, As for me, Lagos is not truly going with what is on that IV scheduling tool. Some cases may get IL, some may not get. I don't really know whats up in Lagos US consulate. But thank God IV tool on Lagos has moved front, indicating VB to move very well.

My dear we thank God for that, but the main thing is this IL(invitation Letter) Nigeria is far far back. Even when you are current on PD, getting IL is taking almost a year. Lagos consulate should help us!!!!.

The waiting is frustrating. I cried for joy after I received my IL because I was wondering if it will ever come. My PD was current throughout the 2024 fiscal year, yet no IL.

This is not expert's advice, nor is this made for any monetary gain whatsoever.

I recommend renewing your passport without reaching out to request an update, as doing so could potentially reset your Documentarily Qualified (DQ) date. Instead, bring the renewed passport to your interview and inform the Consular Officer directly. Alternatively, you can notify the document reviewing officer during your first visit to the consulate.

Same Opinion with me, They already knows passport does expire and someone has to renew it. And your old one passport number has a connection with the new one. My Wife's own will expire in 2026, If we don't get visa before that time we have to renew it. I think old passport is always with the person. So you will go to interview with the old and new One.

To the haus, It seem the consulate will be going ahead with the 2 visit approach (document review and interview) for everyone starting January 1st 2025. This program was beta-tested earlier this year with a few applicant in the family immigrant section. I have attached a screenshot I came across this morning. It seem to have been updated on Nov.6th. Cheers to a new week!

Is so worry some, I think someone should be looking at other countries, with NCLEX at hand maybe Canada or Australia? Again, Lagos Consulate is not helping matters at all, for some people that their PD has been current since, no IL till this retrogression met them again. Other countries like Kenya and SA don't waste time in giving IL. God, Please Help your children, we are going through a lot here in this country.

EB-3 route are here also, some of us DQ, waiting for PD to become current. Most of us representing our wives who are nurses, I don't know if it is only nurses that are in EB-3. So I don't know your academic qualifications.
