If you're really going with batch B stream II 2024

By now,

- Your name should be on the matriculation list

- Name on the Jamb slip must be tally with that of school and NIN (Your name, State of origin and date of birth will be harvested from JAMB PORTAL) for mobilisation.

- If you have any issues, kindly contact your school, NYSC won't accept the disparity of name and no avenue to add or remove name on NYSC portal again..(only allow to apply for name arrangements and correction).

- Note the year of graduation on your statement of result against the year on graduation on the senate list when it's out.

- Your statement of results must contain Day, month and years to avoid unnecessary drama during camp registration.

- Course, gender and Grade must tally as stated on your statement of result, although you can apply for correction on NYSC portal after successful registration and inform your school to approve the request.

- Internal mobilization is ongoing in most schools.

- Start getting your documents ready.

My name on jamb is Samuel Janet Ugo-chukwu and NIN is Samuel Janet Ugochukwu
Will the hypen make a difference and cause issues while registering?

Pls my name goes like this Kayode Kingsley C. In all my previous credentials(WAec, and jamb).

But the problem is I used my full names in the university level. Which is Kayode kingsley Camoron. And its also the name my school cleared and submitted to nysc.

Now presently I couldn't register for my nysc. PLEASE house how will I correct this issue. Because my name in my jamb form must correspond with the name my school submitted for nysc

My middle name is missing from my jamb and school details but is present in other documents like my NIN(meaning I have 3 names here), will this be a big issue regarding NYSC?

Hello, it’s either you change NIN and other documents to two names which is most likely the best solution
Or try if jamb will allow you add a third name

I was trying to register for NYSC on the 29th of January, but I couldn't due to some issues with my middle name (NYSC recently made NIN compulsory for corpers). This means I have to go to a NIMC center to do a name correction.

The next day, I went to the center at Ojo Local Government Secretariat in Lagos, but I met a crowd, and it was obvious I won't be able to meet the deadline for NYSC registration if I should join the queue.

Hence, I went to the NIMC center at Lagos State University, only to meet another crowd. Then, I made the following discovery:

1. Nin is now compulsory for Jamb and Waec registrations. Hence, I saw several secondary school students who should be in class also hustling for Nin.

2. Both Lasu and Ojo centers have only one computer to attend to the huge crowd. It was heartbreaking seeing people suffer just to register into a government database. I know the government would have dispensed resources for several computers, but the money has been embezzled.

3. The NIMC officials at Lasu are taking advantage of the situation to stylishly exploit the people.

If you want to be attended to as quick as possible, you have to go through the backdoor to bribe them with a minimum of 5000 naira. A lot of people were paying the bribes because they needed the Nin urgently.

The three NIMC officials at Lasu whose name I got were Chidinma, Alice and Emma. Those guys are making serious money from these bribes. Imagine if an average of 30 persons pay them 5000 per day just to get their Nin registration done that same day.


4. The implication of the above (if you don't have 5000 to bribe) is that you won't be attended to except you are ready to keep coming everyday for the next 2 months.

I saw a young girl who told me she has been coming repeatedly for many days but was not attended to, but she needs the Nin for jamb registration which is closing soon.

Please how were you able to correct your name? Was it only nin you had issue on?

Please I’m using two names in my jamb and waec that’s my surname and first name.while in my university statement of result and senate list is three names, and mobilization for Nysc is tomorrow,please what should I do about my middle name omission.will it affect me in camp? My bvn and all other documents have 3 names. Only my jamb n waec. Please what should I do

I want to register for nysc but I need my name on jamb and waec to be the same. I couldn’t change jamb name at their office because my waec has same name and waec also couldn’t change for me because I did the exam in 2016. What can I do please, help me
