Business › Re: How Much Is Cooking Gas In Your Area? by Kaido: 8:13am On May 23
janeedema:
Why use gas for boiling water or warm food? That’s more cost consuming na. I have this LED electric hot plate that saved my cooking gas. I was thinking initially that it would consume electricity but that has hardly been the case. I truly recommend it for all households. I only use my gas when there is no light. Else, I use the LED hot plate and my electricity still carries me for the number of months it carries me for.
The power supply in my location has drastically reduced from 19 hours to 10 hours a day. Now, we barely have 5hours of power. I will get the LED hot plate, when power is stable.

If you want your marriage to last, you have to be more tolerant, patient & understanding, learn to sacrifice more, and don't be Mr. Right all the time.. women don't like looking stupid even though most of them are. huh

Welcome to the sweet hell called marriage. grin

Okay but these are questions you ask during a date or whenever they meet physically. Anyone can lie convinently via chat. Eyes movement, body language and facial expressions matters to me when you answer my questions.

She is absolutely right. I expect every sane and responsible man to answer these questions truthfully. It's just that things have changed; if not, these are the questions that family members on both sides ask and answer to ensure a good match.

You cannot want to ask someone for marriage and not tell her your age, qualifications, earnings, vision, and intention. She cannot surrender her life to you if she is unsure of your standing.

If you want her, answer.
Yes, it is good to get info but not like a gold-digger.

If you are a lady, and a man that wants
to marry asks you.

How much do you earn?
How rich is your father?
Is he a politician?
Hope you have a Masters?

abeg, you go like am?
Romance › Re: Help! My Experience With Church Girl I Wanted To Marry by Kaido:
Una gats talk this out face to face.

Relationships is a partnership. Know also what she's bringing to the table. Dont try to impress her like you got S on your chest like Clark Kent. Every woman wants a Superman in their lives, but only few women would stand by their man to calm his demons and console the man, after losing wars and battles.

You should be the one firing her all these questions. I don't like gold-digging questions

Aiyyo my man, don't marry a church girl but a godly woman. She looks like the "My daddy says this or that " kinda lady.

Don't reply her via chat. Ask her out for a date.

Catholic priests caught in homosexual acts are sent abroad, if the victim decides to speak out. The might even tag the victim mentally unstable.

They can cover things up like the CIA.

You're asking the right questions.
It was not so from the beginning. Plants were the meat and herbs for humans. After the flood, Noah and his family could legitimately eat flesh as food, unlike what was legit pre-flood.
Also, animals became aggressive and dreaded humans after the flood.

I do not know why as I don't have all the answers. I'm sure in due time, the answer will come. But just know that it was not so from the beginning.

Keep meditating on these things, as long as your motive is pure and genuine, you'll definitely get the correct answer.
I think it was after God drove Adam and Eve from Eden that animals became aggressive.

BTW, I like your contribution to the thread.

Chai! Okay 👍

An Igbo man was very angry with wife cuz she innocently paid the fees of their son, when the husband travelled. This caused a very serious wahala. Well, I felt he was just a traditional man basking in stupidity.
But now I see things differently from another angle

I said I am married, my wife earn big but I take care of my family's financial responsibility up to 98% or more.

My wife only spend her income on herself, her family, relatives. I still take care of her own personal needs. This also applies to many of my married friends and family members. I have friends in America too that cater for their family up to 75% despite having a working class wife. It is like a norm for most Igbo men anyway, except the man is seriously struggling financially. [s]We Igbo men derive joy and pride in being the sole provider in our marriage.[/s] It could be a bad practice based on today's norms but that's how most of us Igbo men are wired.
This thinking is archaic and absurd. No wonder Igbo men die earlier in marriage due to stress.

Marriage is a business partnership. Share both the financial and other responsibilities
