I will only commend PMB when he chooses to tax churches who are meant to be charities and Non-Profit Organizations but they sell books at Bookshop prices. They Establish private universities that are expensive to enroll in. They implore churchgoers to pay their 10% of their income to the church. They also collect offerings and building funds too. These ministries are making a whole lot of money and they are good in showing off in a way that makes atheists proud of their decisions.
Lets face it one of the best churches the world ever had is the Catholic church. These guys went all around the world, risked their health and lives for the gospel. Wherever they were they built schools, orphanages, hospitals, etc. That is charity. That is what Christianity is all about. Love to God and your fellow men.
Even if I am neither a catholic nor in favor of some of their doctrines, I am motivated to give to their church. For the record, I also like the way they transfered Mbaka who wanted to wield influence like the pentecostal pastors. My question on the recent Adeboye handover was why did he handover RCCG Nigeria to one of the church's FINANCIAL CONTROLLERS?
