As a married man, even if I am making out with my wife and I notice that she is not there emotionally, I stop everything.

Once a woman is emotionally detached, give her space before you're accused of what will make you go gaga

Avoiding talking to her again on the matter. It shows insecurity which she will definitely explore in this marriage.

Don't engage the EX, it will be like El-Rufai and Reno (stooping so low).

What do you have to do? Keep your distance and plan your exit.

It is this kind of low mentality that has caused the vast majority of citizens to still remain in the darkness of knowledge.

Poor people don’t understand the impact of economic sanctions on a nation, because poverty is all that they know.
Anyone that's quick to call someone poor, is truly poor.

Let me rephrase: Anyone who throws tantrums in a discourse is not just a child but an immature person in an adult body.

Sir, choose your words wisely while in public, others are reading to either shape their worldview or for citation.

Some generalisation do run weird in my head. I have this female friend till date. Works at same establishment, goes home and dates together when we were singles. She comes to my house we play chess and other games yet till date nothing happened. Is she pretty? Yes!
Is she from a wealthy family? Yes! Even more than my family.
Was I a playboy? Unless you didn't enter my room.
Sometimes as married folks, she will ask me the question...Dude! How did I escape your room when we were singles? We just laugh it off.. it got to a point she christened my bed "altar of destruction".

Most times we hanged out as married folks na the hubby dey drop her for location. My wife knows her...both even got pregnant and birthed same period.

I think we need to outgrow some thinking pattern and behaviours. It is immaturity at play.

Unless you don't have value for humans, friendship and discipline. Our friendship started from our Dad to us then possibly our kids (now), you want me to loose that just for few minutes gratification? Funny enough, I was the one who approved her hubby and same to me...when I was dating one lady, she said that girl can't be my wife but the moment she saw my current, she said this is your wife. For pretty, my wife is even prettier than her.

Now you see why it is weird to me when people say, one can't have a male bestie. Learn to program your mind to be responsible and decent to a friend. Have limits to your philandering not every food one should eat.

Do you or have you taken into consideration that a train line will be far cheaper and serve everybody instead of those who are rich and can fly?
Let me even shock ,I dont fly in Nigeria I drive everywhere that I realy need to be when I visit.I drive from PH to Benin or Okada to the west, and I can drive to Aba and Onitsha to the east, I do that often.Im always on teh East west road when I land Nigeria
The security architecture of this country right now is not worth risking your life enroute Bush path all in the name of cheap rail transport, Sir. Like you stated both are needed and choices are to be made.
PoliticsRe: Abia State Proposes ₦‎750.3 Billion Budget For 2025 by JuicyEarth: 9:35pm On Dec 10, 2024
englishmart:
750 billion for a population of approximately 4.2 million people amounts to about N182k or $116 per head, if the money were to be shared.
$116 can't feed a 6-month-old child for one year. The budget is very poor.

In context. The US budget for 2023 was $6.7 trillion on a populationof 334 million. Each person gets at least $20k or or #34 million if it were to be shared.
That's what a budget looks like
You said US sir not New York City. This is Abia State, tiny among the dots. Criticism should it be linear or curved? Wait for Nigeria budget, then draw proper comparison.

Humbly submitted for your critical reasoning.

How about establish Rail Lines instead, cos this wil be cheaper than an Airport.and it will benefit everyone
The system of Nigeria transport system is trajectory. Get what is been offered first that will aid development and then wait for supplement. When this project came, it was as an airstrip but the Governor knows what best suits residents of his state.

Rail transport system is not off the book but both does not serve same purpose and same class of people. Someone like me won't trust my life on a fast track than an airplane. Limitations also a bound in rail transportation as it is not easily connected within the federation.

Edygrin:
There's an airport in Anambra and Imo, an International Airport in Enugu, another one in Uyo, Akwa Ibom which are all neighboring states, why then does Abia state need an airport again if not that the government is looking for a way to loot.
Let me buttress the above observations from you and state why Abia needs it own Airport as follows;
1. Anambra Airport is more than 2hrs:00 mins drive from the closest boundary of Abia to its location while Owerri is more than 1hr:15mins drive from Umuahia (The state's capital not even Aba the economic hub of the state)

2. Enugu Airport and Akanu-Ibiam Airport are both more than 2hrs drive from Umuahia..

3. I am stating facts because I use them...

4. You asked why the State needs an Airport, right? Firstly I can tell you that more than 50% of OWR and UYO passengers are from Abia state..we service these airports, raise internally generated revenue for them at their own credit (Don't forget the new tax bill may see the heavens soonest). Now if you are a business man, does this values lost on transit a better option to an Airport that will service you within 45 mins drive from any part of Abia?

5. Prior to the siting of the Airport, considerations where made regarding how the airport will serve the mega city (Aba which is business hub) and the service city (Umuahia the capital), bringing a bridge development that will aid in the creation of new city within the Mgbarakuma axis down to Umuikaa. This is to ensure that both cities are not choked with the rapid developments happening.

6. The Airport is more of a cargo Airport with the mindset of ensuring that ease of doing business is achievable in the state.

Abia needs the Airport for more numerous reasons because it will equally lead to job creation, enhance tourism and travels. Trust me with the recent happenings in Abia, the Airport is not an elephant project nor that which will be short of passengers when finished. Only Aba residents down to the business areas in Ukwa will keep the airport busy.

The only problem here is OWR and Uyo will be greatly affected as more passengers will use Abia airport but it is all about the citizens of the state, internally generated revenue and development.

PS: As it may be a cargo Airport some pioneer airports will be decongested.

Sit at home in peace. My question is, are there no civil servant in the state? Are they not going to work as well? What is d governors doing about it
There are Civil Servants. They are the worst hit as their day to day pilfering will be affected, which in turns reflect in their feeding at home.

The government are helpless because we don't have a function system wherein the welfare and security of the people is top priority. I once told a political appointee the need for one of the Governor's who we are working for to provide Buses to convey at least civil servants who are the worst hit of these inflations thro and fro work. If this have been in position, no civil servant will have an excuse not to be at his desk during these sit at homes. Take for instance, today the whole city roads is deserted and power holding did a good one for them today - power have been available since morning.

You won't blame a civil servant who does not have a means to come to work why s/he avoided today. You won't blame them for doubting our security agencies, whom themselves are scared of their lives; then who protects who? No matter what the State Governor will do for now, there is a distrust among Easterners towards these governments that can make them heed to their directives.

The influence lies on IPOB, who is virtually in charge of the transport system and markets. By the way, you won't force a private citizen to do his business in your own terms, when his capital is not yours; which majority of Igbos falls into this category. Finally remember, Igbo enweghi Eze and the Governors definitely can't be one for them.

Not hilarious! This is reality. I once dated an Akwa-ibom girl from Abak. They are what a virtuous woman should be. I had issues with my family, when I was asked not to marry her. The issue lingered that I had to travelled down to my maternal home that I have not visited for over 17 years to pleaded for their support; all to no avail.

I was disappointed with what stereotyping could cause one. My Dad who is liberal and even instigated the relationship at a point became helpless because his kinsmen said they won't be part of my marriage.

The stereotype I hinted earlier on is, that an average lady from that side does not remain faithful to any man not from their side. I tried my best to dislodge such mindset but wetin man go do.

My first experience as a fresh in that hall was funky. A hostel with no day or night. Due to the high rate of activities in that hostel which I was not accustomed to, I jumped up from my bed around 2pm thinking I was already late for lecturer. I rushed and picked my buckets, as I was heading out of my room grin omo everywhere dark o except the flood lights gracing these mild monsters playing football at that time. I was disappointed with myself when I checked time cheesy.

The first riot i experienced as an undergraduate was orchestrated from that hall. Once a lady, you be tanker.

Reminds me of our time in UNN, the Franco area (boys hostels) rarely have female visitors because of the taunts from guys (always screaming tanker when they sight any woman in the hostel cheesy), even though there is one female hostel close by. Guys hostel don't even have gates, so it's always open... 😅

But we guys always visit the female hostels at will especially during the visiting hours from Noon till 10PM. I always visited by sisters in their hostels and mehn my eyes saw things some days in those girls hostels grin grin grin...

There was an evening my sister called me to come and get some things she got from the market, I left the library late and went to her hostel, and they was no power supply that evening and it was hot, I kinda sneaked in grin and got what I went there for, on my way out due to the hot weather some babes where standing at the lobby half baked to get some fresh air and there is this one that was even stark naked, she didn't see me initially and fortunately for her I was not even seeing her because it was dark but immediately the school Gen was put on and from her reactions (scampering away) I saw some glimpse but turned away my eyes and left... 😅 😅 😂 It was quite funny though.
Foreign AffairsRe: White House Believes Iran Is Preparing Ballistic Missile Attack Against Israel by JuicyEarth: 6:08pm On Oct 01, 2024
It is how it should be but i think what's playing out before us, is a long carefully calculated strategy by the West -US precisely to deal with Iran's growing influence in the world and Middle-East at large.
From the onset of October 7, you won't tell me that two of the best intelligency agencies; good with infiltration in the world did not know that such attack will happen. I believe one of their agents in the ranks and files of Hamas must have lead them on to carry out the attack while Mossad turn blind eye so as theid plans will kick off in scale of defense and blabla ba.

The Ukraine war is also part of the calculation whereby the Russian will be preoccupied with their own wars first, before being an ally. Bet me, in the event of Iran and Isreal "war", the Ukarainians will intensify their attacks on Russian soil.

The US wants to wane Russian and Iran of their growing influence in Middle-East and same time warn other chukuchuku wannabe powers that they are capable of anything.

This is more of Economical influence than political war.

My analysis o

At this point I will stop engaging you but refer you to BIR ask them what each Local Government contribute as revenue to the state, move to Ministry of Lands and Housing abd ask what the Ngwa region have to offer to the state. Did you just ask, "Aside from Aba what else does an Ngwa man have?"
Bro you are talking with someone who is in the known about happenings in your state.
Which part of Ngwaland is comparable to development, table land and security to Bende, Isiukwuato, Umunneochi and Ohafia axis of your state?
Calm bro, make I no go give others wetin to use attack Abia later.
Ojiofor:
As far as Aba remains in Aba state we have no problems in developing it.What is wrong in one developing his state?
Aside from Aba what else does an Ngwa man have? Our villages can never be compared with villages in Ngwaland.
The oil and gas is found in Ukwa west which is Ndoki land.
PoliticsRe: State Creation In South East: Aba State by JuicyEarth: 3:04pm On Sep 30, 2024
Ok still on your analogy..
Abia North is made of who and who?
Abia South is predominately Ngwas
Abia Central is Ngwa and Umuahia, right? If Umuahia people have ruled is it not Logical for someone of the other divide to rule to balance the equation?
Don't you think is greed that will make someone from Abia North to rule/ have stake more in the state than those whom you believe are in the majority? What justifies that?

You said we should leave history of Abia out of this, then what's the essence of living. If not from history, where did you get the notion that Ngwa people are more clannish than your people? Did politics just started off oblivion? These your subsumed colonial creation are they not in existence? Even in the fourth Republic where majority votes is important, why promote power rotation?
Ojiofor:
Let us concentrate on politics of Abia and leave tantrums for now.
We are nolonger living in colonial times when Igboland was divided in old Bende and Aba divisions....We are in the fourth republic where senatorial zones have constitutionally replace the old order. So old Bende and Aba division is nolonger in existence.

In 1999 Abia elders had a gentleman's agreement for sake of equity and justice to rotate power among the 3 senatorial zones so called Aba division was part of that agreement only to selfishly change the rules of the game in the middle of a match in the name of old Bende and Aba division that is being clannish.
Aba and Umuahia was a colonial creation and we in Abia North see the two cities as a collective heritage of nde Abia state and we have contributed a lot to its development.
PoliticsRe: State Creation In South East: Aba State by JuicyEarth: 2:46pm On Sep 30, 2024
Now sequel to the above reply,

Is your fear that of the Local Government Areas that will remain in Abia state or that the goose that lays the golden egg is pulled out from Old Bende's whims? Just like the oil that grease the wheel of Nigeria is in Southern Nigeria so it is with the Ngwas in Abia State. State your truth and stop profiling people as clannish. Tomorrow you will fight hard here, when Igbos are been profile as ritualist, drug barons and all evils in their bag.

Until there is a paradigm shift in thinking, you will continue to emotinally justify your wrong submissions. Tomorrow it will be "Wawa people" or "Deje people".

Just like Obasanjo said "Atiku to be president? I laugh" Old Bende region will keep developing Ngwa region just same way una believe say "Igbos are developing Lagos ".
PoliticsRe: State Creation In South East: Aba State by JuicyEarth: 2:28pm On Sep 30, 2024
Sorry for my earlier tantrums. You replied as it should be but your earlier submissions were more clannish than the accused.

Let me delve into the politics of Abia as someone who grew up in the state and in the known. Abia state is typically divided into two divisions: The Aba Ngwa and Old Bende axis.

Now let us go into the power play since the creation of Abia. The first civilian governor of Abia till the later;
* Ogbonnaya Onu - Old Bende region
* Orji Uzor Kalu - Old Bende region (Abia North)
* T.A Orji - Old Bende region (Abia Central)
* Okezie Ikpeazu - Aba Ngwa region (Abia South)
* Oti Chioma - ancestry is from Old Bende region but choose to live among Ngwas in Abia Central.

Worthy of note is that Abia central is made up of both old Bende and Ngwa extractions and in this mixture...the Old Bende have taken their slot.

In all sincerity, what is wrong if Okezie Ikpeazu chooses to return the governorship slot to Abia central wherein the Ngwa extraction take it so as to be duly represented?

From the above presentation where did the Ngwa people became greed and clannish?

Who are those more represented in the State since its creation wherein old Bende have produced 3 governors, Otti making it 4 while Ngwas have produced 1 governor?

Is Nigeria rulership wherein the North with nothing to contribute to this entity wants to take it all and still the less developed not typically displayed in Abia State?

Let the sane minds judge your reply.

Ps: Each time I look at Abia State, I see Nigeria in full display.

Ojiofor:
You started with insult and ended up writing an epistle to counter someone you consider as daft.
We all know how clannish Ngwa can be given any opportunity we will have another Ikwerre in Igboland to deal with just as you asserted.
Why should another Ngwa man replace another as governor in disregard to our culture of power rotation between Abia North,Abia Central and Abia South. After Ikpeazu's tenure power supposed to return to Abia North not Abia central. You guys think you are wise!
Aba state is not feasible in the nearest future as Nigeria is currently structured.Even if they want to create two more states from SE Aba state will not be among. If you create Aba state 9 LGAs will be gone with it,what will be left of Abia state?
As for Biafra I am not agitating neither I am expecting it will be actualized in the nearest future because realistically speaking, like Aba state it is not possible.
