I'm just being proactive. Haven't been called for the test yet, but no harm in preparing early for it.

Guyman,

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord; he shall be as a tree planted in the river banks with roots that reach down deep into the river. He will not know when the drought comes or be burnt by the heat of the sun. He shall continue producing delicious fruits always!

That's the word of God, and that's what you need.

coolguyB,

You didn't say whether or not we are to submit our applications to the scholarship board before the interview day or just hold it and take it to them for the first time on the interview day

Guys,

About the commonwealth scholarship interviews, are we to submit our applications before the interview or just take them along with us to Abuja as said in the dailies? Will they be able to screen and interview EVERY applicant from a particular zone in one day? Some people work and traveling to Abuja and not getting interviewed on the said day will not be a very good idea. Why can't we just submit our applications and they screen people and invite others for interviews?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Oando, Etb & Chevron, Which Should I Accept by justnice: 7:02pm On Sep 14, 2007
First of all, do you have job offers from all three companies? If yes then take Chevron. Everyone's saying think about your career path, but I think otherwise. I read computer science and i'm working as a drilling engineer and loving it. Chevron WILL give you a more satisfying all round career than any of the other two. Whether you are an engineer, accountant, IT specialist, or whatever, you'll definitely get a good career in Chevron. Then there's the money!!! I'd choose 200k over a "career" in Nigeria. Get the money, be focused, plan for your future, get certifications, get the career of your dreams afterwards.
Romance / Re: I'm Scared That He Might Be Keeping Another Woman by justnice: 3:29pm On Mar 13, 2007
I've never seen any topic get these much responses from Nairalanders. An advice for you though, if he was calling frequently and all of a sudden stops calling (and its not a result of money shortage) then the alarm bells are high! Take it from a man. Long distance relationships have this problem in common.
