Who told you that road is under construction.they only tried building gutters which still back fired and other little patches. Obigbo is worse than Aba but ppl don't knw yet abagoro: That road is under construction though. Hopefully better pictures will start to appear this dry season. Obigbo is looked down in Port harcourt as a low level town of no importance but people are making billions there. |

Stop saying what you don't know.at least ambassador of Nigeria to south korea is from Obigbo abagoro: I am as usual writing the bitter truth. Those people will never produce a Governor in Rivers State where their acceptability level is 30%. Especially "Oyigbo". |

What are the names of the roads u are talking abt Raymondenyi: unless they re not d roads I'm thinking; cus d state road I know dat leads to oyigbo marketa is being fixed; |
Politics › Re: Pictures Of Sorry State Of Oyigbo Roads In Rivers State by kayce911(op): 8:41pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
Plz the roads I mentioned are state roads.frm obigbo bus stop to obigbo round about, afam road to afam power plant. Includin umusaya road hardywaltz: Op the roads u mentioned are all Federal roads
The PH - Owerri road Amaechi fixed they have refused to reimburse him waiting till he leaves office so they can share the money with his successor.
Amaechi has on several occasions asked those multinationals Intels & Co that have offices along that toad to make the road passable till FG deems it fit to fix their road.
Even Akwa Ibom that fixed several FG roads is yet to be reimbursed not to mention Rivers State. |

These roads are state roads Raymondenyi: I really was about bashing you; b4 I closely saw ur moniker ssymbol (f) n calmed down; u obviously have no idea wat politics is n thus; as customary with females, n thus I'll take my time.m..
Now they re fedral rooads n state n local govt. Roads, the federal roads are built and maintained by the FG's which of course is in their budgetry allocations, buh for reaason s of ineptitude and corrupt ppractises, most of these roads under the watchful eyes of fErma ; are being left to suffer, d consequence of course telling on citizens, the state govt. What they usually do, use d state funds to fix d roads, in d believe d federal govt. Will pay back... But in situations where by, because of there difference in opinion, he(d FG) refuses paying, do yu still expect d state govt. To continue using their already dwindling funds to continue such projects?
N/B : I aint a political chauvinist, or diehard; I supposrt individuals not party, I aint an amaechi fan (I detest his unguarded and incauteous way of address ) but the truth should be said, let's call a spade a spade; know our problems and where to channel our grieviances and discontent to d appropriate quarters |

Any one who is familiar with portharcourt or even a first time visitor must pass through Oyigbo unless you coming through owerri to Elele. I took these shots to show nairalanders what Oyigbo motorists are passing through. Election campaigns are here again and some youths have already started collecting money to help politick for greedy polithiefians.Oyigbo roads have been neglected for so long now while our dear Amechi keep heaping blames on GEJ.

NYSC › Re: Rivers State 2013 Batch C Corp Members by kayce911(f): 8:42am On Nov 02, 2014 |
Plz which batch did u serve ? Cos I served at Egberu too. What ur real name chrysolite: I'm sure you guys are winding up for Closing Ceremony. I hope to see some of you on Tuesday especially if you are posted to Oyigbo lg. To answer the quotations. If you are posted to Oyigbo you'll be entitled to 10k monthly by the state government. which is paid cumulatively at the end of your service year. As a personal opinion I think service in government schools is better especially if you are the type that want your spare time and less workload. If a private school pays 20k be sure you'll work yourself to the tune of that money. Also it's always better you are around a good number of corps members than to be isolated which is usually the case with private schools. I'm serving in Oyigbo local govt, Egberu to be precise but I started out with a private school...and the experience probably informed everything I said. there are good privste schools too like phcn staff school, afam. In all you guys should have fun...spend wisely and save. At least we'll be together till February when I wave good bye to Rivers. |
