so it means we shouldn’t have disturbed ourselves on on proper player switch on Lookman since his Father was born in Nigeria, we for just quickly call am for fone make he join super eagles…and also victor moses
Did FIFA not clear them to play for Nigeria? Did Nigeria just give them a call and capped them? Wasn't Alebiosu simply called up because he played no youth games for England

oga go and sleep one place, na DRC wan go win something abi
na this DRC wan go beat portugal and Columbia for world cup abi..

we lost to Benin and DRC lost to a war-thorn Sudan

Wetin dey their group wey no dey our group, aside Senegal who strong for their group too
-Sudan (war zone wey still beat them)
-Togo(washed up ekuke west african team)
-Mauritania
-South Sudan

You wanna compare those teams to Benin and Zimbabwe ….baba Lesotho go beat that south sudan and Mauritania

Zimbabwe of today go flog Togo like werey, if Benin catch that Sudan na mad beating them go collect.

And who say we going to the world cup is backdoor, if Fifa finds them guilty of ineligibility and gives them light punishment to advance then they are the ones that qualified through back door(using mercenaries to win a match)…no na we no fit quickly recruit Ebere Eze,Bukayo Saka, David Alaba,Madueke to win Afcon and qualify to world cup ineligibly? na we mumu na
How are the Congolese players mercenaries when their parents were born in DR Congo?

this guy , you are truly funny. Its clear you didn't understand what I was pointing you to. Anyway I can't engage you. You have already made up your mind to follow status quo. If there is one thing I will appreciate about this NFF, Is that confidence to take the risk .

If Nigeria win this case , this guy fit die 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He is severely pained . So sorry about that.
Now the ad hominems, what exactly should I be pained about? As for Nigeria winning the case...

No it clearly shows you are allowing sentiments to becloud your reasoning . It also butteress the fact that you just watch only football without understanding the rules . That something is wrong doesn't make it right due to longevity or people falling to reveal the obvious.do you know the story of EMILIA NSUE(though not similar to this case)
If Dr CONGO isn't finally sanctioned (which I doubt), it doesn't take away the fact that countries will not learn from this case. It's not about Nigeria , it's about wining both in and out of the field. Beside it seems you are not comfortable with doing things right .
Look at you, comparing Nsue's case to Congo

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You are the biggest content creator. You should be really perturbed that the decision wasn't made yesterday. That would have tilted it to Dr CONGO.
FiFA still delaying this decision means that Nigeria presented a very strong case against Congo. It even solidifies the fact that is unlikely in Congo's favour. Just pray Congo is not banned sha. This case will open up a lot of things about players nationality switch in Africa.
Keep dreaming content creator
DR Congo and other nations that have successfully been completing nationality switch in Africa but for some reason, again the arrogance of thinking Nigeria presented a strong case because the several content creators said so.

I have nothing to pray about DR Congo not getting banned because similar cases have been thrown out at FIFA as nonsense

It’s always the same people who don’t like anything positive that rush out to talk first. The moment a date passes without a verdict, you crawl out just to mock as if football cases are decided by your personal calendar.

Seeking redress when a country believes another fielded ineligible players is not a crime. It’s the proper legal process. Nigeria and the NFF are not the first to file a case and won’t be the last. Plenty of cases have been filed before, some won, some lost.

Because February 16 came and went, you suddenly found confidence to talk. Relax. When the final verdict comes win or lose, the process itself will make FIFA pay closer attention to national laws on player eligibility and strengthen the system.

Until then, go back and sit down. Stop behaving like someone waiting only for bad news to celebrate. Hide again and let serious people discuss football properly.
You really think Nigeria is the only country on the planet, that's the sheer arrogance of some of you, like the several content creators with insiders at FIFA who had already made a decision February 16.
The bad news already happened when they lost 4-3 on penalties, yet the NFF and their agbado lawyers are looking for free qualification money from FIFA to loot.

Omo see as other African countries dey stack up with quality, meanwhile we're struggling to get jusr Ahanor or Tosin...world cup na you do this one o.
Tosin is overrated, will be 29 this year and he's like Nedum Onuoha who continuously rejected SE despite no chance of playing for England.

Ahanor is most likely waiting to apply for Italian citizenship once he turns 18 and wouldn't commit to the SE now, Italian laws are very ruthless when it comes to children of Immigrants.

Why are we Nigerians always like this? We are very quick to spew negatives only about our country on public fora. This is what you hardly see other people from other countries do. Are those countries perfect? No. Are their citizens satisfied with their leaders? No. Their jibes aren't like ours. Then when all these South Africans, Ghanaians, Kenyans and now the Namibians who equally have a lot going on their countries come here to read our derogatory comments about our own country and decide to get back at us, we complain. We need to learn how to talk even when we have a lot to say. It is wisdom.
Which is more important, hiding the truth so that the rubbish continues or exposing the nuisance that could result in positive change.

It will not be a problem if it's only Nigerians that are affected, Ishowspeed an American had a taste of the omonile and owomida when he visited the country so there's no need to hide anything. Similar to the Dutch biker that visited a few years back

If DRC law does not recognize dual citizenship, then any player who still legally holds another nationality may NOT be a Congolese national under DRC law and FIFA eligibility depends on valid nationality under national law.

I don't know your problem with Nigeria. FIFA has acted on nationality law conflicts before. Court of Arbitration for Sport have ruled in past cases that national law overrides football convenience. If nationality is invalid or improperly acquired then the player is ineligible, matches can be forfeited even years later

This isn’t about sentiment. FIFA eligibility depends on valid nationality under national law. If DRC law does not recognize dual citizenship, then players who still hold and use foreign nationality may not legally be Congolese at all. That’s not opinion it’s FIFA Article 5. Nigeria is right to ask FIFA to examine the legality.”

But saying “NFF has no case” is simply false. There is clearly a legal basis worth examining. You so dismissing this as “no case” is either ignorance or bad faith.
There are 211 football associations under FIFA, you expect them to acknowledge, implement and replicate additional requirement of having a country's constitution (that is subject to amendment periodically) across each member country for any player filing a switch, or to you Nigeria and DRC are the only countries on this planet.

For those that keep mentioning Malaysia, these 2 players below fulfilled the residency requirements of FIFA (5 years)despite not being born there or have parents from Malaysia unlike the 7 players banned and are currently part of their national team

This is my last comment regarding this issue until the verdict is made, if it favors Nigeria good otherwise they should focus on 2030

I'm entitled to my opinion regarding the matter, I don't believe the NFF has a case based on FIFA eligibility guidelines.

If the SE are successful I'll support them at the WC playoff and the main tournament

Oga dt 10.2.2 don answer all questions na …na u Dey give us answer sef
If you had read the entire message you wouldn't have jumped the 10.2.

The players in question were eligible to obtain Congolese nationality of which their government granted them that as opposed to holding them from birth.

The primary requirement for FIFA regarding that is nationality is a passport of that nation. If that is the case from FIFA's end they have to then verify if they met the parental, birth or residency link according to their guidelines in my last point.

I can now see why IELTS and TOEFL are required for Nigerians trying to study abroad, smh.

Let everybody start dashing passport left, right and center.

Shebi passport is all that matters

FIFA go clear players tire
