Helo Kalan,
I want to get few clarification, I'm a graduate of Accounting and a Chartered Accountant, I wish to apply for Masters in Business Administration.Am I eligible for this, part of the requirements state a minimum of 3yrs in Managerial position is this a compulsory criteria. I look forward to your response. Thanks.

Hi Alukotee
yes you are eligible but wuld like to know when you finished your bsc if i may ask?

Physco4221:
Hello Mr kalan
Please I want to apply for masters of business administration, I don't have a professional certificate, but I 'm planning to give one soon.pls can still apply without the certificate?

Hi Physco4221

nobody says you need a cert to apply for MBA, i dont get where people are getting that info from, its an added advantage, but dont matter.
you can have 10 and still fail, and you can have none and pass very well. the exam is he main deal.

Zuri2020:
Please, after submitting our application online are we to submit anything in our respective departments before the exams?

this is not required. online submission ok. just prep for exams

pelicanbeau:
Hi good people, do we have environmental psychology program for graduate of psychology in unilag please? And can a graduate with cgpa of 2.66 of 5.00 point be admitted for masters in unilag PGD school?

Hi pelicanbeau,

Its not broken down from the onset like you would love it to be. But after admission you are given opportunity to select which options you want to specialize in. So yes there is Env Psychology.

the real question is what is your grade level? The class of your degree? If 2:2 or higher you re good to go.

blacqueen:
WHAT COURSE CAN I STUDY WITH MY BSC IN MASSCOMM - 2.2 FROM OOU CESAP. THANKS

Hi Blacqueen,

The question is what do you want to study?
or what is your career interest?
That way you can navigate to what your bsc can fetch you.

Because an open ended question like his will lead to speculative tendencies which wont help you really.
so what do you want to do?

hope it helps

Godsoniam:
Please kalan,

Can someone use combined O' level results to apply for MSc chemical engineering?

Hi Godsoniam

O level don't play a role in your Pg requirement as much except in MBA.
so you dont really need your o levels. all that matters is your degree.

olayincar:
Hello sir...
You are doing a great job here

Please help me with this

I have HND in statistics from federal polytechnic
Wish to apply for PDG in statistic via Unilag

Please sir.. Are there any good opportunity for me
And if yes
How can I go about it

Thanks

Hi olayincar,

Unilag don't accept HND except in 3 courses. So what I would advise if you still insist on unilag is do Enrol for biomedical engineering or an MBA.

If non goes with ur plan then u have to find an alternative school

Thanks for reaching out.

Unilag postgraduate tuition is fairly cheap.
It's N75k for all program if you're going for Msc.

That comes to N1563 per week.
If your salary is N50k per month you could save to pay the fees by saving 10k monthly for just 8 months.

A master degree is so so important these days if you want to get a good job or compete at a higher level anywhere you are.

Don't let 2019 pass you by. Unilag postgraduate forms are selling already.

Check the first page for my blog to get all the details you need to apply.

All de best.

Kinesiology:
Please is it advisable to apply for unilag masters programme because my school suspended the distribution of certificates, and it is clearly stated that they dont accept statement of results....

Hi,
Yes u can use your statement of result to apply. But by admission u request for transcripts or your certificate would be ready by then.

Hope it helps.

Hello Kalan,

I have a B.Sc (Ed.) Computer Science, 2.1.

Am I eligible for M.Sc. Computer Science in Unilag?

Thanks.

Hi mrgbenga1,

If this is an education degree, Then is a No.

However, what school is this?

let me ask around for you?

Slimgees:
Hello Kalan, what course can I do with a first class (B.Ed)/Social Studies from OAU and can I switch to social sciences.

Hello Slimgees,

Nice one on your firstclass.

There are various courses you can do, although you still limited in a way.

You kinda have 3 options

1. pursue your education path and become a Prof in it, seems you really like Edu - Your class of degree speaks for itself

2. change your course but start from a pgd level - harsh but could be rewarding if you want this path

3. Go straight into professional management in any industry of choice

I would advise you chose between 1 & 2, though the social science route is available via 2.

NOTE:
Since, You are eligible for a direct Doctorate degree with your firstclass, you can also pursue this route.

Talk to your department of choice in Social science, I strongly believe, they might give you a waiver for direct masters.
But try it first., lemme know how it goes.

Hope it helps.

IamZod:
Hi i have bsc in Accounting. I would love do an Msc in bus admin or Bus mgt.

Hi IamZod,

What i see you ask for is Msc Bus Admin or Bus Admin which in Unilag it called Msc Management.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
