Mine has something similar.. when the outside temperature becomes 97F the AC will not work and car engine overheats. But later discovered the radiator fan was not picking up when the temperature is high.. it’s all fixed now

Who has experience on this plz.. It hasn't been resolved..

It cools when outside temperature is detected, doesn't cool when outside temperature is not detected as shown as attached.

Ambient temperature sensor at the front bumper is faulty. Ac system need the sensor signal to determine the outside temperature so as to know the level to set the coldness of ac inside the cabin.

I am surprised others say they are not related. When am driving the sensor goes off and AC stops cooling, sensor comes on and AC continues to cool. They are definitely related.

Anytime my outside temperature displays "--" AC doesn't chill. I noticed this few days ago. I initially thought it was AC issue.

what can i do?

It says 88F right now and AC is working.

but sometimes, I dont know what causes it to display two hyphens. And AC doesn't work.

Some ppl offered advice but u kept countering them. Replacing parts with new parts don't guarantee solution. You meed to find the culprit.
1. As suggested, a clogged fuel filter amd pump can make the engine run lean thereby causing that.
2. A dirty throttle body also cam cause vibration while the brake is active.
3. Dirty injectors can cause the vibration e.g misfire which new plugs might fix only for a while.


Do not rule anything out. Get the car diagnosed right. Stop throwing parts.

Not fuel pump or fuel filter.clean the idle control valve.your engine doesnt recieve enough air. Call me for more info.07067747585

Why does new spark plug resolve the issue temporarily then?

Ur fuel filter and pump are the culprits. There's a whole lot of dirt in ur fuel tank and as such wen ur fuel begins to get low ur filter begins to encounter dem. Since U already changed the plugs and d problem hasn't gone away, time to check on ur fuel pump

If that's correct after filling the tank, why does engine keep vibrate irregularly and consuming too much fuel?

Please what could be the problem?

Car will suddenly start to vibrate while on break and engine ON, I will change the 4 spark plugs, vibration will stop. But after a while, it will start vibrating again. It never vibrates during motion/acceleration.

And vibration always start when fuel always get near empty before refilling.

I have noticed

And when this happens, fuel usage is crazy high!

As if fuel is leaking or something.
