emmygzy:1) Please emmygzy, is the new job also to write 5 articles...? And what length are the articles...? I want to negotiate a new job so I can use that piece of information from you 2) Tip for you, (I also learnt on the job) emmygzy:Check the level of plaigraism yourself before submitting to anyone. Upload or copy and past your work on plagiarism-detect.com to verify. It will highlight the areas to work on so you can correct it and if an employer disputes the originality of your work, you can put your foot down and insist you authenticated it yourself. Cheers. |
Neduzze5:Off head. Also research on the internet to authenticate your facts. |
The problem now is that I am so busy on my third project, a 1000-word article, that I might not even have time to teach anyone. I wonder how ladywriter carves out time to run this thread 'cos when you start with Freelancer, and you are serious about beating deadlines, you will not have time to even sleep. Maybe it will change when I become more experienced but right now, I have to pay the sacrifice to build up my reputation. I haven't slept more than a total of 9 hours in the last two days. This is SERIOUS WORK. |
Neduzze5:Neduzze5, no be only men dey post for nairaland o! ![]() |
jaeik007:jaeik007, I used my zenith bank mastercard to register and get started. I was not prevented from bidding and working. |
Hi ladywriter, After reading your thread yesterday, I registered on freelancer. I participated in two graphic competitions and waited. By almost midnight, I participated in an article writing bid for newbies. I won it, wrote my first two 500-word articles, got paid and received reviews around 2.30am this morning. The same person just hired me for a 2,400 article which I am working on right now. The pay is not much, I got $1 for the first job and I'm getting $3 for the current job but I took your advice and I am just 'doing charity work' in order to boost my profile. I will contact you about taking your course. I am particularly interested in eBook writing so I can boost my income level in a very short time. |
The answer to your question is YES. One can be a christian and not attend church. There are even christians living in places where there is no church or where christianity is banned as a form of religion. I am just like your elder sister. I hardly go to church but I fear the Lord my God and do everything possible to keep his commandments. I also tithe on every income I make not by donating to a church but by giving a tenth of everything I earn to the less priviledged anonymously so that they bless my Father in heaven. Yes I have had church goers even cuss me out for not going to church but no one will bully me into grudgingly going to church to please society. Signing the church attendance register will not give anyone automatic gate pass to heaven. Afterall, even within the church, pastors financially abuse members, choir members sleep with each other, deacons sleep with married women, and at the end of service, church members will verbally abuse a conductor who refused to give them change on their way home. |

Monica has so far raised a little above $2,0000. The link to the account can be found here: http://www.gofundme.com/wzjmkc4 Below is what she has to say; My name is Monica Omorodion Swaida, As a teenager, I had the opportunity to go on tour with Majek Fashek in Africa and Abroad. I played on stage with Majek last in NYC. Majek was compared to the late Icon Bob Marley. He was one of the greatest singer and guitarist in Nigeria. He came to America and even went as far as singing in David Letterman's show. Majek put Nigeria on the map when it comes to music. Today, Majek is seen in the streets of Lagos looking for petty change to buy food and drinks. Majek looks sickly and fray. He is looking haggard! How can a national hero be left on the street like that? We must do something to take care of this man. No matter the problems majek has, whether drugs related, Spiritual , or mental related problems, it doesn't matter. Everyone can be saved! let's come together and help him. The family of Majek just recently got their legal papers in America and can now travel. But they need your support. They can't do this alone. They have not been in Nigeria for over 20 years. But they want to help their dad now. I will personally go with the wife Rita Majek and the first Son Randy Majek to Nigeria to join others fighting for this cause to help Majek. Please fans all over the world, let us help save this legend while he is still alive. God bless those reading this. Amen! https://qed.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Monica-Omoriodon-Swaida.jpg I think what she is doing is very commendable. I hope he gets help before it is too late. |
Lemme help you post the story'Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha told public sector workers in his state, some of whom have not been paid for six months, to be “resourceful”. He said they should “stop depending on salary and look for business to do”. This is the level the governance of Imo State has descended. It is a bit rich coming from a governor who can’t pay salaries of public sector workers in his state but has bought a private jet since he became governor, and is advising workers to take on businesses on the side that would mean they can’t concentrate on their jobs. The same governor has not bothered to be “resourceful” himself and sought other ways for his state to become a viable entity through other sources of revenue, rather than over-rely on monthly allocations from the federal government.' |
Tapout:NLT Matthew 2 v 1 Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time SOME wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, KJV Matthew 2 v 1 - 1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, THERE CAME wise men from the east to Jerusalem Which version are you reading...? |
Yes o, that is BenjySome pastors have even quoted "Heaven helps those who help themselves" as a bible verse. Its when you ask them which part of the bible it is they'll start scratching their head ![]() HAZAZEL: |

naijapip1:So the governor is a Professor and he cannot take a minimum of 10 mins to fill out his own nomination form..? An aide has to do it for him right..? ![]() |
Hissing is a very rude and disturbing form of expression but majority of Africans never realise it until they are exposed to people of other races. My sister will hiss at literally anything and it annoys the crap out of me. Light goes off (hiss), water stops running (hiss), gas finishes (hiss), someone does something on tv (hiss), as if hissing will solve the problem. |
Ozigbondu:Please what is the name of that Yoruba boy..? So he eventually denied it was what he said..? |
'cos when you start with Freelancer, and you are serious about beating deadlines, you will not have time to even sleep.

Yes o, that is Benjy
