Stockholm syndrome or the daughter of Eve knows she was the curse of her own misfortunes. You can't wake up a sleeping beast and still blame it for hurting you. China did forced abortion for over a decade and heaven did not fall. You think like this because of religious indoctrination and mental conditioning you have been subjected to all your life.

Yes, abortion is a viable option as it is better not to exist than to live a life of indignity. I will suggest Nigerian government start forced abortion for extremely poor people as a means of population control.

It is cruel to bring a child into generation al poverty and suffering. I have friends who have aborted and enjoying their lives.

I am not joking when I mentioned I am not your typical Nigerian/African.
whats your definition of enjoying lives, lemme guess drink hennessy, drive exotic cars, eat full chicken, play PS 5, club or carry olosho per night ... and men with kids cant do any of that🤣🤣

Do you know whats like to watch a mini you grow rite in front of you every day, exhibiting your traits nd allerges, kids say somethings to you, you just glow laughing

Many years down the line you look at those kids and you will realize they are the best thing that can happen to you esp. when you train dem well ...

Several countries have implemented or proposed diaspora taxes to tap into the financial resources of their citizens living abroad.

Pay attention to how it is implemented in some country.

Here are some examples:

Countries with Diaspora Taxes
1. India: India has a diaspora tax, also known as the "Overseas Citizenship of India" (OCI) fee, which is levied on Indian citizens living abroad.
2. Eritrea: Eritrea has a diaspora tax, known as the "2% diaspora tax," which is levied on Eritrean citizens living abroad.
3. Ethiopia: Ethiopia has a diaspora tax, known as the "Diaspora Bond," which is a type of bond sold to Ethiopian citizens living abroad.
4. Rwanda: Rwanda has a diaspora tax, known as the "Agaciro Development Fund," which is a voluntary contribution scheme for Rwandan citizens living abroad.
5. Zambia: Zambia has proposed a diaspora tax, which would be levied on Zambian citizens living abroad.
6. Tanzania: Tanzania has proposed a diaspora tax, which would be levied on Tanzanian citizens living abroad.
7. Uganda: Uganda has proposed a diaspora tax, which would be levied on Ugandan citizens living abroad.

Countries with Proposed or Considered Diaspora Taxes
1. Kenya: Kenya has considered introducing a diaspora tax, but it has not yet been implemented.
2. Nigeria: Nigeria has proposed a diaspora tax, but it has not yet been implemented.
3. Ghana: Ghana has considered introducing a diaspora tax, but it has not yet been implemented.
Its not everything you see you must copy copy, those countries you listed with implemented diaspora tax which one failed it citizen more than Nigeria did,
80% of Nigerians in diaspora left these country with disappointment, they left cos they saw no hope in Nigeria, they left with grudges against the govt ... and these are the people you want to TAX just because they want to come home to there father land to spend there hard earn money

Those in diaspora take flight, they paid who owns airport, VAT applicable who collect it, that one no reach

Never let anyone blackmail you into a marriage unprepared, belle or not. She has the option to terminate the pregnancy if she does not want the title of a baby mama. When she had her legs raised in the air screaming, HARDER! HARDER! GIVE IT TO ME!, What was she thinking about? The sex was consensual and that was the end of business.

I REPEAT, never let the lady , her family, your family or ANYONE blackmail you into a marriage you are not prepared for. Having sex and marrying are two different kettle of fish. You may not even like her enough for marriage.

Wtf men!
why release inside her, if you dont want any lady to tie you down then dont leave any opportunity

Go check the story of folks like Rockefeller, Ford, Iaccocca, Zuckerberg, Musk, Bezos, Gates etc

Till today they are known as sharks or hawks because of the winner takes all approach they have to business

Most economic theories don't work in Nigeria due to weak regulatory oversight due to corruption and the fact that majority of Nigerians operate in the informal sector of the economy. Thus macroeconomic policies lag the economy instead of leading it. For example, CBN is claiming that the liquid money in the system has gone up by over 100% in the last five years. Yet, most of the monies can't be accounted for by the system.

Greed impedes competition but that is exactly why you have anti-trust. Go and read up on the history of anti-trust. Capitalism is fueled by greed.
Now these is complete going off the pitch abi stadium 🤣

Survival is pertinent to every business just as "Air" to Men, those guyz are tagged sharks not becos they eat competitors per say But they have capacity to sway the market in whatever direction, like dangote did to cement smiley
imagine i drive a Prado jeep and you drive a benz e350, we are in a race, but i can decide the race route grin think like a shark
Winner takes all sounds more of a norm than Greed, star prize are not meant to be shared

while i agree weak regulatory bodies are part of the challenges, you cant filter corruption out of greed, however lets leave corruption to political talks

This is about people and market behavior, economic theories like forces of demand and supply determine price is not potent in Nigeria market terrain because "Greed" is the way

i have seen trader association rise against a fellow seller that is not selling at the price they fixed, in my area everyone sells egg for #300 but if i can walk 15min away i will get it #250 per one

Most of the money assume to be in circulation are stashed or trapped in forex, rich people save their money in dollars now ... Cbn are just playing retard and wasting our time with counterproductive policies

Yes but greed is not a crime
It is immoral but not criminal
Economic theories have nothing to do with morality
yeah ! buh greed unchecked wil most likely lead into one form of crime,

Have you ever wonder why economic theories dont work on Nigeria thats because in most cases we have a peculiar defect which is organic greed cheesy

You are trying so hard to discard base on Morality, buh listen "immoral abait Greed, greed impedes competitive market, and when challenges like that go on it neutralizes economic theories from taken effect. That's the connection smiley

No developed country controls price. That's why it is a free market. What they have is regulations to ensure standards.

Filling stations that tamper with their meters are being fraudulent. They get away with it due to the weak regulatory environment.

Again, Dangote selling his cement at 9,600 per bag despite almost all his inputs being locally sourced is a sign of greed. But it's not illegal.

But Dangote making substandard cement and selling it as if it were standard is fraud.

If the Alaba product is packaged as if it were a brand known for its quality and sold at such price, that is fraud.

Samsung phone being more expensive than Tecno is due to greed not fraud. I hope you're getting it cause you seem to be too fixated on the Nigerian culture to realise a lot of fraud is overlooked in Nigeria.

If I make a gucci shoe in my room and sell it for 10k when the original is 50k,I have not committed fraud since I did not package it like the original gucci not sell it at same price.

However, if I get my gucci packaged and dressed to look exactly like the original and go ahead to sell it for 50k, I have committed fraud and should get arrested. I hope you can see the difference
lolz i see your twist with dangote, i dont know any cement in Nig better that dangote and sourcing locally does not negate thigh cost of production/ operation as evidently seen in Nigeria.
Oga greed n fraud are complimentary, people commit fraud to satisfy some urges of Greed in them or will someone content go into fraud huh

Greed can propel all kinds of crime even upto "murder"

What is profit margin? Who or what determines what margin is fair and unfair?

What you're describing in terms of greed is not greed. That's fraud. There's a difference. Fraud is a legal term that's criminal in nature. Greed is not criminal. It is a question of morality. Capitalism is not a moral exercise. What serves as the deterrent for greed is making the market competitive. The deterrent for fraud is conviction. I hope you can spot the difference now
See question despite everything i said, in develop countries you will find active consumer protection and price control agencies in place they act as intermediary between sellers and buyers to mitigate expliotation and greed.

In business world selling substandard as a top quality is not fraud per say", products have grades that is why you dont see our brothers in Alaba going to jail like its xmas

Greed is the most logical explanation why tunji will want to sell local rice to naive customers as imported cap rice ... imagine the wide profit thats greed, thats the greed i am talking about

We can't address greed in naija markets without bringing up morals, Moral is why Bovas have not tappered there machine pump and they sell pms at ideal price even during scarcity

Most filling stations in Nigeria tapper there machine and still sell pms at maximized profit ... thats greed

What the market need is measures like consumer protection and price regulatory agency to mitigate, shortchange, fraud or greed cheesy

There's nothing line Profit inclined. You either want to make a gain off your services or you don't.

Google anti-trust to see that capitalism has greed as its core
Even Adam Smith in his definition concurred that human needs are unlimited
Oga you lack understanding of Business terms, you just "explained" profit incline yourselve cheesy

There is something called "profit margin" the the moment you cross that line thats "Greed"

What dangote refinery is doing as regards "pricing" can be termed "profit incline"

What bovas, filling station is doing among marketers is profit incline,

what marketers are doing importing substandard fuel and selling at same price or above dangote price thats "Greed"

i dont know how simplier i can explain smiley

selling fake oraimo power bank at price of original one thats not profit making, re packaging local rice as imported cap rice thats the greed that dominate naija market

It seems you're unaware that the basic principle on which capitalism is founded on greed.
So your criticism of greed as the reason economic theories do not work in Nigeria is off the mark
There's none greedier than the West
Perhaps those whom you defend are just incompetent in applying the theories
Oga these your assumption or assertion is unfounded, capitalist are profit inclined we know but would anyone say " profit inclined" and "greed" are the same cheesy

when you finally comprehend greed and profit inclined are not same you might understand "Greed" is one major challenge in Nigeria.

In developed countries there are regulatory and price control measures in place just mitigate the tendencies of greed But in Nigeria everything goes, traders even form associations to force price to exploit Nigerians
