Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's Acting President, will on Friday join other world leaders to witness the inauguration of President Paul Kagame of Rwanda in the country’s capital, Kigali.

This is according to his spokesman, Laolu Akande, who made the disclosure in a statement.

A 25-year-old woman, Mwuese Keleve, has been arrested by the Nasarawa Police Command, for allegedly murdering her three-day-old child in the Kadarko area of Keana Local Government Area of the state.

DSP Idirisu Kennedy, the state's Police Public Relation Officer, who hinted this in an interview with Northern City News on Thursday in Lafia, said the command on Monday received a report about the corpse of a baby found in a river in the Keana Local Government Area. Spain saw one of its most violent days in recent memory as a spate of incidents throughout the country appeared to be connected to a terror attack on Thursday in Barcelona that left 13 people dead and more than 100 injured.

The Federal Government has ordered that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu be returned to prison.

The Government is asking the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to revoke the bail it granted Kanu.

A 41-year-old woman has been arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police, for contracting a man to kill her business partner in Kumasi.

The suspect, whose name was given as Joyce Antwi, a trader and a resident in Buokrom Estate, and her intended victim are business partners who trade in plywood at Akwatia Line, a suburb of Kumasi.

According to reports, in October 2015, Joyce collected an amount of GHS99,000 from the victim to fund her business with a promise to pay back.

A Cameroonian Archbishop of Bafia, Mgr Jean Marie Benoît Balla has reportedly committed suicide by jumping into the Sanaga River around the Ebebda Bridge in Cameroon.

The clergyman's Land Cruiser SUV with registration plate number CE 9503V was found on the Ebebda bridge Wednesday afternoon- about 90km from Yaounde.
