Please I need your help too, I want ro invest in the legacy MMF but lack concrete knowledge about their interest rates and how it’s been paid. Is it daily like Stanbic IBTC MMF and how many percent pls?

They pay intrest daily as any other fund manager.. There percentage is not terribly bad.. The only thing is poor customer care but once I shoot mail to the head quarter in Lagos abi na Abuja in few second they take action

I kuku ask them for any reialible customer care link or number them no gree answer...

But make serious finding before investing your hard earned fund with them sir

You have to select reinvest at the beginning. Mine was reinvested and my top ups are usually updated the next working day. And I'm able to do all that on my FCMB app. I do the dividend withdrawal or top ups on the FCMB app easily... Inside the " Investments" option - "Mutual Fund".... The proceed to do your thing....

Thank you very much for your feedback sir. I had to shoot them an email today around 12 and the cash was instantly dropped into my FCMB account.. although i had to transfer the fund to my opay. i usually top up with my opay account sir. once again thank you for taking you time to respond sir

Please, make una help me. I don't know how to redeem my cash from FCMB (Legacy Money Market Fund). My dividend was deposited (profit or interest) as cash. It was not reinvested . And I want to withdraw the fund into my bank account, but I can't find the options

No MMF allows monthly withdrawal, even Stanbic. When it comes to paying out of interest, it is quarterly for all, including Stanbic.

Now, understand this: what Stanbic does is that they reinvest your accrued interest monthly if you pick interest reinvestment. You can now decide to withdraw your interest anytime you wish. Otherwise, if you select interest payout, it's quarterly, you get your accrued interest paid to your account automatically. So, if you wish to withdraw your interest monthly, then select reinvestment of interest, as this is how all of them operate. The only difference is that others only reinvest interest quarterly, but all pay interest automatically every quarter.

The interest gets added on Monday for the weekends. I fund mine easily from my FCMB account that is linked to my portfolio. It reflects within 5 to 48 working hours.

I use FCMB's Legacy MMF too .. and I tend to get the accrued interest added at night everyday.

I've noticed that they rarely update interest on weekends, and even during the weekdays it sometimes during midnight as you said. Also, could you share how you fund your account and how long it takes for the money to reflect? Thank you!

I guess I am the only one using the legacy (FCMB) MMF. Their platform isn’t very consistent because they don’t update or upload accrued interest daily by 11 AM. I don’t know why.

I’m uncertain about how long it typically takes for my MMF fund manager to credit my MMF account after a transfer. I use the legacy fund (FCMB), and it has been over 30 hours now. The customer service has been quite frustrating, as they rarely respond. I have sent an email and a WhatsApp message to the Assistant Client Administrator, but I have yet to receive a reply.

I guess am using the wrong fund manger seriously, time to switch to Gtbank

On October 1, 2025, at approximately 4:00 PM, I initiated a transfer of 100,000 Naira. Unfortunately, during the transaction, I mistakenly used "C2500922" as the narration instead of my correct MMF account number, which is LMMF01****7001


Despite the transaction being successful from my end, the amount has not yet been reflected in my account.
