You people are the reason that authentic foreign publishers do not like to take on Nigerian authors and publish their works. When you are done down-loading books for free, who will pay the author, publisher and agents for their hard work?
Tomorrow now, all of you will come and make noise on NL about how you can't find a publisher for your book.

Little wonder we don't have any publishers and literary agents in Nigeria.

By the way, Mr. OP, do you have the copyright, or re-distribution right of these novels you are letting people download from your blog/website for free? Hope you know what you're doing is against the law.

Just imagine if say na your novel people dey download like dis for free. How you go chop the fruit of your labor? "Do unto others as you will want them to do unto you," na pastor talk am for church! And I'll bet most of you here are Christians and read the Bible.

Na like dis una dey take re-brand Naija? Na we dey carry our own hand destroy our opportunity. I don talk my own.

I dont do nigerian authors. I believe U buy CDs (films/music) inside holdups/stores, etc and I wuld want to believe u knw that 90% of them are pirated!! Remove the Log in ur own eyes b4 u think abt the speck in mine.

I have the Twilight Series and complete C.S Lewis books on the site. U can search for them on the right hand side of the blog where the names of authors and titles of books are listed.

I knw I promised to resume uploading this early January but u all will have to forgive me as I am in d middle of registering for a Master prgm which is taking up the little time I hv.

I have over 100 books of Nora Roberts so am sure the ones u requested will be among. I will upload them in January cos right now am enjoying the Xmas Break.

After downloading the books, U need a software called Winzip or WINRAR to unzip/bring out the books inside the folder. Just ask around pple with computer they would be able to install it on your system. You can also download the software yourself. Its a very small file (like 4-5mins to dload). Just type WINRAR download in google to get it.

The books are in PDF format but you must unzip them out first.

i tried downloading some Dean Koontz and Ken Folliet from your archives and its not downloading. seems the publishers have pulled the books from the site. pls whats happening?

I just checked the links this morning and they are all working fine. Use Internet Explorer ONLY to download the books on the site. Blogger doenst work too well on opera and the other browsers.

sorry for the seemingly long break in uploading new books. Bin on leave for a while (till end of december). The way it stands right now, it means new uploads will only be possible as from january 2010.

For those who have left comments on the books they want, i have compiled all the requests and will start uploading them from Jan. 2010.

K.D.K, thanks but I aint downloading anything from the web until further notice - I don't want to pick up another virus by mistake . But anyhow, just checked my library and realised I've downloaded the books already back then (like I suspected). And as for book choice, do you have any Catherine Cookson? That's the only writer I feel like reading right now. Thanks anyway, you're a gem .

U can download the winzip/winrar software from their site. Its a very safe programme. I will try to get Catherine Cookson for you.

Ok, mr K.D.K. . Here's a question though, why are the files now in .rar format? I download them but can't open them. I went to the March 09 series to get the Twilight Saga books, downloaded it, but it won't open. What happened to the .pdf format? Pls help bc I need to read those books soon !

Sorry abt the .rar format. I had to be zipping/compressing the files before uploading to save space. All you need to

do to open any file u download on the site is to install a WINRAR or WINZIP software on ur system to be able to unzip or unrar the books inside (the books are still in pdf).

They are very popular, free and small sized software utilities. Just type it in google, download and install

or u culd also jst ask friends cos most pple have dem on their computers. the size shuldnt be more than 4mb

(abt 2-6mins to download depending on ur connection).

Do you guys have any book/author you wuld love put up on the site? just post the title and the author here.
