The versions are simply what they are- versions. The original exists and exists in the original languages they were written in. The old testament was written in Hebrew, while the New Testament was written in Greek. Their combination is called the SEPTUAGINT, which is the original and out of which several translated came.

The several versions you see today were translated from the SEPTUAGINT e.g King James version, new translation etc. It is similar to translating it into different languages. Anyone can do it. And if you find any part of the versions questionable, you are to refer to the SEPTUAGINT.

So, tell your Al taquiya imams, whenever they want to lie that the Bible is fake, that the boriginal exists and it is called the Holy SEPTUAGINT.
But the big question is: why does it exist in versions? Why do I have to go and start searching for SEPTUAGINT when it should be handy in all respect?

I put it to u again that if u can stand d brute, u have no reason to start crying to d mod. Everyone has d rule 2 button but most of us don't give a damn about it cos reporting to d mod is nothing but a sign of serious pain. Operating an alternate handle shows nothing but joblessness. Go and get a job and stop jumping from one thread to the other on different handles insulting boys/men on one hand and seeking favour on the other. Good ladies are on this forum and from their posts, such can be deduced. Even writing in simple correct English is a problem. Infact, I'm tired of correction cos I'm not to teach basic English here.

What an illiterate and brainwashed fellow.

How can a photocopy and plagiarist Quran be original than the ORIGINAL books it copied?

Do you know that the old testament existed over 1000yrs before the Mohammed was born, and the Bible entirely was compiled 500yrs before the Quran? Yet, you believe they are wrong but the newcommer called Quran, which plagiarised them, is the right book. Mugu grin

Pls, stop swallowing the trash your cunning Imams dish out to you in your mosques.
Which of the versions of the Bible is d original? because I understand that there are more than a thousand versions now. Book that is dominated by; The gospel according to this and that, u dare call it original. Why are the writers always upgrading it like Windows operating system?

Lol! You mean the farce of a book filled with the most subjective mainstream misconceptions of the infidels which is available for free online and on amazon? Muslims scared of reading that pile of winnits? Do you know how many times a clueless plonker thought he wrote a book that will supress islam? Small fry its impossible. Unlike christianity whose very whole book, the funny bible is its undoing!

@ d topic, dat is d way of d infidels. They are being threatened with d way muslims are consistently minding their business and dat is d more reason u see dem unnecessarily dragging Islam into some issues. A pastor is involved in rapping a minor, their explanation is: muslims are worse. The most beautiful one among them abuse cucumber, their response is: muslims girls marry early. Married woman is caught in a marathon se.x with man in hotel, their response: muslims are hypocrites. A pastor is involved in robbery, the explanation: Alhajis are worse. Pastor involved in human ritual, the defence is: Alhajis buy human parts. Their ladies are walking the streets unclad soliciting 4 se.x in exchange for materials: the explanation is: hijab wearing ladies are worse. Hahahahahahahahaha grin grin grin grin these infidels no go take laff kill me. My joy is dat muslims are reading all these but they simply laugh and carry on still minding their business as usual. cheesy

Is there any religion that competes with christianity when it comes to terrorism? The cause of sickness is what the doctors attack not the symptoms. Christianity is responsible for over 98% of religious crisis in Nigeria.

Its boring because you're sexist and refuse to accept it. You keep attacking the messenger and not the message. And your assertion that because someone is a husband, a wife should follow him blindly is just plain silly. A man does not just attain ultimate wisdom by virtue of signing on the dotted lines and becoming a husband.

Respect is earned its not naturally endowed.
Madam, the circus is too boring and as I have been saying, it centres around respect, which is apparently lacking in u and which from all indication, u might have been exhibiting in ur husband house (if u are married) or which u will certainly take to his house (if u will get one).
Ur claim that respect is earned is very lame if u cannot explain to me which ways exactly women show respect to their husbands. Some of u think gender equality is synonymous with. fighting for superiority with ur husbands. This is how some gullible and easily misguided women will take this rubbish to their houses and when they loose their marriages, they start blaming one innocent girl in the neighbourhood or start attaching it to one innocent spirit or even start blaming the devil. Some will even say it is the mothers in law, hehehehe. That is the trouble Aisha has thrown herself now and which, if care is not taken may cost her the position she presently occupies. I wonder how taking the decision of a man out of respect by his wife amounts to blindness. U can get married and keep challenging ur husband in court whenever ur decision is in conflict with him just to ensure that urs prevail but I will tell u that it is only an idiot that will call u his wife since u have the final say in the house. Anyway, bye, I'm tired of all this circus.

U may not know me and I don't know u either but u need to understand that nobody wants to be associated with failure. Do u know how to identify one? Just pass through any of these slums like Ajegunle, Ijora Badia etc. U will come across different kind of people, wearing different kind of looks on their faces. Some of those looks are gloomy, despair, dejected, pathetic etc. Still, u will come across happy looking faces. These happy looking faces are fully aware that their neighbours are not responsible for their poor economic situations. But u see those other faces, they have the feelings that even goats have contributed to their plight and it is them that are always insulting everybody in authority. Yes, some successful peeps may have grouse with the govt policies but since they are destined to be successful, they try to explore other avenues and life goes on as usual. If u check very well, u will find out that majority of people who verbally attack govt officials (not politicians) are unsuccessful and very frustrated. character they say can never be hidden, I know if it were to be me that made those statements, I would have been banned from this forum till next year, he is from the north so is the mod you mentioned, the mods cannot say they are not aware of kabrud's uncouth display of stupidity on this thread, but they choose to look the other way, but atleast reasonable people are reading and can see for themselves the mental state of these so called e-defenders, as for modath, she has been uncouth and insulting in her comments, all I see is birds of a feather flocking on this thread
Funny how people who take delight in insulting the president and by extension, the nation are the ones calling for ban. Very funny. If the mods actually have to take into cognisance the consequences of what some posters on this forum post, some monikers need to be completely deregistered cos it seems some of them are already on oath to ensure that the image of this country is dragged to the mud. It is not surprising cos some of them are not actually Nigerians by parents and as such, the saying that blood is thicker than water is naturally the driving force. If there is anything the management of nairaland needs to look into, I think it is those blatant display of hatred for the progress of this country exhibited by these miscreants. There is no Nigerian who is not feeling the impact of the economic downturn but anyone who is legitimately engaged in something reasonable wouldn't feel it much and has no reason for consistently wishing this country bad. But those whose sources of livelihood are quite illicit (directly or indirectly) are the ones doing everything possible within their means to bring this country down. But nature has a way of doing things, they will continue to wail till thy Kingdom come and that shall be their portion. Criticism is not the same as insulting people in authority but since some people are so frustrated that they now reason with their anus, they think the other innocent Nigerians are responsible for their frustration. I therefore call on the good Nigerians on this forum to take note of this moniker and always be watchful of its posts.

Based on Buhari's comment, you'd know he has the "I know it all attitude" so I guess he deserves it.
Call it whatever you want, but it's not a coincidence that he won the election when he partnered with people( including Aisha)
So if she's lashing out then it means he's deviating from the agreed plan.
Which agreed plan? The plan of appointing Tinubu's loyalists against the other Nigerians?
