You should go to their local government office closed to you not accredited agent they will handle it for you. If you can do it tomorrow better

You will see the specimen letter posted on their wall , they will direct you in the Nim office there, hope they have network so they can do it for you. They will give you date to come for the Nim slip and it is when the print out is done, that show that it was approved that you will request for validation
NB: If you have any other document that have the age hold it to the court affidavit, they might ask

To the best of my knowledge NIM validation after being acted upon is within 48 hours.
Validation is free, in my own case, the woman that attended to me in their Branch office asked me to go the head office or send my details to someone there to help me do it or if I don't have anyone I should buy card for her to help me send the details to her contact in head office to validate it for me, of which I agreed that should send it. I gave her #500 for recharge card and was very happy and the validation was successful after just two days

Head office does not mean it must be Abuja. Their main office in your state is where they will tell you they can validate it. In my case I made the complain in their office close to my place the woman that attended to me ask if I know anyone in the head office I should forward my details to the person to validate it for me that it's free but if I don't know anyone that I should give her card to help me send it to her contact, that was how I gave her #500 for recharge card and she was very happy

What can I do if NIMC refuses to validate my name correction for the past five months. My capturing appointment is few days away. I have tried reaching them through their emails but not going through (the mails queued up). The NIMC official who did ithe correction for me for me wants me to pay 3k for the validation which I do not want to pay because it defeats the essence of my long time waiting (five months). How do I reach them at the top ?

Go to any nearby NIMC office in your area and tell them that you want to validate your nim, that it has not be validated after you change your names. They will tell you you that it can only be done in the head office that you should go there or found them something so that they will help you send your details to head office for validation and i think any amount to #500 will be ok

It is normal, sometimes it can validate immediately or it might take one three working days before validating, even up to a week. My own happened like that, though I was worried too.

My guarantor took the form himself to the commissioner of oath and I just want to confirm if this is how the stamp and signature going to look like and is it compulsory he fill those blank space? Because he only filled is name, residential address and signature
