Haven't gotten around to seeing the Superman movie yet but the Mr. Terrific praise I'm seeing on the timeline warms my heart.
Hope he becomes one of the most popular characters in the DCU franchise cos it's about time ma boy, Edi Gathegi got his flowers.

She botched taking a Sister Abigail DDT.

Alexa was like "Nani the f***?"

The Sister Abigail DDT was the best botch of the night. Her botches with Roxanne were the worst.

pu7pl3:
She used to be really good.
I don't know what happened to her tbh.

I swear. E come be like say her village people just remember her.
She was starting to get a lot of TV time and I was really happy for her, having been a fan since the Mae Young Classic, but Omo, she needs to go back to catering till the jazz comot for her head

SMUAG:
Slow down your excitement for now cause that figure is not really impressive as you may think...
That $22.5m grossed you see covered both Wednesday and Thursday. That's movies usually start by 7pm for their Thursday night showing, but this Superman started showing as early as 2pm on Thursday, so it's not really an apple for an apple comparison... We don't really know what its Friday, Saturday and Sunday's numbers might look like, but for now it's not really doing super great.

Bro said 2nd biggest opening of the year is not doing super great. I'm begging the exorcists to free this poor soul from the shackles of Snyderism

I feel it's time we, as a thread, come together and talk about Kairi Sane

Illusioneffect:
Wait o, I hope you aren't joining him to say I'm a woke chanter

Join him? I'd be surprised if I've never let you know that you're a woke chanter till now

samistry:
This movie sha..

If ma boy Xavier Woods doesn't get a role, then they're clowning

Palehair:
So you admit those bozos don't know anything and just want to ragebait? who are you and what have you done with the real illusioneffect?

Also they don't have to call it woke for you to get why they are throwing a tantrum especially with Gunn's comment about him being a immigrant that someone pointed out here days ago saying they have started again.
Furthermore, the term "woke" keeps changing, now it's not "woke" because it's not the kind of woke you care about , y'all crack me up

It's not woke because the majority like it and it's making money, as well as, the 3 leads being white and 2/3rds male.
They'll wait for the next CBM with a woman and/or PoC to resume their woke chants

joseph1832:
whAts our business with whether it's woke or not? As long as it's a very good movie, we are okay with it. 👌

Even you sef no believe this thing wey you write 😂🤣

pu7pl3:
He was the only one that even saw some real action, if you know what I mean.

It didn't go all the way and the girl later had to get to ground, leaving my man with blue balls.
Sha hope she invites him over when things don calm down make them finish wetin them start

abduleez1:

BlackManta:

The Bear – Season 4 (2025)

“These are the Bears!”

Season 2 set such an unprecedented high standard. It drew in new fans and fooled many into thinking this was a spontaneous, chaotic show. But by Season 3, they quickly realized it wasn’t that. Every scene is intentional. The negative reviews then spilled into this new season, making me skeptical at first. But having now seen it and being part of the tribe that thugged it out from Season 1, I can confidently say this is still the exact same show: brutally slow to spontaneous moments, but excellent in the build-up and execution of those moments.

Season 4 opens with the team still trying to keep The Bear afloat. At this point, it seems like it’s never going to happen, and that’s the brilliance of the show. Nothing is handed to them. You can see the team collectively working toward that goal, amidst the mess that is their personal lives.

It’s warm, fuzzy, emotional, a big play on how to deal with loss, how to release pain, and everything in between. The show isn’t even trying to win new fans anymore. I’ve personally stopped recommending it to people because it’s so niche. You either get it the first time and stick with it, or you don’t. There’s no in-between.

Excellent performances from the cast once again. Particular praise, as always, for the two leads their scenes together feel like something could go off at any moment. There are many words being said, yet you still feel the dread of everything left unsaid. I’m glad the writers haven’t given in to fan-fueled fantasy theories about them.

We get the occasional fine cameos from Will Poulter, Saul Goodman, and a fun hop-in by Captain Marvel.

If a show gives me the same feeling I had watching Succession, The Office, The Leftovers, and Scrubs, then it’s special. And The Bear gives me those exact feelings.

They will scrub the Emmy's again this year but for a fourth year in a row, This isn't a comedy show! 😭😅

Loved it. And I’m glad it’s been rightly renewed for a fifth season. I’m here for it, however long it takes to unravel.

Actually… they should take their time.

8/10

Do you have a blog? If not, I think you should start one. You write so beautifully.

Can't believe Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is getting a second season and I still haven't seen the first season yet. I'll probably binge it just before this new season airs

Everyday247:
Call of the night season 2 and Dandadan season 2 have dropped, and you guys are taking about an anime made by a YouTuber?

Not just any YouTuber. One of the pioneers of the YouTube anime game and the greatest to ever do it. Put some respect on his name

pu7pl3:
Did you read the article?

Leave agenda people. 11th no far again, make all this noise end

abduleez1:
Goddamn.....this is looking pristine.

Hans Zimmer, studio DNEG and a Bollywood epic?
Count me in.

This might probably be the project to bring me back to the Bollywood fold.

What I don't like about their movies is the excessive singing and dancing, especially doing that shït in a serious scene. It just takes out of the experience and makes it hard to take such project seriously.

As a prime enjoyer of Bahubbali 1&2 I can say, I'm seated for this. Looking like a $120-150mn production spend.
I hope this is very serious and omit or reduce those dancing to the bearest minimum. I get it it's part of their culture but this wasn't the case in GOAT films like 3 Idiots.
Also make dem make the action realistic small abeg. No be to dey make fight scene too comical and artificial with "film tricks". 🌚

Indians have the platform and ability to match Hollywood with their biggest projects but they somehow are underperforming with the execution. They can spend big too, have the massive domestic market and support, good infrastructure support, technical skill and distribution networks but they're failing in the international appeal.

This seems to amaze me cos this people had a generation in chokehold around the world decades ago. Well, they say: nothing lasts forever.
Now Korea and Japan has stolen that thunder.
I'm hoping Nollywood can do the same in the foreseeable future. 👀🌚

China just flexed its muscles earlier this year on their might if they set their hearts to it, with NE ZHA 2.
These countries are the two Asian and few countries in the world who can spend eye watering amounts on blockbuster projects asides the US and to a lesser extent the UK.

By the time a proper trailer drops, I'm sure this will take the world by storm, bigger than Bahubali and RRR

pu7pl3:
Bollywood has had many great stories over the years but I don't watch Bollywood for their stories at all, if you know what I mean.

Finished man 😂🤣😂

abduleez1:
Make Baba dey deceive himself. Person watch part one years ago, still come back for part two, even first many of us wey enjoy the first one watch am on very day of release.

Who's deceiving who.

He go still first us watch part 3

Such a full circle moment. From talking about anime to now making his very own anime, Garnt "Gigguk" Maneetapho announces Baan

Achilles100:
I was about to come post about Dan da Dan.

Na me be Okarun. You no fit run pass me

toluxe0075:
It seems Bollywood is going all out on this one. I hope they have a solid story sha because I don’t want to see another poor story like Adipurush they made two years ago. I hope it does well too because the success would finally push the likes of Aamir Khan and S. S. Rajamouli to make the Mahabharata movie they’ve been talking about making for years now.

I don't see a world where this Ramayana movie making bank doesn't fast track a Mahabharata production.

I'm going to trust in Ranbir Kapoor's ability to pick a good script. I doubt the story would be poor. Might end up being mid at worst.

Dandadan Thursdays are back. Tomorrow, we get Call of the Night S2 and Dress-up Darling S2 over the weekend.

Can't believe they're making us wait almost 3 weeks for Kaiju No. 8 S2.

Got put on to The Ramayana by a Twitter mutual. Still never got around to reading it yet. Same old story.

Anyways, Bollywood thought kindly to make a massive budget movie about it. Folks, this thing is looking like the biggest thing to come out of Bollywood this decade. I'm definitely sat.

Oh, and I found Hans Zimmer. Turns out the Indians have him. Jokes aside, a Hans Zimmer x A. R. Rahman collabo is not something I ever imagined but I now absolutely can't wait to hear what these 2 G.O.A.T.s have cooked

MSGAMBLE9:
Yep, not a great series buh certainly a good watch driven by pain, guilt and unrestrained ambitions of flawed humans....

Still in episode 2. Really like Natalie and her rapport with Riri.

The internet's been buzzing about Sacha Baron Cohen's Mephisto so I can't wait to see that.

Just have to finish Jack Ryan S4 first

MSGAMBLE9:
Feel free not to buh it's kind of childish shitting on what you haven't seen or check out...

Have you finished it?

armadeo:
Liat ain't complete without this guy

Lol! He might be in Nolan's next movie sha. Man's everywhere

This might rival Oppenheimer's lineup. Everybody wants to work with Dee Christopher. Even me sef go like collect random crew member #27 or something like that

samistry:
They have to be pulling our legs because I don't understand the casting choices for this movie 🤣

"For you, the day I was cast as Bison was the most devastating day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday."

samistry:
Who is this?

I mean, it's obvious. Some tried to claim he was injured but El Grandé Americano is back

Sunday Movie

Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024)
I've been dodging spoilers for this from TikTok to YouTube Shorts. Finally time to see it and free myself.
