Conditional offer letters that can not be used for visa purpose will be stated on it... so if ther is any way it state that then..don't proceed with it. . But always try to fulfill the requirements just in case at ALL they contact ur institution. sashafierce: There are no reasons to b xplained evrything depends on d VO handling ur case. So lets stop d numerous assumptions. I dint evn submit an SOP cos I dint knw bout it til slimdel told me . N den i had submited ma application alrdy I am nt saying people mst use conditional offers or people shudnt write SOP. evrything works differently for evry1 in as much as one shud try to do all d necessary things. Bt wer u cnt get an unconditional offer n ur laging behind time n u decide to use ur conditional offer doesnt mean ul b denied visa |

Amefrica: Mehhn! Words can't express how glad and happy I am right now. After been denied US Student VISA (3 times) and Canada once, I still didn't give up. Mehhn! E nor easy oo..
Below are the documents submitted;
My Uncle is my sponsor, we bear different surnames. My documents are very little.
1st application;
0. The application forms
1. 2 SOAs (6 months) --- personal and business. Personal: 3.3m, business 4.3m. Both have good flows of transactions with over 250m (total credit)
2. CAC docs (Note: this is the only proof of his biz I submitted.) No tax clearance nor invoice.
3. Letter of Sponsorship in his business letter headed paper, signed and stamped.
4. Affidavit of Support.
5. WAEC
6. SOP
7. $100 tuition deposit receipt (as requested by school).
8. Passport photo
9. Int'l passport
10. Mum's birth cert, showing same birthname (surname) with my sponsor.
Denial --- "I am not convinced you will leave Canada at the end of your stay" so they ticked "Purpose of Visit" only as the reason.
2nd appllication..
I didn't touch any of my documents, didn't even update my SOA, it started October and ended May. I submitted all like that.
The only thing I touched is my SOP, thanks to lindyque, missbon, beulah hephzibah. The SOP is a killer
My advice to applicants is, try to fill the online forms very well, there were error in my former app forms but I took my time the 2nd time and filled everything correctly.
Thanks all for ur congratulatory messages. I'm most grateful! Yaay!!! Oko the lovely's .. congratulations! !! Dude |

I don't think your agent is correct. . some university in canda even use the last 2 sections.i.e 3 and 400L or 4 and 500L depending on the course u read..go on d internet boss.. forget abt d agent That issue is the least of your worries. Dnt be discouraged. Smile Ornaments: I NEED HELP I AM LOOSING SLEEP ALREADY. Hello Everyone, I have always been interested in M.sc in Canada more reason why i had to read with all i have while at the university and i was able to graduate with a CGPA of 4.02/5.00. Then i was introduced to an Agent for Admission and Visa processing. After choosing a university MUN precisely, and a course of study with high hopes and optimistic spirit of landing in Canada by January 2015, it seems my dreams is about being shattered. Reasons being that, my Agent said it is impossible to secure an admission into any Canadian university because of my Transcript.
I transferred from one state University to a private university where i eventually graduated meaning that my transcript is from 200-400 level. He insisted without transcript from my former school no university in Canada would ever grant me admission or better still my chances of being admitted is 20/80 that i have to go get transcript that was used in admitting me from the state university to the private university where i eventually graduated. And i don't think getting the transcript is ever possible the school and the department are so disorganized that i had to use influence of a staff in the state university to get my transcript sent to the university where i eventually graduated then in fact i happen to be the first student ever that would get transcript successfully from my department and unfortunately the staff is no longer in that state university so i am helpless. I have contacted admission offices of the canadian school of my choice school to seek their official opinion but it seems the admission office don't have the clearance to answer my query but all other issues was attended too except this issue of my chances... they simply ignored the question as regards my admission chances
Please i need help because i wouldn't want to waste my money......cos now i want to sideline the agent. Can my 200l-400l transcript plus my B.sc certificate fetch me admission letter? I am so confused right now . Please house help me I am so worried right now. |

Sorry about the refusal. It was a very wrong move to submit your application without the reciept from the school. . Email isn't sufficient. I guess ur application was tru paper..becaz u should have just asked the school to scan u a copy of the receipt and attach Make sure you have more than 10k Cad apart from school expenses for upkept. It is required. It Isn't a bad idea to used a co sponsor. But remember to add an affidavit and sponsorship letter and explan in your SOP why your sponsor would spend on u. Since he is not your parent. And application without SOP?..oboi from what I have been reading na..Na wrong move. Make sure u have something that will bring u back i.e.reasons to leave canada.. make dem no go tak on that again. Hold on and get more advice from the experts before repackage and re firing .Victory is certain.. Oyetezee: Hi guys,
I applied ealier in the year and it was refused. I uplaoded the following documents.
1. A Letter of Acceptance/Admission by the school 2. Police Certificate 3. My statement of account for 4months with N3m balance . Openining balance was about N600k(though the inflow came in bulk payments over 2 months). 4. 3 mths payslip with net salary of 300k 5. Employment letter and ID card 7. Letter from employer stating no objection to the college granting me admission. 8. Email from the school confirming receipt of $13,000.00 (The chumps kept on promising to send the receipt of payment for over two weeks, i had to Submit without it) 9. A valid international passport with 2 utilised U.K visas 10. Marriage certificate 11. Wifes employment letter, ID card and payslip of about 300k monthly 12 Tax clearance I.D card 13. Letter from a friend in Canada confirming receipt of payment of 2 months accomodation, with a Landlord tenancy agreement.
Reason for refusal. . Insufucient financial resources to pay tuition fees . Insufficient financial resources to pay living expenses for myslef and any other person accompanying me , without working in Canada(note i have no one accompanying me) . Employment status . Intention for visit to Canada
I intend to re-apply in October with the following
1. A Letter of Acceptance/Admission by the school 2. Police Certificate (the same one i used earlier) 3. 3mths payslip with net salary of 300k 4. Employment letter and ID card 5.Letter from employer stating no objection to the college granting me admission. 6. Email from the school confirming receipt of $13,000.00 (The chumps kept on promising to send the receipt of payment for over two weeks, i had to submit without it) 7. A valid international passport with 2 utilised u.k visas 8. Marriage certificate 9 Tax clearance ID card 10. Letter from employer stating i will be on study leave for the period 11. New admission letter from the school for the next semester and receipt of payment of tuition fee that was finally received from the chumps. (i deffered the admission) 12. New statemement of account with opening balance of 3.7mm and hopefully closing with 5.5mm 13. Document showing Deed of Assingment of my landed property 14. I intended to remove this document "Wifes employment letter, ID card and payslip of about 300k monthly" 15. Statement of purpose 16. I have an option on including a co-sponsor from a brother who is self employed don't know what the turnover in the account at teh time would be. May be from 2mm -8mm, though available balance as at the time of my application may not be much.
I really do not want to pay accomomdation fees
I would appreciate advice |

MrsM: Thanks for your replies Haustraliah and Missbon! Its either human resource management or nursing....seems I will have a better chance of getting a visa if I go for the former..i chose nursing because nurses seem to have better prospects in Canada...but I might be wrong. It seems most people on this thread did the whole process themselves. Someone told me its better to use an agent..i always apply for visas myself and so far i've been to Uk(have a 5 year visa) and US on visits. But is it really better to use an agent? And also..at my age 31 will I be allowed to take the course as a second degree? HR should be better.. you can do a fasttrack program. . Not necessarily another Bsc. All u need is a very good SOP.. and stop doing in age thing And u can apply by ur self or thru an agent. . Just continue to seek guidelines. From the thread. |

Oboi. Its like you did the mistake I did when I first applied I.e. Following the checklist religiously. From what u stated no 1. SOP (most important) 2. Sponsorship letter..if u are been sponsored And are u go for a lower course? Your financial status dosent realy mean the fund available for your welfare and tuition . From what I have seen pple add stuff like landed property shares cert and stuff like that. The guru in d house will add more to this. Don't be discouraged my friend repackage and refire. Hassan0007: Hi guys, I really need your assistance for getting a study visa. I have already applied for the study visa and got refused The documents which I have submitted with the visa application are: My college ID. My Bank statement with about $ 40,000 funds available. Acceptance letter I paid the tuttion fees of 11,000 dollars Police clenrance After showing all these i have got the refusal for Canadian TRV.
The reason which they gave me for the refusal was that
You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, Including:
Your travel history. (I have never been to any other country.) Length of proposed stay in canada (which was 22 month.) Purpose of visit. (Which was To studt) Your current employment situation. (I am a student.) Your personal assets and financial status. (I have shown my bank statement with about C$40 000 funds available.)
Please suggest me what should i do ?
Thanks in advance, your help will be really appreciated. |
