Sir, my Toyota corolla was vandalized and my ECU and power buttons stollen . I am about to replace the ECU but am told that once I have it and get it plugged to the ECU sucket, that it does not require any other programming while plugged to the car before the car can start, pls I need to know if this information is true.

The Vin No is 2T1BR38E73C093772 , Date of Man : Feb 2002. As I will also want to know the right matching pat No.
I will be very grateful if I have these vital information needed. Many thanks

Brother this is the first time am viewing an info on this from you on nairaland and am very grateful. Though I have spoken with a few people on this outside nairaland just to be sure I don't make a.mistake. thank you Sir. If I may ask , if I buy this ECU will it need to be programmed when to plugged to the car before the car can start ? Pls I need info on this also cos its very vital thnx
