Greetings to all the great people that kept this thread alive. It's been educating and motivating., with transcripts and helpful tips, I actually drew strength from here. I was denied, and a friend advised I check Nairaland, now I'm motivated to reapply. Please I'd appreciate if I can be put through the stages of reapplication as I used an agent earlier, but now I want to do it on my own. I'd be reapplying for an F1 visa, initial interview was Dec 7. My school resumes orientation on Jan 7 and starts class Jan 12. |

NONNYG: Wakanow dey mad at times, don't be surprised when u pay by 1am, after few minutes you will get a call from them that flight ticket has increased.
I read it in someone's thread about how it happened to him yet I still proceeded to book with waka, after few minutes dem call me o, say flight don add 20k, I go their site to confirm, still showing the initial price. So I insisted either they confirm my ticket or refund me, after like 7 hours, my ticked was confirmed
One thing abt wakanow is that they are legit but not straightforward.
Anyone trying to use them should think twice, cos those cheap tickets dey display are promo ticket & dey can never tell u. Hello Nonnyg. Pls check ur mail box, I sent a message there, I'll like to have ur view on some issues. Pls it's a bit urgent. Pls. Thanks |

NONNYG: Since someone has answered the first question. Over to the 2nd question, here in UAE women are given more priority over the male counterpart, but it still boils down to your experience, luck, prayer & absence of village People.
Men troops in mostly, so u shouldn't expect more testimonies from the women Ok... Now I get Thanks for your response. I really have to start binding my village people and their activities, cos suddenly the agent is refusing tp do ladies visa after I've paid! It's even funny is that a kind of "racism"? |

biazarre: . this yah question will make d gurus angry... all they will tell ya is to read d first 5,10 or 20 pages.. buh since I'm here... its ur lucky day.. u see, attestation simply means paying little amount at both d ministry of edu n foreign affaires... then a substantial 18k at UAE embassy... all is to stamp ur results at d back... I call it "tattooing ur certificate". and YES!! u have to do it for ur certificates to be recognised in UAE... but if u don't have any... den wat ar u waiting for? natty, justi n nonny ar waiting for u in UAE.. It's my lucky day! Thank you Biazarre, lemme do that right a way. My agent is scaring me though...he's making my pulse rate increase. The person helping me with the visa said the agent(apparently the person doing it for him) said he isn't working on ladies visa again, only God knows why, so he won't do mine. I have to look for another agent. That's actually the reason I asked about the ladies thing. |

NONNYG: If 2 questions, ask 1 now & 1 after visa is out Ok.. Please what's the attestation of documents you guys were talking about? The one done in Abuja? Will I have to do it too? And when should I? Then what's the chances for female? (Getting a job) Cos I've noticed its majorly men talking and sharing experiences here. Thanks |
