CrystalTiger:Of course, they are side talks. They are really coward who can't face me boldly. As for Zagadou, I saw him in Dortmund vs Bayern in the previous match and he looked quality in the match before yesterday game. I searched for his individual highlight but didn't see one except for his compilation highlight. I'm still positive on him though. The talent is definitely in there. |
GloryIsaac:Compilation highlight are the ones that could be deceitful, not each game highlight. For example, if you watched Mbappe touches against us, you would realise he had a poor game based on the touches he had in the highlight clip. I have judged several players through this way. In fact, I would say I haven't seen Zagadou's individual highlights in a game but just his compilation clip and also, the last match against Bayern where I noticed that he looked good. I'm still positive on him because he looked good against Bayern in the last match before yesterday. |
As for the side talks from the useless coward nonentities who can't face me squarely, keep with the side talks. If you can't face me, then you remain a bastard. ABC! |
Lana1:Lol. You don't know the meaning of "hardly played"? Now, I know your village people is unto you already. They obviously have seen you're like-minded like them. Bitter dingbat. Lol |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqvLRFHh_N4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejSYBzhqm5E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i65DbcKUXoY So filthy. Always acting foul tempered too. The Espanyol one was even the funniest where he just ignored Sarri while he was talking to him. No wonder his coach doesn't seem to like him. But who cares as long as he does his job on the pitch. He Has got lethal shots too. |
Lana1:You're the one pained and bitter because I have got lot of things right on this forum. Poole and Harrop has shown they can compete among the lads in EPL the moment they looked fantastic against City and crystal palace respectively! Enough said! |
Lana1:Ceballos hardly play as no 10 unlike Pogba. He plays as a central midfieder. How dumb can you be? Despite this and his lack of game times or match fitness, he still almost equal Pogba's goal. Harrop was the best player on the pitch for us, Poole was his team's best defender against a quality City side. Enough said already. |
Tbh, Sancho looks good. What I love about Sancho and Ounas is the fact that theiy operate on just touch and control on the ball while sweeping past opponents and not just trickery like some players tend to do (cough cough Mbappe) And I'm not talking about using pace to exploit the opponent cos all of the aforementioned players often utilise their pace to their advantage whenever they see enough spaces to exploit but what I'm particular with is that Sancho and Ounas hardly make any stupid step over or some trickery but just operate on pure touch and control while manoeuvring through the opposition. Whereas Sancho seems to slow down on his speed after taking on one opponent and can't seem to take on more than one opponent, Ounas can go batshit crazy against several opponents while only operating on just touch and control. Ounas is simply filthy. I have taken time to watch each match highlights and touches of his, rather than watch his compilation video which could be decorated to make a player look good than they are but from each match highlights, he's been purely fantastic. His vision, movement, linkup play, spatial awareness are just so good that I don't see why he isn't starting every match for Napoli. It's either Ancelotti is stupid which isn't surprising because Ancelotti hardly love playing young players especially the ones he didn't sign and when you consider the fact that he has to give playing time to his grannies that cost him a lot of money or maybe Ounas hasn't stopped his trouble making ways. Even in the Sassuolo match where he was the best player on the pitch, he was still subbed off which is stupid. I learnt that he's a trouble kid who once clashed with his coach at Bordeaux and that started his troubles at Bordeaux and from what I've seen in most of his clip, he's foul tempered and always mouthing off at opponent but we can say that's passion, right? Personally, I don't care as long as he does his work on the pitch and I haven't seen where he has failed to do so. He seems to be a player who loves to play football with passion as seen by how he work tirelessly to recover the ball and also provide options for his team mates by always making himself available. Sometimes, he would often drop deep in front of Napoli defence to help to build up the play. I watched the Sassuolo, Espanyol, Benin, Gambia etc highlight and everything looks the same. I mean, he's looks the same in every game while doing his fantastic crazy stuff on the pitch. He's similar to Arjen robben with the way he moves on the ball. Ounas and Sancho also operates on intelligence like Mbappe. They always know when to take on opponents and when to pass. They tend to make right decision most of the time and have got good vision but I think Ounas edge it with his constant throughballs through the lines whereas the other two often deals in cut back and Crosses. Another is our very own Chukwueze. He's got fantastic touch and control also. And his movement looks good as well as his linkup play. Any of these three guys I don't mind but I prefer Ounas out of them all cos he would come on cheap and he's so silky and smooth on the ball. I also love the fact that he works hard to recover balls on the wing. How a tiny player like that could do that remains a misery. Bitter Lana1, I have come again. Go and knock your head on a rock. |
Lana1:No be you first quote me to spew your bitterness! As if I was the one who asked Mourinho to fail with Pogba, mkhi, Sanchez and all. Lol. You're a raving lunatic who has got nothing to offer. I wonder who let you out of your Yaba cage. |
Lana1:Ceballos hardly start for Madrid yet has scored almost the half of Pogba who is our penalty specialist and has had played as no 10 on many occasions. That should cure your madness already. Lol. Fact is Poole is doing well for his club and was his team's best defender against a world-class city side. Put him in a quality team and he would do wonders. Likewise Harrop who was our best player on the pitch for us. Fact is the quality is quite visible to the eyes. I have been proven right many times on here which is the cold fact! You on the other hand have got nothing to offer. Yeye bitter eediot! |
See below Lana1. Don't run away yet. Stupid bitter thing as yourself is a disgrace. Na you go tire. I dey wait for you. Oloriburuku somebodi.
|
Lana1:Lol. Check my tagline on Depay. I curse out his name more than anyone else on here especially when he was building up muscle on his non agilie body but I can see he would do a job for us as a central striker cos you don't need to have quality control on the ball before turning into one as long you have a solid first touch, good movement, good decision making and strength, you're good to go and I saw this in Depay You're really going mad right now. Ceballos scored for Madrid in the previous game and was one of the best player for Madrid in that match before the last Saturday match yet the coach still benched him just to make way for Modric and Isco in the team. There's nothing he can do about his name which isn't as popular as big names such as Kroos, Isco and Modric. He can only wait and bid his time. Harrop was our best player when he played for us. He's currently injured and out of the season. Poole looked great against city side. As for you, you haven't proven anything right except to show your bitterness. Lol. You go dey alright las las |
Lana1:Lol. Even in the attachment I showed you, I was still harping on the fact that he shouldn't be deployed as a winger. No one said Mbappe is average but his ball control which doesn't stop him from being a good striker. Costa didn't have fantastic ball control but was a good striker in his prime.. Van De Beek and Maddison scored yesterday. A worthless bitter Lana1 is so pained because I got it right than his foolish self. ![]()
|
Btw Poole had no foul. He won all his ball cleanly, completed his dribbles and progressed the play better than his teammates who were shitting their pant and couldn't do anything with the ball. I bet he would have completed higher percentage of passes if he had team mates who wanted the ball like himself but they were all hiding and shitting their pant. Poole to the world! A worthless bitter Lana1 is pained cos he's never been right for once in his life! ![]() |
Lana1:Lol. Ntoor. You have got nothing to substantiate your stupid claim. I may have indulged A40 cos he's likeable and we were just having fun with it but I won't indulge a bitter worthless goat as you. Sink that into your Ibadan skull. Yeye dey smell. |
Another one here. The lying Dumbo, Lana1, can you see this and cure your stupidity? Fact is I did rate Mbappe. I know the reason why I indulged A40 due to the way he demeaned Lemar all because I compared Mbappe's style of play to that of Lemar. I had opined on here that we shouldn't sign Lemar because of the average season he had in a depleted Monaco side last season. But I just had to defend him because a40 was bigging up Mbappe as if he's once in generation talent that shouldn't be compared eventhough I was only comparing their playing style. His ball control still needs to be refined. But as for you, you're not only stupid but worthless dingbat! Sink that into your skull. Dullardin..ho feeling funky. Nairaland is becoming something else. Why change du..llardinho to Buhari?
|
Lana1:Lol. Look closely at the attachment below and use your brain if you had one while looking at it to see if I didn't rate Mbappe. A40 knew why I had that discourse with him on that. I was comparing Lemar having a similar style to Mbappe but he was so quick to say I shouldn't compare Lemar to Mbappe which made me to go hard on him because I wasn't comparing how far they have gone in their development in the first place but just their similar style. If your stupid self had seen my first attachment, you would see where I opined that Lemar had a poor season at Monaco hence we shouldn't go in for him eventhough it was due to the fact that Monaco was depleted. I already opined that we shouldn't go for him until he rediscover his form, which was before Atletico signed him. The problem is when foolish people as yourself don't know the reason for an argument but due to your bitterness, brings up your stupidity to stink up the whole joint. Lol You're only disgracing yourself here lol. Go and fight Whoscored who highlighted Poole as Newport's best defender on the night against City. Anyone who watched the the match knew Poole was fantastic except stupid people like yourself who has no brain cells that can process simple information. No wonder you jumped into a stupid conclusion that I didn't rate Mbappe all because I had argument with A40 on it. There are aspect I don't like in Mbappe's game and I still don't think he deserves the wage he's on but I have always rated him based on his movement and decision making and I even opined that he could be the best forward if he eventually tailored his game into a central striker role. If Depay could do it and I even suggested that Depay would do better playing as a central striker despite his average skill, why would I have problem with Mbappe as a central forward, even if he doesn't have the best ball control out there? That I had to wash him up because A40 jumped into a conclusion that I was saying Lemar was already as good as Mbappe whereas I was only talking about their similar playing style doesn't mean I didn't rate Mbappe. That was why I had to dig into Mbappe weakness which is ball control whereas Lemar is far better in that aspect of the game. We already hashed out this point already before a Dumbo like yourself is now rehearsing the stale gist. You're very stupid and it's even an understatement. Na that bitterness go kill you soon. Fact is I have been proven right more than your accursed self. Stick that into your ass!
|
engrelvis:Yes. But some coach don't like trying out new things. It's either you're what you were signed up for or just fvck off. For example, Depay was a left forward in the Dutch league before he was signed hence, lots of people see him as a player who should be played on the wing despite his average close control. If he had a good agility regardless of his average close control like Zaha, it could have worked out fine but Depay's agility isn't the best around. Also, we didn't have a penetrative midfielder who could have released him into space and save him the stress of having to constantly combat a defender. I think Pogba would have worked well with Depay on the wing because his movement is fantastic and would complement Pogba's long ball. |
engrelvis:Van Gaal style of play was the worst? Lol. You mean a coach who had no creative midfielder in his sluggish midfield consisting of a slow ageing Carrick, past it sluggish Rooney and lethargic slow Fellaini (who could be handy with his movement and chest though) behind inexperienced unproven young attack trio of Martial, Rashford and Lingard yet won the FA cup with them and kept us fighting for the top four till the last day was poor than Moyes' 150 Crosses in a match or Mourinho who didn't know what to do with all the talent he acquired! The revisionism no be here. |
engrelvis:You mean the water they drink at Manutd turns them to average players? Pun intended. ![]() On a serious note, Memphis still struggles on the wing for Lyon. He's better as a central forward especially when deployed as a false 9 and not just a lead striker because he often loves to drop deep and linkup play. He's been phenomenal for Netherland when used in such role. Lyon sometimes still makes the mistake of using him as a lead striker with fekir (a SS) behind him which isn't the best way to utilise him. He should either be deployed as a second striker behind a lead striker or as a false 9 in a 433 setup. As for Di Maria, he isn't pulling up trees at PSG despite the world-class midfielder he's been feeding off at PSG. That reminds me, I recall saying Memphis should be tried as our central forward because of his good movement and linkup play but the naysayers then we're saying no. I bet Lukaku is giving us what we want now. Lol. https://www.nairaland.com/871307/official-manchester-united-fan-thread/2807#44815804 This is not to blow my trumpet but I was really pissed off yesterday the way some people went on about Zagadou. Anyway, I will continue to follow his trajectory phase. No doubt he's still a bit raw and for the position he plays, i.e, the central back role, it would be so soon to want him where the pressure is much more higher at Manutd especially when he's shown that he is a bit overawed by big occasions. He was good against Bayern the last time though. The central back role is a very delicate position. Off topic, this video below is what people mean by having a puncheable face. You wouldn't be able to help yourself. . On a serious note, I really don't know what the securities were doing while the pitch invader was intruding into the pitch.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIm_5yoYYws |
See my boy against Man City. Thunder fire yeye naysayers.
|
Still on these players (Ceballos, Grealish, Maddison, Van De Beek, De Ligt). Now I will add Zagadou, Rodrigo Hernandez and Memphis to it. I don't want Bruno Fernandez who's more or less a second striker at sporting. I don't know why people are creaming their pant over him. If you don't like it, dey your lane!
|
In fact, I would say I have hardly be wrong while choosing attackers and midfielders on here. I rarely suggest defenders because I know that's one area where you can't have a perfect player. They would always be subjected to scrutiny anytime they make a mistake which can't be taken out from a defender. What they only need to do is to minimise such mistakes. Van Djik who's the best defender in the EPL presently isn't devoid of mistake, so why cry over a 19yrs old defender for making a mistake against one of the best striker out there? Some people are roaming mad! |
Need to say I wanted Mane here instead of Mikhitaryan and even dembele before he left to play for Dortmund but some idiots here were shouting Mikhitaryan then. It's like some people want to hear history in this place. |
Lana1:Lmao. I was the first to say ox Chamberlain should play in the Midfield. Likewise David Silva. I called out to not sign Mikhitaryan, Pogba, Sanchez and Fred, didn't I? And I was proven right. I called out the fact that Herrera won't amount to nothing, creative wise or in the playmaking sense while some idiots like yourself kept crying over Van Gaal stifling him. Who is still stifling Herrera today? I called for Maddison to be signed and he's proven his worth at Leicester so far. When a stupid person as yourself finally realise that Zagadou is a just a 19yrs old in his first top flight, we will take you serious then. I can count how many mistakes the likes of Smallling, Lindelof, Ramos have all made but you're only concerned with a 19yrs old player? Have you forgotten how Lewandoski dealt with Ramos in the Madrid match? Abi eleyi to ya were ni? I have been proven right more than anyone on here. That's the cold fact. If you actually watched City match against Newport, you would realise Poole was the best player for his team and was the reason they were keeping City out before the floodgates were finally opened. Even City had to work for those goals they scored. Harrop was the best player on the pitch when he played for us. That Mourinho isn't a coach that love kids shouldn't negate the fact that Harrop was quality both for the youth team and when he played for the first team for us. It's no wonder the youth team got relegated the moment he left for Preston considering the fact that the the squad were still the same, apart from Harrop and Poole who left for loan. It all shows that Harrop was an important player in that team. Crying over a 19yrs old making a mistake against one of the best strikers who had once shamed Ramos reeks of stupidity. Even the De Ligt I also suggested isn't free of mistakes. If experienced defenders can have mistakes in them, why should young defenders be any different? Fact is we would be paying for potential here and that was why I wanted Aldeweireid to be brought in as well. Yeye dey smell. |
raumdeuter:Lol at betting, i bet you didn't expect to have been dumped by Liverpool early this stage, did you? Yeye dey smell Btw, Without boateng, Germany could have won the world cup. Hummel was superior throughout the course of the tournament. Germany won the confederation cup without boateng input, isn't it? Just thank God for Dante and Hummel in Boateng's life. At 19, Zagadou on the other hand is already starting for Dortmund's side unlike Boateng who was still pushing wheel barrow as a full back at Hamburg. Besides, Zagadou was only at fault for the second goal. Others were headed attempts from the right side. While that of Martinez was a bullet after a spill from the keeper. Most of the attacks were coming from Alaba, thiago and Coman who were putting in long balls into the box which Dortmund couldn't deal with it. Most of the headed attempts were from the right side, not the left side of Zagadou. The only bad mistake I saw him really make was the 2nd goal scored by Lewandoski. And yes I believe he's going to become a good defender in the long run. He just need to stop dilly dallying on the ball when closed down. He's obviously got confidence in his ball skill but at times, you just have to be aware of dangers around and punt long. He was obviously nervous after the mistake but after few minutes, he was back to himself but Dortmund as a whole couldn't deal with the long ball from Bayern. |
raumdeuter:Lol. Laid the groundwork indeed. No one knows the trajectory of a young player but the truth is Zagadou has much more responsibility and plays for a top Dortmund side at 19 while boateng was playing as a full back for Hamburg side. The reason you're criticising Zagadou today is because he's playing for Dortmund. If he was playing for Hamburg, you wouldn't care about his mistake nor put it under a microscope like you are doing. No one did that with boateng at 19. Besides, boateng wasn't given such responsibility as a central back. It just look funny to see you lashing at a 19yrs old who's been doing quite well just because he made a mistake today. I could also show you an Iranian player destroying boateng in his prime but this is just Zagadou at 19. Shame on you |
raumdeuter:Lol. We are talking about their 19yrs stage. Come down from your horse. Fact is at 19, Boateng was a disfunctiomal full back playing for a pathetic club as Hamburg where his mistake wasn't microscoped in the full glare of the world. No one cares if Hamburg loses by 8-0 while boateng was there because no one cares about the pathetic club in the first place unlike a top Dortmund side where Zagadou play as a central back. Moreover, boateng couldn't even be trusted with a responsibility of the central back role because he was that pathetic. Thank God for Dante and Hummel in his life. Lol. |
raumdeuter:Even if they had hakimi and Guerrero, I doubt Dortmund would win anything from the match because they lacked someone who can lead the attack and there's no one to release the wing without Reus operating behind. Same thing happened against Spurs. Hakimi and Guerrero would only be pushed backward and their defensive aspect of the game is just as poor and even worse. |
raumdeuter:Lol. Don't you mean Boateng was an average full back who couldn't be trusted in a central back role which has much more responsibility than the full back where you go all out and out of position without no care in the world? At 19, Boateng was playing for Hamburg as a fullback, Zagadou was playing for a top Dortmund side with much more responsibility than the scare crow of a defender you champion. Lol |
Roland17:I know Zagadou is young and isn't the finish product hence why I wanted another defender apart from him.. what I love about him is the fact that he's left footed and good in the air. I don't know what happened today though. But he was overawed by the occasion. He was Dortmund's best defender in the last game against Bayern. I guess having Diallo beside him in the left back role looked off for him. Maybe the coach should have gone for a 3-man defence. I don't know. Anyway, I think the player they missed the most is lead striker to push on while Reus drop behind to create the creativity they need. Paco alcazar is their biggest match winner anyday. |
raumdeuter:Lol. He's been better than Diallo this season. He's just 19yrs and in his first full flight. At his age, boateng was still pushing wheel barrow. |
