Hi VO, A letter was sent to my fiancee and the letter reads " The National Visa centre receive your fiancé petition from USIC. The NVC will now forward the petition to US consulate in Lagos. Please note it will take several weeks. The US consulate will contact your fiancee when they are ready to process his visa. This is where i jumped the gun , Next step: Go to our website nvc.state.gov/k1 Ma,To cut the long story short, What can i do now ? Any advise will be appreciated. Hi VO. Good morning, I apologize cause i know this questions might have answered before. I'm a beneficiary of K1. NVC sent my case number to my fiancee last friday and NVC but said " The NVC will now forward the petition to embassy in LAGOS. Pls note it will take several weeks". I'm filling the D156 form now. My questions are 1) Can i go ahead and get Police clearance and Medical 2) Can i schedule and appointment now since i have the case number with me. Thanks and looking forward to hear from you. Hi VO, Good day to you. I applied for K1 visa and my fiancé applied/submitted for me in the US february 2015. I want to know the estimated time i should wait for them to send my case to Lagos.
