dupyshoo:From my personal experience, I think it's okay to upload both passports. (if you like Nigeria enough to get a Naija passport issued for your child ) ![]() In my own case, I uploaded both the Nigerian and American passport for my kids.( I have 2) and we got PPR on the 21st day. ![]() Going by CIC's rule of uploading all pages with markings on travel documents, I uploaded both passports. My decision was driven by the fact that they have their entry and exit stamps as well as their Nigerian travel visa on the American passport. (Initial visa obtained to bring them back home after birth). For Passport submission, only the data page of their American passport is required by experience, but I sent both passports after reading @folamigo's post. Application got approved on CIC profile on the 12th of September but yet to receive COPR thanks to my brothers in Accra.(Still waiting for Pickup mail). Note: Only spouse and I have visa numbers generated on CIC profile. (issued for our very green Naija passports). It is therefore evident that citizens of visa exempt countries will only get COPR since their passports can get them into Canada. |

GlitteringStar:@ GlitteringStar, great job! |
sexymj:If she gets a new test result with a minimum of 7 in reading and other scores remaining constant, then her crs score will jump to 431 without Ielts & Eca for accompanying spouse.
|
sexymj:Find below scores for scenario A & B using the information you provided. Scenario A : Accompanying Spouse without Ielts & ECA Scenario B:Non-Accompanying Spouse. Please check again to be sure you selected the right answers to the questions in the crs tool.

MRSDA:Relax MRSDA! Average time from AOR to medical passed has reduced to 10-15 days for FSW- Outland since end of July. PNP timeline still longer. I submitted my application on the 10th of August and got med passed on the 22nd of August. |
Owlette:Depends on your tertiary Institution. Most schools respond without additional payment, while a few will only respond at a fee. |
Dammie2017:
Not a problem! Get your stamped six(6) months statement from them, and upload with LOE that your bank refused to issue a reference letter on a savings account. You can decide to do an overkill by getting GTB to document their response and uploading with your LOE. Best Wishes. |
Motunrayoadef:Question 1: Start from the most recent activity and work backwards until your 18th birthday or 10 years. Be thorough, no gaps and include ALL activities. Put most recent address first and work backwards. Question 2: Your are in IP2 Question 3: CIC is unpredictable, timeline can be a day to 30days after submission. Good news is that you are almost at the finish line. Best Wishes! |
mzjennypher:Use the attached calculator to convert your IELTS score to CLB, then pick the corresponding point on the language scale. http://ieltscanadatest.com/test-results/ielts-and-clb/ |
flyboi1:NOC is fine. Second option is to recalculate your eligibility for FSW using the 6 factor test. See link below. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp You need to score minimum of 67/100 * Glitteringstar has nailed it. |
flyboi1:What is your NOC? Please check to be sure it falls under A, B or 0. |

God Almighty shall surely make it happen soon. Note - Family size - 4, Decent travel history, Zero history of visa rejection for self & spouse. |
4Barr:One in bold gives you 5 points under eligibility only( I.e the six factor test to determine eligibility for FSW). Graded over 100 Sibling will give you 15points on the express entry scale. Graded over 600 as well as 5points for eligibility. |
You were obviously below 67/100 in the six factor eligibility test. (Aunt/Uncle) in Canada will boost your eligibility score by 5 points but not give additional points on express entry scoring scale. Modified.

It is cumulative. If you have spent 6 months or more in the last 10 years or since you were 18, u will need a U.K PCC. |
Please take the 6 factor test using the attached link. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp You need a minimum of 67/100 to be eligible for FSW. Best Wishes. |
This really is the most confusing part for me. Any inputs?
Inferring from the attached extract from CIC, you can see the importance placed on graduate and post graduate study in addition to a 3 year study. I think college study will fall in the category in the exception quoted.(I.e secondary school & high school). My opinion (remember that i'm not an authority or VO), please tell your friend to err on the side of caution and select a bachelors Degree.

mecuryf:See below: Options. 1. Call FBI @ +1(304) 625-5590 Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST 2. Write to identity@ic.fbi.gov with you full name and date of birth. Please share your experience on this, because all I have heard is that you will need to start all over. Best wishes. |
nkigirl:@ Nkigirl, it depends on your target province, as the designation must be issued by one of the 9 members. I believe almost all members except CPHR BC & Yukon expect you to be present in Canada and pass the NKE before getting the designation. Read up here: https://cphr.ca/cphr-canada/member-associations/ http://cphrbc.ca/cphr/become-a-cphr/the-cphr-path/ |
Morbolar:Cumulative |
@ mecuryf - Average processing time for FBI PCC is now between 12-14 weeks. See attached tracker for info. https://myimmitracker.com/en/us/trackers/fbi-summary-check-tracker/fullscreen |
I sincerely do not have answers to your questions. You may need to call the numbers on the PG school page or visit LAUTECH. I however consider it a great opportunity to pay the current transcript fee of 5k.(Incase they decide to take the path of OAU). |
@ damidamsel Call or visit your bank to request for a USD card. You can then source and load the desired amount in USD on the card. |
@Dafinest4life Did you get the decision mail today? If yes, then it took 11 working days. Cheers |
@ Dafuninest4life Got same mail without reference number in March, and my application was approved. You honestly can't know until you open your package. Your passport should be ready for pickup a day after the mail since it's Lagos. All the best! Finally, when did you submit @ Ikeja TLS? Trying to get an idea of the current timeline. |
God bless our gallant soldiers |

2 months from AOR to Medical passed? It's ok...pass me the popcorn and the soda, get me some good movies while at it. I pray we don't have to wait that long.
