I would like to ask you about a diversity visa.

I got my dv visa in 2016, on my application i included my son, so i filled a ds260 for him. my question. i want to start to process him to come to the USA with his mother, do i have to petition for him and the mother or i only petition for the mother only?

your advise will be of great help.

I attended the interview in May on the 6th. but after the dates remained the same for the past 100 days until on 12.08.2016 the dates only changed but the AP remained. so do the dates imply anything. when i wrote to the embassy they continue saying am still undergoing AP. so do dates have any meaningful translation.

After my interview in May. my case was put on AP and there was no any status update since. on Friday last week i saw a status update. Does the update have any meaningful message. please help me to understand the change in dates on my case.

Am a Dv winner,completed my interview in May. since Ive been on AP about to make 100 days. the reason for the AP academic paper verification. does it take this long to verify such documents? Or AP involves a complete haul in the review of the application. i will be greatly honored to have an answer.

Am wondering why is it that verification of academic documents take so long at the embassy. i thought since these are documents issued by a countries national body an embassy can easily verify such documents easily. this is my 5th week on AP in Kenya and i have also an Ethiopian friend who has been on Ap for 196 days to verify his university certificates. we are wondering can the reasons be stated on 221g pink paper be different from what they are looking for during the further processing time. Can a CO state a reason on 221g form like verify educ documents and instead they look for something different? i mean we are wondering

If a Consulate talks about verifying a document. for example Academic from a national examination. does that process take a long time. or the embassy experts independently verify the documents

am posting from East Africa, I know u may or may not have the info i wish to have but am sure u have dealt with my kind of situation. I was put on Ap early May, And the VO told me to wait because they have to Verify my O and A Level academic credentials. my simple question in cases to do with academic papers whats the timeline u can guess is given to such cases. if possible please dont give the usual answer coz i know u have dealt with such cases and u know how the system works.
