alexleo: Hellfire/lake of fire is God's wrath. We can't detach hell fire/lake of fire from God. it reflects a part of his nature/attributes- wrath. We can't go beyond what the scripture told us about it. Ayoku77 has dropped some quotations. By the grace of God I'm not going to hell fire so I don't need to bother myself about whether God is there or not. Cheers.

There is so much we don't understand about the word of God but until we do, let's stick to the word even before we can rationalize and make sense of its balanced interpretation.

I believe His presence is everywhere; His manifest presence or glory is only in His church or among His people. And His physical or bodily presence is in heaven and we won't have that yet until the millenial.

The bible says "when two or three persons are gathered in his name he is present there" which means when we dont gather in his name he is not present.....logically he is not everywhere.

The sicks that are almost dying but haven't died. When there is life, there is hope. The mortal pain may be due to one reason, which is manifestation of the Spirit of God!

For the spirit of God in us to manifest, there must be the oppressed, sick people , people with mortal pain etc. If a bold step is taken and the mortal pain prayed for to vanish and it vanished, then the spirit of God is manifested.

What if those people never existed in those time, what miracle will be recorded for Jesus when he was on earth?
