and yes I don't think you can completely degoogle V60 without making some serious sacrifices or compromises...from my own experiments, despite rooting the V60, you don't have absolute system rewriting permissions, you can only make changes on certain root folders...the root folder where playstore, youtube and other google apps are, are not rewritable...so I use hail+root or hail+shizuku to disable those apps

for youtube, I use newpipe variants (bravenewpipe and pipepipe) and ytdlnis but it's kinda hectic sometimes when youtube wants to be showing themselves, so you need to be on the latest versions of youtube clients all the time...

gboard, I froze that, I mainly use unexpected keyboard and when I want to type faster in proper english, I use a gboard mod from 4pda...

your v60 still dey in action?

mi goal for mobile phones na to use v60 or any oneplus on a10 and also get a oneplus or vivo foldable...

You can get RW on system by flashing a TWRP module called MountRW. Also, I use G8, not V60.

Plan on moving to Xiaomi 13 or Zenfone 9/10 (means leaving rooting behind)

i’d advise you leave the phone then and get one of those phones you see there, as parts for repairability is another factor to consider when buying a phone.

I have to conduct a lot of research before getting a phone. Cannot just get anyone I see.

You can try Poco F3. I have one for sale. It's very good at multitasking and even heavy gaming. It's got the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset and doesn't it heat up with heavy load. Battery life is also excellent and it charges completely under 1 hr.

Also, a network locked Samsung S23 or S24. Please it must ask for unlock code if you insert an unsupported sim. If it doesn't, don't bother please. Also, please state the network it is locked to.

They are, but S21 is hotplate because of the Snapdragon processor, and those green line issues.

The Pixel 5 has a weaker battery and processor.

No Volte, no 5G. (Unless you know how to tweak things)

LG phones will lose playstore certification by the year's end. It means some apps that require your playstore to be "certified" won't work. So you'll need to root your phone and do some tweaks to fix it.

All these ikeja batteries are all the same.

This battery I got as at when I made that comment seems to be better than all the other ones I've gotten. My phone stays on for as low as 14% and doesn't lag while at it. I haven't tried to see how long it will stay up for before going off. So I just charge when it's low.

I'll ask the guy for the V30 battery. If he can order the two, I'm game. But it will take months to arrive.
