ok Bros..thank you very much..well noted..
on going, she purchased a return ticket for the 68 days so knowing this won't the ECO have this information about she knowing her return date even before leaning the country? Thanks for the help
ekpotek:
Well the ECO has clearly stated, the main reason for the refusal. If she want to reapply then she must include a cover letter to explain in details what she was doing in the U.K. for 68 days when she had plan to stay for 21 days. Without addressing this issue, it another refusal. Not adhering to the term of visa approval will always lead to decision such as this.

Good evening house,
Please i need help for my aunt, she applied for uk visa stating shes going to stay for 3 weeks (shes being there several times),she was given visa for 6 months.
she then overstayed so she spent 68 days instead of 21 days .she applied again this year and was refused visa based on this overstay and the fact that she did not add her bank account details(genuine fault on her behalf).

shes grown lean as a result of worrying and sleepless night because in the refusal letter, the entry officer doubts her reasons for travelling this time....what i want to ask if it is possible for her to reapply (she wants to) and how to go about it given this circumstance. shes a government worker..

Counting on you guys.thanks

Hi Gurus of this thread.. Greetings
I want to ask if your sponsor must give details of money in account although there is enough money in the account to sponsor you on the trip to the uk even after he writing a cover letter and signing it?

Thanks in advance.

@kaverd

We have repeatedly demonstrated what a healthy bank statement should look like. Positive cash inflows and outflows, also refer to as source of funds, income and expenses.

All the inflows must come from a verifiable source, therefore you are to submit evidence of business transactions, contract papers, award letters, receipts, invoices e.t.c.

There is no particular format explaining money lodgement in account, just have all inflows you feel could raise questions asterisk and briefly explain the source and attach the paper evidence.

Regards.
Thank you very much for the explanation..God bless you.

[quote author=FrontPageLawyer post=39425880]FrontPage Lawyer and Justwise,
My father will be sponsoring me for the visa application i wish to apply next week, i applied early this year (july) and was refused because of lump sum of money in the account. Read on the page that a sponsor should write a letter stating where and how he had the money. My dad ususally deals with huge lumps of money because of his line of work.
i plead if you can give me a draft or format to let my dad follow to explain money in his account. He has already printed the bank statement.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mr. JUSTWISE.

i am a university student in my final year(first semester), i want to travel to the uk for Christmas to visit my uncle, i applied in july but was refused on the basis that i had an unusual amount of money mine step dad sponsoring me had deposited the day he was to print the bank statement for me.
please my question is:
1. can i apply during my final year and be successful if all requirements are being fulfilled?

2. Read about the 28-day rule about the bank statement but clearly did not understand it so if explained better, would be glad.

Please help me out..God bless and thanks.

Bros, just stick to information earlier provided because they have it in their database. I don't think your parent DOB is a material fact to your application unless you are submitting a paper that has your parent DOB on it. Do they know when my parents were born. It is what you tell them that they will know, just be consistent with the information you are giving them.
ok thank you.i am much concerned if they check my passport records and they find my dads name the passport and find my step dads name on their application, won;t that attract a penalty for me??or i can use my step dads details with explanation and it will not cause any problem

Uv

There is an instruction on what to write if your are not sure of your parents DOB which is 1900. Check it well.
ok thank you..my question now can i change it to my biological fathers details in my next application or i should just always apply explaining to them.
am asking this because i used my biological fathers name for my passport and do not want to create the impression that i am deceive them which am not..
thanks in advance.

justwise:
Why were you refused the first application?
I was refused on the basis of a huge lump of money that was in my step dads bank account which i used when applying and also on the basis of not providing enough evidence that i will return to my home country..
i just want to know if i can use my biological fathers name to fill my next application won't i get a ban for it since i used my step dads details for filling the first application?

@Justwise,
i have a problem,i applied for a uk visit visa this year and was refused entry into the country.now when i was filling out the forms i used my step fathers name and details when filling the forms though i explained why i did that on the form..but i have my biological fathers name on my passport because i used my birth certificate for it.truth be told i do not know my fathers DOB and hometown.so i want to ask if i can use my biological fathers name and assume his DOB and hometown or i should always use my step fathers when applying again and if i will not worry me much in future applications..and if the UKBA saves data about applicants or whether this is important..

Your advice is greatly need..Thanks and counting on your usual correspondence.God bless you smiley
