Anyone pls jstemmanex: Pls I need help o, been trying to locate the page where phone charging business with solar was discussed. Anyone who can pls help with the link.
I'm planning setting up a phone charging business for a retiring uncle with my old bread 1.5kw and 4kw Haisic and considering adding 3 pcs of 590w panel. If he runs it well and there's higher demand, I may get a larger setup and add 3 more 590 panels |

I think I'm ready to let go of this for 80k. I initially kept it a backup.
Only issue is I don't have the manual so I'm unable to change the alarm type. When the voltage drops to the low voltage setting, the alarm starts

Many thanks, my inverter would take it. My main reason is I was initially using a Bread 1.5kva with VOC of 30-500v but now want to change to Growatt 5kva with VOC of 120-430. So it seems the volt from the panel isn't enough for the Growatt to charge the battery cos it's charging with grid AyobamiOluwole: Be careful of the advice you are getting and don’t fry your controller.
There was a reason it was configured 4S2P in the first place. Connecting all in series means you’ve tripled the VOC of your panel. Therefore, you need to confirm if this tallies with what your controller can take, else, you will burn your controller. bassdow: YES but ensure your external charge controller (or hybrid inverter) can handle such.
Also ensure your charge Controller (inbuilt or external) are MPPT else you would be wasting resources bkuranga: It's even better to connect all in series than your current setup. Since you will be dealing with lesser current. |

Thanks a lot. I don't plan collecting rain water from the roof. Would just ensure whoever is installing the panels when the time comes is really skilled. Grateful for all the contributions 🙏 mctfopt: Apart from the fact you can't really use water from the roof, you run a risk of breakage during installation. Apart from these two issues I don't really think there's any other minus in using asbestos roof. Thanks, I'm not the one doing the actual work but an artisan. Won't be so close to the materials for that long but would advise him to use one though. CuteMaro: Make sure to wear a nose mask while working on Asbestos. It is highly carcinogenic! |

Don't ignorantly follow band wagon. Get a tax consultant to take advantage of various provisions of the new tax act. As much as there are benefits, there are stiffer prices to pay for ignorance Your wife isn't telling you the entire truth sir, tax on 500k last year can never be 47k. I'm a tax consultant so I'm cock sure ibechris: Be deceiving yourself.
When u are blinded by tribal hate how would u know if taxes affect things?
My wife earns about 500k monthly last year her tax was 47k or there about now,it is about 67k. Same salary wey no increase yet her tax increased.

1. Ensure the volts of the battery and inverter are same, if so you may need to take the inverter for repair 3. MPPT is best but you may also get a pwm charge controller 4. Cheap is relative, best to state your budget NACE13: Please, to the senior men here. My 500w satchet inverter fan just spins but doesn't bring power from the battery when I switch it on. What could be the possible cause and can inverters be repaired?
Secondly, who has an affordable 150w or 200w car inverter.
Thirdly, what can I use in place of an MPPT charge controller if I want to start using solar panels to charge?
Also, who has got any good and affordable(cheap) PSW 1000w inverter for sale? |
Technology Market › Re: Before You Go Solar: I'll Tell You This Secret For Free. by jstemmanex(m): 11:47pm On Sep 05, 2025 |
He was probably scammed or ill informed as the first post pointed. I used to do 30k electricity bill on band A. Invested about 1.5m on solar and I've been completely off grid for over 3 months now. 24 hours of light and I'm sure if national grid collapse again I won't be affected. Just plan your solar journey well Jakarta: I spent around 500k switching to BAND A early last year, I average around 50k for electricity bill. A friend called it reckless spending, that solar is the way. He spent around 3m installing solar, loaded batteries on his corridor like CNG tanks on Dangote trailer. He dares not power on his refrigerator, water heater, or hot plate. As it stands his batteries and solar panels are currently for sale. I"m yet to spend 2.5M even after a year+ Nothing beats Band A. |

Thanks, not so sure of the exact charge cut off. Only been able to hit it once so you may be right about 14.4 cutefy: The charge curve has a sigmoid shape. It takes a long time to reach full charge from around 13.2v.
How come you normally hit 14.6v. I thought Lifepo4 12v batteries shouldn't exceed 14.4v. Are you sure you're not overcharging your battery? |
