LuckyWinner: Stay there and be wishing yourself bad luck. So you think that because you had excellent evidence, other type of evidence shouldn't be considered? Unilever is looking for key things beyond excellent. Anyone who had seen the questions beforehand can easily get excellent evidence. I believe there is more to this interview... so stop wishing those who got another type of evidence apart from 'excellent' bad luck. Please, to all those indicted... stay hopeful and keep praying. Excellent ko.. excellent ni please, no need to be aggressive on her. The thoughts are mine and she should not be attacked for it. we are all speculating here based on what we think and the facts on ground. you too could be right. |

Viburnum: If I understand you correctly, those with other types of evidence (competent, good e.t.c) have no chance if "excellent evidence" is the best response in comparison to the predefined answer sets... So since the competition has become "intense", why then would any other type of evidence be considered if it is not excellent
Just trying to make sense of the quoted.. Will appreciate it if you follow my trend of thought and help me understand.. Thanks in advance... My dear, you right on point. well, that's really what i think based on the facts on ground. note: only those with the excellent evidence feedback have the phrase "we are now reviewing your digital response and will give you a feed back shortly (paraphrased)". |

Now, here's my view on the interview and their outcomes.
1. The outcome of the video interview is automated. I think the digital app has a software that produces a result depending on your response to the set questions (in other words, it compares the response to the question against a standard and then produce a feedback).
2. "Excellent evidence" is the best comparism between one's response and the set standard on which the software operates. When you get an excellent feedback, your video response is then further reviewed by a real person (HR).
3. A third mail is received depending how the HR assess your video interview. You get a regret mail if you were unable to convince them and if you were able to convince them, you are put on hold (expect a success mail later).

OgidiOlu3: I did Access too, wasted time and money going for different stages only to be kicked out after an interview with top management which went seemingly well. The annoying thing was the excuses I had to give at work just to attend their interviews.
Lola800 and others that have gotten rejection mails, don't despair. Good jobs will come eventually. The good side is you already know your fate unlike the rest of us that are drowning in anxiety. Now, you can channel your energy to other great things.
Good luck to everyone!
PS: In as much as this video interview saves time and energy, I think I still prefer a real interview or at worst, a Skype interview. At least, you'll get to see your interviewers faces. well said bro. I however heard that a one on one interview is part of their one day assessment center. U'd still get that which u prefer...smiles...I hope we get to that stage. All the best guys. |

shybelle: Awwww, Lola don't feel bad. I same feedback almost immediately (about 10-15 mins). I was heartbroken cos i was already in love with the company. Just let it go and try other good orgs. All the best.
Forgot to add this, i did not cry but tears rolled down my cheeks and i was down almost the whole day but I know why i didn't do well and i am over it now. I'm so sorry dear. Felt this way wen i missed out on access bank and flour mills Nigeria (after spending so much on their various stages. Unlike Unilever, one had to travel to lag for each of these companies recruitment process (usually 4 to 5 processes) at his/her own expense). And i got kicked out at the finals. No real reasons were given. Any ways, that's past now but ive learnt not to give up and the Truth is, we got to trust that God knows beta. I believe there's a place for all of us. U will find urs soon. |
