A ghastly motor accident involving a commercial bus in Lagos has claimed the lives of 11 passengers, while three others were injured.

The accident reportedly claimed the lives of eleven people comprised of eight males and three females.

The general manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Michael Akindele, confirmed the accident, adding that it occurred when the 14-seater passenger Volkswagen bus lost its brake and somersaulted, busting into flames.

He said:

“Eleven persons, which include three females and eight males were burnt dead. Three persons were rescued alive and were taken to the accident and emergency unit at toll gate.

"Policemen and fire fighters were on ground to put off the fire and clear the obstruction the accident might have caused.”

PM News reports that the driver of the bus had escaped.......

Dozens of wrestlers drag WWE to court, READ why

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc popularly known as WWE was sued on Monday by dozens of retired wrestlers seeking to hold it responsible for neurological injuries they claimed to suffer by participating in its bouts.

According to Yahoo UK, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and dozens of other retired male and female wrestlers filed the complaint on behalf of more than 50 plaintiffs who have performed with WWE or its predecessors since the 1970s.

The wrestlers accused WWE Chairman Vince McMahon of intentionally classifying wrestlers as “independent contractors” rather than employees, as a means to avoid liability under applicable worker protection laws.

Others who filed the suit are Joseph “Road Warrior Animal” Laurinaitis and Paul “Mr. Wonderful” Orndorff.

“WWE placed corporate gain over its wrestlers’ health, safety, and financial security, choosing to leave the plaintiffs severely injured and with no recourse to treat their damaged minds and bodies,” the complaint said.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages, as well as improved medical monitoring. WWE, in a statement, called the lawsuit another attempt to hold it liable by a lawyer who had two earlier lawsuits dismissed.

The company added that “we’re confident this lawsuit will suffer the same fate”.

In the past, WWE has won the dismissal of some claims in other lawsuits accusing it of hiding the risk................

In an interview with Leadership, Paulina said she was in Sambisa forest for a year before she escaped. She said the treatment from the terrorists was terrible as they were sometimes beaten.

Most of the abducted girls have been married off to the Boko Haram fighters while a number of them were sent on suicide missions but even at that, some strong hearted women refused to change their faith.”

She said when the army cut their food supply; they were left to starve for days.

“I am glad I escaped but I will tell you that my escape is more of a divine provision than self-effort. While we were staying in Sambisa, we learnt that an old Fulani man rearing cows had helped two women to escape so we met him and asked for his assistance to help us escape and he agreed. On the appointed date, we sneaked at about 7pm to meet the man resulting in a four day trek to freedom......

A Zimbabwean woman was recently stripped naked and brutalized after news of her alleged affair with her married boss leaked to his wife.

The woman, identified as Sandra Chibanda, was stripped naked, splashed with opaque beer and bashed by her boss’ wife identified only as Mai Jerry.

According to Hmetro, Mai Jerry teamed up with her three friends and stormed Sandra’s workplace after she learnt of her husband, Gerald Nyamunetsi's affair with his staff, demanding to know the nature of their relationship.

The quartet arrived, armed with a pair of scissors and two bottles of opaque beer and intruded into the

It emerged that Sandra was helped by Mai Jerry’s mother to get the job as a cook at MVI Coaches and that Nyamunetsi had built a house for Sandra’s mother in Seke.

“Was it not my mother who helped you secure a job here? And this is how you pay her by bedding her daughter’s husband, you made me bake cakes for your children using my husband’s money making me appear like a fool.
