Three years after marrying a 14 year old Egyptian girl named Marian, former Zamfara state governor and serving senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, Sen. Ahmed Yerima, has divorced her to marry a younger girl, reports provide. According to the information available, Sen. Yerima and four men, said to be members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly were in Egypt a few weeks ago for the wedding fathia of a new bride. It has been learnt that the girl is 15 years old. Mr. Yerima has one child from Marian, who is 17 now. The reason he divorced her is to enable him take a new wife as he's not allowed more than 4 wives. The Senator is alleged to have married and divorced a few women in the last few years but has never changed his first three wives, only the fourth ones. It would be recalled tha Sen. Ahmed Yerima this year was strongly against the deletion of the section of the 1999 constitution which pegged the official marriage age in Nigeria as 18 year, saying it was anti-Islam. |

I was at the headquarters,precisely 6th floor(DGs office) to push mine. Afterwards, I made an enquiry to confirm this piece of misleading rumour and ws told its not true, that the council will have to meet first. So comrades, let's kip hoping and praying. All thesame I congratulate Obiano Απϑ especially Peter Obi, for he has successfully made himself a political Godfather. |

Are there no poorly equipped health centres/hospitals in anambra or oda PDP states? Have there been cases of insecurity in anambra or religious bigotry in oda PDP controlled states? Come on Gratiaeo, even the BEST STATE has huge elements to underdevelopment. Am not saying APC governors are EXCELLENT, however, they are not as BAD as pple paint them. I thought anambrarians were politically enlightened,instead of voting personality for change, they decided to take themselves backward by voting a Obis puppet(Obiano). Talking about past achievements and the passion to work for anambra state, Obiano cannot be compared to Ifeanyi Uba, no to talk of Chris Ngige. If they don't wanto vote for Ngige for fear of Tinubu and Buhari; may I ask, since Rochas defected to APC, how many times did Tinubu or Buhari visit Imo state. Is anambra "FAR" better than †ђξ worst APC state in †ђξ "WEST"? Its obvious that there are few elected voters in anambra state. I wish them d best as in the next 8YEARS of backwardness & underdevelopment. NDI ANAMBRA KWENU!!!! |
