Have applied since july my application still says under review..though i know is not valid for my child biryh again but dont know why my application took so long

@justwise hello pls kindly need your advice am about applying to uk with my 2kids (4yrs n 6yrs) for short visit.got an invite from a friend there will be staying with them.pls my questions are do my kids apply separately and also my husband is a businessman and is the core sponsor for this trip.
