So true. Social media and freedom to "spread fake news" are responsible. Policy change could help forestall situations like this. Taxing, employment (bloggers spreading fake news are doing so cos means are tight), re-orientation on freedom of speech and probably punishment for mis-presenting and blatant abuse of freedom of speech. |
So WS means he didn't make those statements. Fake news for real |
Lolz. Sowore is that debater. I was marvelled when I listened to his speech at the "Village meeting" in OAU, last year. He touched every topic in that marvelous light. .. I don't even know how best to qualify his skill at this. I won't be surprised if the big contenders were scared and decided to excluded him. Cos Sowore will leave them scratching their heads. However, a protest in New York for a Nigerian thingy is rather inanimate. Bring it home |
The Igbo is real? Wow! The book is by far the best book ever written. As it was witty, fascinating, so did it teach high level morals with its expound spice of comedy. Times when I get bored, I re-read a page in the first chapter where he narrated the ordeal of Akara-Ogun - his neck was stretched, arms short, and as such the food supposed to get to his mouth gets gutted by his neck.... If you have the book, follow it hook to dinner, and as the narrator said, imagine yourself to be Akara-Ogun, the thrill you will get will be inexplicable. Bottomline, the novel remains the best for me Op please, where is it in Oke-Igbo? |
Edochi, we appreciate your view. Sowore, Durotoye...know very well they can not win, but they are contesting for the inherent benefit. With this, they've grown their political career, gained valuable networks to top them in politics. I won't be surprised if any of them contest for a lesser position soon and win, cos they're gaining popularity And PDP is what? You're Igbo, so you're PDP member. The fact that PRO has grounds in most states is one of many factors to determine the party to vote for. PDP was prominent too at the time of Jonathan, but we got APC. |
Harwoyeez:Please tell them |
This is a brilliant development and we hope the committee gives transparent review. Most clamour for increase in wage not knowing the resultant effect. Without proper review, increase would most likely mean inflation, unemployment and am evils attached to it. I'm quite sure less than 50% of Nigeria's working population is employed by the government and yet, increase in. govt workers wages will make inflate things for the whole economy (if proper macro economics is not played out). I'm not in any way opposing nor supporting wage increase either way. We all hope for better welfarism, Many Nigerians are favouring wage increase, and the increase Im sure will buy votes for APC. If the review is made and the minimum amount estimated is way less than the proposed 50k, the current administration should just withhold the information and claim there is some underlying issues. The chairman of the committee or anyone perceived to have insider will then give a statement to the media insinuating potential increase to 50k. The news will be circulated in the media....It might buy APC votes |

I don't see how securing second term comes to play with not attending military funeral. I need clarifications please, else I could term it another flaw sighted by Atiku and his band to critise the administration. Politics and politicians |
Really? I don't see how Nigerians are ingrate in mimicking your father. Someone should please educate this boy to stop whining and learn what social media is. And who is father help set? |
