i used an infinix note 12 vip phone bought close to 400k
got tired of it i know in my mind nobody would buy for #200k so i just kept got another phone untill i gave it out....

An iPhone with the same price tag will last longer, get more software updates (for years), will not lag for any reason, will keep its value i.e 2 years from now that iPhone will command almost the same price. If you think specs on paper amout to a better phone you’re clearly new here

6gb/128gb. Snapdragon 855

The back glass has a few cracks. I have unlocked the bootloader, rooted it, changed it to dual SIM, and installed Android 11 (the best version for the G8). I can install Android 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15 if you want. (13,14 and 15 are custom ROMs), so there won't be any LG app on it or features like the face id. A10 is also good, but it's old. Android 11 is the best imo.

I have also enabled 4G+. So the phone browses a lot faster. I'll attach a speed test image to this regard. If you observe the image, you'll see 4CC at the top left. It means the phone is connected to four 4G bands simultaneously.

I'll also attach a YouTube video link where I showed the phone in video and talked about it in depth.

The fingerprint not working is as a result of the swollen battery. The fingerprint connector is no longer touching the back glass. That's why. You can get a battery at Ikeja for 7k. Fix it for 1k.

The thing with your network provider deducting your airtime seems to be a SIM card issue. Have you tried other Sims?

Also you should have updated this phone to android 10.

I got the Zenfone. Just waiting for it to arrive. It has Snapdragon 8 gen 2. Small body, good package.

Pixel 6 and 7 (the ones under my budget) have heating issues.
Samsung has green line problems, and the ones I can afford have heating issues (S21 and S22).
I no too Sabi OP phones, but the ones I saw were too costly or not good enough.

The only downside to this Zenfone is it has USB2.0 (even our old LG G5 has usb3), and its bootloader cannot be unlocked.

I'm trying to leave this rooting life, so this is even a perfect opportunity. But if it is unusable, I'll sell the phone and get a one cheap Xiaomi.
