Good morning to all chiefs on the forum, please I have a quick question that actually gave a sleepless night.

I just got 4 pieces 180 watts solar panels (30 VOC and 7. 6 Amp) all connected in parallel to my MPPT solar controller with my batteries too connected in parallel (12V)




But to my greatest surprise those panels are producing "24volt and 3.4a and just 60 watt max"


Please what could be wrong cause this strange to me oooooh atleast thou this is my first time of using MPTT

Please you guys should help settle an argument a 12voltage system with an MPPT controller..


Which solar panel is best and efficient, a 12volt panel or 24 voltage panel....


I leave the answer to the elder to judge

The best you could hope for is to run some very low wattage (not even up to 100w) DC load off the DC load section off your solar charge controller or... getting elcheapo inverter (see attached image) pending when you are good for getting a better one?

Note: Don't run DC voltage for AC appliance. Not a good idea.

All the appliance are actually DC 12v

500 *30= 15000 at least you can use it for data subscription or other miscellaneous expenses

Chemistry is actually compulsory I used to be in that person shoes some years go.. I had to even defer my admission after securing admission to make up my defiency in chemistry.

Used lead acid battery is not, most of the time a good buy. Those batteries are already on a decline.
