This is how in the Cyber/hacking Culture people speek . I can Type very well and without any Error's . Thou I do it on purpose because I do not care for your Idols , gods or even a single Ideal that you call God , Morality , and Filty things like keeping ones self Systematic . I belive in Choas and that is how I was formed .

Having to be able to type properly has nothing to do with being a good programmer . Oh yes I am a good programmer even thou I have only messed around with C most of my Life . I can do alot with that Tinny Yucky language than most of you would not in this life time be able to do with VB or Java . Go Figure

Am I offeneded ? Yes I am , You could make a living with VB [HELL YEAH] . I know many good programmers who Study Visual Basic .net and make a good living out of it . Thou My point was a simple one . Dont go for it if you alread dont know it . Coz there is no use in Learning a language that hasnt set up any standards since it was born . unlike C where all other Major languages are following its syntax rules Ofcourse but our Brothering VB has its own way of looking at things ?

Lets see . Was there a Reson to create the Syntax that way ? I mean just say Dim this and that is it . Store an Integer or a string dosnt matter ? How stupid is that ? I have yet to see good book that teach you how to do DSP programming with VB or maybe make like a book on cryptography that teachs you how to create a MD5 with VB ? how about I create an Algorithm with it eh ? Oh no Wait , I forgot Can I create an OS with it or even better Compiler ? You see the Use of your Language ? I bet even VB.net cannot stand the Stress of that ? Do you think .net was created for making GUI rich Clients ? I belive not . It was made for the new ASP called ASP.net . Thats it . Go figure

Last for Last , find me a single university that would prefer to Teach you Basic over C and if you do . Please provide some information as to Why did they choose that language ? Was it because it was easy ? I belive not . Most of you programmers making a living by doing HLL apps while having no Idea about operating system, system call mechanisms and basic libraries .

Hey Buddy , Cool to know some in Nigeria is into Such a Field as IT security .

Me and couple of my pals are creating a web site , Mostly focused on the Nigerian IT wannabe's interested in Things like Software Cracking , Reverse engenring , Hacking , IT security , Cryptography and what not .

I am hoping that this site will be online soon . I will also post some of my small Gadgets I have writting like IE hidder , Key logger and some more things . Ofcourse without the Source Code

but yes the source code would be available to many ( Which would be givin to a selected few). Plus we will have other IT proffesionals who are into IT security and the world of Hacking .
There is a File called the hackers Jargon and The Hackers Manifesto . Some people still consider Hackers as the Bad people , But My apologies to those who think so . You must be confusing a guy who uses a 40 CD Copying machine to Copy DVD's to sell and a person who knows alot about the Internals of a Computer and is able to do things the Manufacture never thought was possible ,

Why use Miracle C . I know some books say use it . Thou I would prefer if you used VS or Bore land hehe or Dev C++ compiler .

First you need to create a Web Page . By using HTML

Thats It . Its just a personal website , Right ? No need to do any Data Manupilations or Programming in short . So HTML is really easy to understand and to begin with . You could even use a programm that allows you to create web sites . Like Front Page or Dreamweaver .

Well i think you are misatekn saying learning VB would help in a smooth transation from one language to another . VB is going to not olny Be simple but Childish and will spoil the way a programmer writes codes .

A Programm to begin with which would help you understand other languages Easily would be Assembly and C .

Thou if you are interested in OOP . Then go for C++ . Dont go for Java or C# yet . That would be a very stupid IDea ,

A good book on C is Programming in C
A good C++ book is Thinking in C++
A good Assembly book is 80x86 assembly programming and computer Architecture

If you understand these languages . Then you almost know what going on with any Code .

Hummm , You can get some .net Classes that do that .Search the net for them . Thou you would have to buy them or if you are looking for a free solution then maybe SourceForge has something interesting in store for you .

There is nothing wrong in those HLL languages you can create fine apps but Indeed you dont really know what the hell is going on . Oh yeah you wrote the Code but not the Compiler or the Kernal ? I am just saying people got to stop showing of and got to get smarter . Computers isnt a profession . Its an Art and must be respected . Well Actually real Computing is pure Art .

So you see , Doesnt matter how much you create . What really matters is if what you create is enought for that life time . anyways , I study Electronics and Kernel Development . I am new to it but have been programming since 5 years now . Havt created anything Commercial coz I dont feel the need to make any money right now . Its just work work work and some more of it . Till you feel people are ready for your stuff and you dont need anyother Skill .

My name is Karan and I have been programming for 4 years now . I am not much of a programmer but hope to become one . My main focus in the past was netowkr security then I picked up on programming since I needed to learn how to create my own tools .

Well Finally I think I have made up my Mind . I will focus primaryly on IT security . For that I am currently learning Assembly language the MIPS and Intel instruction set . I would like to know if there is any teacher available or if there are people in here who are programming in ASM .

I know what most of you think , What would he use that For ? Well IT security and ASM have a close relationship . To be able to find expliots in the kernal and software one mstr learn to read Low level instructions that are based on the Chip set you are working on . Plus better undertanding of programming concepts and the complete control of the OS .

So if you guys know of any cool places on the wed I could chill at and learn some ASM , let me know about them .
