Travel › Re: Please Help! . I Have A Serious Phobia For Traveling. (Graphic Photos) by judewrites: 8:51am On Jun 03, 2025 |
Exgee: Hi guys, I don't know what's wrong with me. Growing up, my best moment was whenever I was traveling(By road). I used to enjoy this.
But since I clocked 25, I no longer find it pleasurable traveling, I'm always scared of traveling. I fear that I may be involved in an accident that could maim or kill me. I have not been able to share this with anyone cos I don't know how to. Some years ago, my friend and I had a terrible ghastly accident that almost costed us our dear lives. We were returning back from the village in the early(6am) hours of the morning and before we would exit the village, the brakes of our vehicle(Lexus 350) failed and the speed of the car tripled. I saw death, I came in direct contact with death, but God saved me. My friend who was driving was quickly rushed to the hospital where he spent a week but I was lucky to not be much affected. I only had a cut on my lips and head. The vehicle somersaulted countless times. Farmers who were on their way to the farm that morning and heard the sound of the car somersaulting refused coming to help us. They said they didn't want to see Dead bodies at that early time of the morning, they didn't know we survived.
Sometimes again, I had another accident. I was about running mad when I eventually managed to pull out of the car, I had use my head to hit everywhere. These two accidents involving two different cars were all sold as scraps cos the damage were irreparable. And if they were to be fixed, the money would be more than imagine.
Again, my father died from a motorbike (Vespa) accident many years ago while I was just 7years. He didn't die on the spot, he even brought himself back home that night unaided. No external injuries but he had internal bleeding which wasn't detected in time, at 4am, mum took him to the hospital as pains in his chest became intense and at 7am, he gave up the ghost. The psychological impact of all these still affect me, I guess.
How do I overcome this please? Its so bad that whenever a loved one is traveling, I will be saying in my mind that the person might die on the road and that we may never see again. God pls help me!
God has saved me countless times and if I begin to write here, we may not go to bed tonight. To God alone be all the Glory! People very fearful and with near death experiences while traveling are often hunted by the spirit of death 💀⚰️ Do you see dead relatives/family members in your dreams? Then it means you need deliverance from the spirit of death. Apart from that, you can't be fearful and faith_full at the same time. |

ufotunang: The bible says faith without works is dead and the bible also says I will bless the hands of your labour.. not your prayers What brings about the blessing on your works if not faith/prayers? Both faith and works go together. |

The spiritual realm is far higher and controls what happens physically.
While we use work to influence the physical realm, we use faith to influence the spiritual realm. Both faith and work go hand in hand.
But the spiritual is much higher than the physical. So we need more faith than work to move Nigeria forward.
Pastor Adeboye is saying the truth, things could have been worse if not for prayers. |

Nairaland General › Re: Two Things One Can Never Hide No Matter How Smart One Is!!! by judewrites: 5:43pm On May 27, 2025 |
Factcheck0001: Good afternoon everyone, just like the topic says there are majorly two things no man can hide no matter how smart he is and how codes he is.
The first thing is POVERTY
No matter how good at management a man is, he can never hide poverty because with time it will rear it's ugly heads and become very obvious.
Any man going through financial difficulty, no matter how well he wants to hide it some things will start becoming visible. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you a man is going through hell if he carries bushy hair, faded clothes, worn out slippers.
You can just sit down at a junction and pretend as if you are making calls then mere looking at some people you know they are going through a lot.
That brings us to the saying that poverty is very hard to maintain
The second one is WEALTH
No matter how well you can hide things, wealth or affluence will show. I didn't give examples when I talked about POVERTY because I don't want to sound inhumane but let me give you a typical example of my friend who once tried to hide wealth.
He served in the north and got retained by a rich northerner who deals with trailer, he was treated well and after like 5 years the man died and our friend was well settled so he relocated to south west.
We normally call him coded due to his lifestyle of trying to hide everything, when he came he established block industry, boutique and poultry but he will still wear cheap clothes.
What gave him out was his fresh looks, nice perfumes and wristwatch always looking cool. He hid it to d extent that even his farm manager had a car already but the CEO is hoping around on bike.
Last last this guy had to buy Toyota big daddy because even the poorest in his clique was using something better, last last we all saw his house and it was one in town, he couldn't just hide it.
So it's obvious you can't hide those two things
POVERTY and WEALTH Yes, you are right to an extent. But both poverty and wealth can be inconsistent. A poor man can be rich tomorrow and vice versa. It will take some time for a former billionaire to show signs of poverty because of excess clothes, shoes, cars, etc. But eventually he or she will start wearing rags if help doesn't come. A poor man can change his appearance through wealth, but if he falls back to poverty, he can camouflage for sometime before true colours of poverty begin to show. |

Nobody is destined to be poor. It's just that many people's destinies have/has been manipulated. God's original plan is for us all to keep increasing though not at the same pace. |

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. — Hebrews 9:27
Luke 16 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁹ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
²⁰ And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
²¹ And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
²² And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
²³ And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
²⁴ And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
²⁵ But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
²⁶ And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. |
