If the car has an immobiliser, it will need to be programmed to the new ECU before the car can start.

Thanks I don’t know if that will work but I got the vin from my car documents the vin sticker is already washed so I can’t see it correctly from the car I had to check the papers. Sure that will work for my Lexus I’ll try them coz my car would come on and when it’s shifted to drive it goes off.

The VIN you provided is incorrect. This is the closest I could get.

So the Electrician went to the auto part market to try to find the right box for my car yesterday today he’ll try install it and see if that’ll work right for it. I’m just tired and frustrated already I miss my car 😞

Can you connect an OBD II scanner to the vehicle and pull out the VIN? Without the correct VIN, you'll just be fishing for a replacement ECM by trial and error.

Turns out this electrician or whatever he’s called has been using the wrong brain box how on hell did he expect my car to start. What have I done to deserve something like this. I’ll upload the pic of the one he was using to try to start my car. Now I’ll have tow my car to another expert to get the right one and start my car I’m so exhausted from this.

Can you please check the windshield at the bottom of the driver side for the correct VIN? I can link you up with a contact in Ladipo who can get the correct ECM.

Snap the number tag under the driver side windshield.
