I appeal to you all to halt this protest for now because of 2019 budget that will be effective from July 'next month', it might be the reason why DPR has not placed calls on lucky applicants. Please let's give them some time rather than embarking on protest that will jeopardize their reputations.

Fire from above will definitely come down on those who are against our protest. We should all be ashamed of ourselves by now
when 2016 recruitment is heading to 2020 with even the aim of conducting another recruitment. We called DPR on air (DPR half hour) radio Nigeria program, we were told to constantly check our portal for update. Up til now nothing show up.

The DPR has not made contact with successful candidates.
Anyone that claims to have received APL may have gotten theirs through a sponsor.
Letters has been dispatched to zonal offices.
Few persons were contacted two days ago to verify some details.
You guys can go ahead with the protest if nothing happens by June 30th.
Like I said, some have promised to testify.

At the same time, I will not be surprised if some people decide not to come here to testify, thus, just a few testimony. Cos some people will label them SH candidates (which may not be true) and accuse them of stealing their slots/position.

Findings:

1) Expect calls today, tomorrow through First week of July.
We hope so too that by tomorrow Friday we will know how far. Seems you are now the new MARVEL for July cos even the Marvel of old has nothing to do with July.

2) To answer your questions, letters are being sent to other offices. You don't expect someone residing in Kaduna to come pick up APL in Lagos, do you?
From what we saw last time, The APLs were sent after calls were made and in some instances they were asked where they would want to collect their letters. Except if you are saying calls have already been made?

3) July 22nd is the earliest date for resumption. There is a window for resumption after this date and a specified date after which the appointment is regarded forfeited if no show.
Hope you will still keep your word on the evidence after tomorrow, cos its almost certain it will be same story.

You are right,that is why I told them their protest is dead on arrival.letters should have reached their various destinations by now,so what recruitment are they still talking about.As far as Dpr is concerned they are done with the 2016 recruitment.

Hi guys,
The TMC has come and gone without the issue of the 2016 recruitment spoken of or about, however it's known knowledge that APLs have been sent across for dispatch since yesterday. Personally, I feel today's TMC delayed the calls from coming.
There can't be any alteration (replacement or substitution) at this point, so it's just down to convenience at the moment.
There's a way things work at this end, so you guys wanting to go on a protest should pls take a chill... What is yours, is already yours.

Why are you people like this?, I wonder what you guys are thinking ranting about protest , 5000 people applied for a job and only 500 were needed and you didn't get the job, so you feel you deserved to be called or you're better than those that got it right?. I don't understand were you all expecting to get APLs. The better we get this straight and move on, not everyone was meant to get the job period, protest from now till thy kingdom come it won't make every one work with DPR

Some have received positive feedback since last week and they are preparing to resume next month.
You don’t have to worry about me after June 30th. It will be my last here.

If you don't have Twitteraccount, sign up now because it's free. If after tomorrow nothing happens, we will engage them massively on Twitter. This nonsense must stop! If just a 100 of us can engage government and other media handles on Twitter, see ehh, something definitely will be said about this recruitment. We have nothing to lose but they have their reputation to lose.

I Support you on this, its laughable really. That's why I don't support any more delays.

But I stand on my 1st/2nd week of July for an official update in our portals. Regret mails won't be sent cos it will implicate the powers that be cos some have already resumed. Instead, there'll be a massive shut down or error messages, while all successful will get their portals updated.

Post your phone conversation with Shakur where he told you that our portals will be updated 1/2nd week of July or forever hold your prediction safe on your memory card .
