Today while I was commuting in a Lagos Island bound vehicle,I saw about 5 danfo buses with CPC posters,they actually parked around Adeniji-Olowu bus stop(if you were in transit on 3rd mainland bridge around 11am today,you will observe what I am reporting) probably waiting for others,the posters bore one candidate with an alias 'BOXER' contesting for House of Reps.The way the BB buses parked coupled with buses stopping for passengers disembarking at the Bus stops I suppose,caused a mild traffic and allowed commuters to stare at the buses and political conversations soon ensued in the long crosscountry-kind of buses I was commuting in.The conversation started with
'Are they a political party?'
'which kind new party is just starting campaign now for Godsake?"
"This must be Pastor Chris Okotie party!"
'These ones are just wasting their vote,we are voting for that 'policeman'(Ribadu) not obasanjo's goodluck'

I listened in rapt attention and the 'war' raging on nairaland came to my mind-Nobody in the bus mentioned Buhari yet people on nairaland continue to 'forcefully' promote Buhari.
I compared that with my experience in my polling ward on last saturday where no single voter 'voted' Buhari' and I concluded that Buhari is not popular at all in Lagos.
Sadly,if you consider the way ribadu and gej rigorously campaigned in Lagos and just few days to election,most lagosians dont know Buhari's party,the man will perform very dismally on April 16.
I have a feeling this is how it is in most southern states.

I will vote Ribadu because I am sure RIBADU has the passion,education and integrity to rule Nigeria better than ANY OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES

Just stay in your siberia and continue to dream on!

Last week in my ward,the oldman did not get even a single 'vote',yet you continue to delude yourself about his possible '25%' in Lagos!!

the fact that the two moderators of the political section of nairaland (Jarus and Aisha2) dubiously use the forum to promote BB and yet 'moderate' the views of those of us not in their camp is an indication that the artificial popularity BB enjoys on nairaland is a farce,a bubble and come April 16,the bubble go burst.
Remember,you can not build anything on nothing.

Now to those of you in siberia,the BB thing is ,I repeat,on my honour,very very low in popularity in the whole south!!People dont know the man's party,symbol and no notable political achiever of southern extraction  is promoting his candidature,yet,the political scammers promoting BB on nairaland dont consider that a serious defect,they think it is as much noise you can make on nairaland that will translate to vote.
I laugh at the ignorance of this people,BB has lost the election before it even started by thinking that his popularity in the north will translate to political acceptance in the south!!Whereas a Ribadu party has successfully penetrated and spread his acceptance all over the country!!This is the Ribadu joker!!Everybody knows and identify the broom symbol yet most people hardly recollect the oldman's party symbol and name in the south.
Now to the final verdict,that BB has failed so far to penetrate the south is Ribadu's gain!!!
That the progressives and the intelligentsia are queueing behind Ribadu further provides a swing vote of mostly the undecided in Ribadu's favour!!
That the BB campaign enjoys no single sentiment of attachment in the south and could not snatch any major endorsement from Ribadu's stronghold while pdp ,Ribadu and Shekerau quietly nibble at the northern votes BB is banking on is the game changer!!

I am making this clarification because it is too late for BB as the SW has spoken,it is RIBADU,even Mimiko could not campaign against Ribadu in ondo in order not to get any political backlash!!

Stay in siberia and continue to spew political theory while ACN continue to win new converts all around the country!!

Contonue to think,people are going to split votes,it only exists in your 'absent'mind as realities on ground is very very different from what is on ground!
