An american base notorious 'godfather' who sold machines guns to criminals in Birmingham while at the heart of a gang which gunned down two innocent girls in a botched attack has been jailed for 16 years...

Police say the gun dealer, known as 'Nosa', believed he was 'untouchable' as he ran the operation alongside fellow gang members from inside the infamous Burger Bar Boys gang...

The gang - which for years fought a bloody and protracted feud with the rival Johnson Crew - trafficked weapons including a MAC 10 machine gun, a brutal weapon which was used in one of Birmingham's most notorious murders.

Letisha Shakespeare and Charlene Ellis were innocent victims caught in the crossfire of the two warring gangs, whose turf war blighted the Aston area of Birmingham for over a decade and cost dozens of lives.

Their murders, which took place in 2003, propelled Birmingham’s gun crime problem into the national headlines and kick-started campaigns by residents who had grown tired of the daily acts of violence.. ..

Eighteen men have now been convicted for a series of offences relating to the criminal firearms operation which Stephenson ran.

As he was jailed for 16 years, Detective Constable Phil Rodgers said the police operation - and subsequent haul of dozens of weapons and ammunition - had undoubtedly prevented more murders in the city.

The court heard how the gang had thousands of rounds of ammunition specially made to be used with guns and revolvers, which they sold for about £3,000 each.

A mother from Bangladeshi has given birth to conjoined twins - with two heads but one body. The baby was born on Wednesday, November 11, in Dhaka, Bangladesh by Caesarean section and is currently receiving post-natal care at the government hospital. A doctor at the Standard Hospital of Total Healthcare where the baby was born, Abu Kawsar said that tests showed the baby has only one set of vital body organs but two heads...

"Except for having two heads, the newborn has the rest of her organs and limbs like a normal newborn." he said.

The baby’s condition could thus be an example of the very rare congenital condition calleddicephalic parapagus where the baby is born with two heads but only one body. Although, people often think of a baby with the condition as a single person with two heads, the baby is actually a set of twins who share the same body and vital organs...

The baby's father Mia Jamal, a farm labourer said he is happy mother and child are OK. "She has two fully developed heads. She is eating with two mouths and breathing with two noses. Still, I thank Allah that she and the mother are now OK,' he told the news agency AFP..

When I say graphic, I mean terible graphics and so sad! According to reports, a male student of the University of Professional Studies, Accra stabbed his girlfriend to death late last night/in the early hours of the morning.

The unidentified student allegedly stabbed the lady severally in the neck, chest and head after he suspected she was cheating on him. The body of the deceased has been sent to the Alfa Hospital at Madina.

While the accused who attempted to commit suicide after the heinous crime is being treated in hospital.

According to Ghana's Starr News, the boy is in critical condition after his failed suicide attempt. The alleged photos are horrific to look at. See them after the cut.....

Elderly couple, 67 year old Charles Mckenzie and his 63 year old wife, Dorothy, have both died while having sex in a hotel hot tub., The couple were found dead in the tub at the Playaca Palace hotel in Mexico.

The Canadian couple had travelled for a holiday for their daughter's wedding which was supposed to take place yesterday, Thursday Nov 12th....

However their getaway turned to tragedy, with authorities finding that Charles suffered a heart attack.

Initially, when the couple was discovered, they thought they died due to an electric fault in the tub but autopsy reports stated that the husband died of a heart attack.

His wife Dorothy then died of "asphyxiation by submersion", it is understood.

The couple, from Baddeck, Novia Scotia, were both found on Tuesday morning at 10am - just two days before their daughter was due to get married..

A spokesman for the Playaca Palace hotel said: "The room was perfectly fine.
"All the equipment was working perfectly. "What the family mentioned was a heart attack..

A 25year-old WOMAN, mother of four, Nkechi Obi, who tried to sell a one-week-old baby boy, who was stolen in Onitsha, Anambra State, to a barren woman in Lagos, has been arrested.

The suspect, who claimed to be a farmer and an apprentice in Onitsha, said she was on her way to hand over the baby to the buyer at Cele Bus Stop, along the Oshodi/Apapa Express-way, when she was arrested..

It was gathered that the baby was stolen from his biological mother, who ran away from home when she found out she was pregnant..

Trouble started for the suspect after the driver of the vehicle she chartered from Asaba, Delta State, became suspicious when he observed that even though the baby cried uncontrollably throughout the 6 hour journey to Lagos, the suspect never breastfed the baby. When he asked her about his observation, she gave some unsatisfactory explanation, the driver who didn't believe her explanation, was said to have stopped at Oshodi, where he alerted some policemen who proceeded to interrogate Obi. It was during that process that they discovered that the baby was not hers.

She claimed that the baby was given to her by her boss, whose identity she gave simply as Ngozi.

She said:
“I was in the shop located at 2 Ourline Street, Onitsha Main Market on Tuesday, when my madam, who I sell clothes for, came and ordered me to go and change into something better, that I was to embark on a journey to Lagos.

“Thereafter, she handed the baby to me and gave me a food flask and baby milk. She only gave me the telephone number of the woman I was to hand the baby over to. The woman in question is barren. I was to meet with her at Cele Bus Stop. The would-be buyer was arrested.”

It was reported that the would-be buyer had two female children, but opted to adopt a male child due to pressure from her husband who threatened to marry another woman.
When asked if her Husband was aware of her intentions, she said:
She said: “I got married aged 16 years to Polycap Eze, who had no child from his wife. I was brought in to bear children for them. After the birth of my fourth child, he drove me out of the house, saying I have fulfilled the purpose for which he married me.

“I moved in with one of my relatives who later introduced me to my madam.”

Speaking on her arrest, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni said:
“She claimed at first that her lover abandoned her with the baby. Later, she confessed that her aunt was a co-suspect. Two other persons, who have connection with the sale of the one-week-old baby, were also arrested.

“We have kept the baby in proper custody through the Family Support Unit. Further investigation into the case has.....
