I'm going to go out on a limb and presume that you didn't format the card on the phone before using it. Formatting on a PC before sticking it in your phone doesn't count.

Possible solution.

Back up the data on the card and insert on your phone. Use the phone to format the card, and then use like that.

Precautions

- Avoid using the PC to format the card.
- Avoid removing the microSD from your phone without unmounting the card or turning the phone off completely.

I actually formatted the card on my Phone before use.

I want you to understand the problem please: It keeps requesting this formatting every single time I reboot my phone.

If I don't reboot, no issues.
But once I reboot, the issue resurfaces.


I also did not format the card via PC at all. Before rebooting, I connected my phone to the PC to transfer files to the phone (not SD card) and was then able to see the memory capacity of the card in "This PC" view.

I'm looking for a permanent fix as not rebooting my phone again is not feasible.

Please I'm in a dilemma.

I got a new SD card recently and I out it in my RN10P and was using it smoothly, but everytime I reboot my phone, It always tells me to format the SD card.

It has happened over 3 times now. I looked online on Reddit here https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/rwln17/redmi_note_10_external_sd_card_problems/ but there's no apt solution to it.

Please help me with a fix.
PS: SD card is in good condition, confirmed via Windows PC analytics

I honestly don't know. It depends on market prices and tbh I don't keep an eye on such.

I know of someone who had to import a brand new Legion 5 Pro Gen 6 which more than exceeds the above spec. That was for 1.3m naira. I presume minimal 400k if spent well. It could be for less as I don't know the second hand market in Nigeria.

One reason to watch and read reviews is for the actual performance of the laptop. Throttling, total power provided to the GPU can affect performance. Also build quality can be an issue. Look out for the generation of the CPU.

A gaming laptop with your budget may not be able to run 2021/2022 AAA games at best settings
If you’re willing to play most at 720p or 900p to get a good frame rate, then it’s good.
Best to check the gameplay for your preferred laptop specs before purchase.
Foreign used:
A laptop with Nvidia 1650 would cost above 350k
1060 would cost above 330k
1050ti would cost above 250k
970M above 250k
960M above 230k
To summarize the best for your 250k budget is Hp Omen 2017 edition with 1050ti
Followed by lenovo y700 with 960m
If you can creep above your budget with like 20-40k
Or wait to see a good deal to get the ones below, they are usually below 300k
Dell Inspiron 15 7*** gaming series with 1050ti
Hp pavilion 15 gaming with 1050ti
Acer Nitro 5 with 1050ti
Asus ROG G series with 970m
Asus TUF and Strix with 1050ti
Alienware 15 R2 with 970m
300k can get 970m or 1050ti
Which is like the sweet spot for gaming.
Like if you have 300k, you’ll be presented with a lot of choices (brands) but limited to the decent graphics card(970m-1050ti)which is still relevant, but that 250k is more like you’re scavenging.
I won’t recommend anything below 940MX, except it’s light gaming or just for graphics work.
You can check out Dell precision 15 5510 or Dell precision m3800/m4800 with Nvidia Quattro which is below 240k
I have seen Nigerian used gaming laptops with 970m and 1050ti go below 200k but they usually have one or two issues, could be cosmetic damages, keyboard, majorly dead battery or all.
A graphics laptop below 200k with give you Nvidia 840/860 series. But foreign used, like the ones below.

Like I said earlier, best to watch gameplay and reviews of gaming laptops before you purchase.

For the budget you called - you will need second hand. I do not know any second hand sellers. I advise watching Jarrod's reviews to see how the laptop performs or other good gaming laptop reviewers. Best of luck.
