Utonwanne:The very ROSS BARKLEY of Chelsea and formerly of Everton. He opted for England over NIGERIA because of his divorced parents since mother is British. Read about him. |
iSlayer:He could do it as number 10 like he said and trust me, When a player says something about themselves, always believe them because it is coming from their heart. Why not? If IWOBI can be deployed as a Winger and sometimes as AM, Why not KALU like he said. |
Koboko99:Yes very true. COAST IS CLEAR Didier Drogba was offered Chelsea coaching job in summer but rejected it in bid to become Ivory Coast FA chief 15 Nov 2019, 14:00 DIDIER DROGBA turned down a "perfect" coaching job with Chelsea because he has his heart set on taking over as president of the Ivory Coast FA . The Blues legend confirmed that he had the chance to link up with former team-mate Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge this summer. Didier Drogba has chosen his country over a 'perfect' role at Chelsea Drogba , 41, is eyeing his next move after announcing his retirement following a short spell with Phoenix Rising last year. And he met club representatives to outline his plans if he is picked to replace Augustin Sidy Diallo. He said: "I had an offer to stay at Chelsea where everything would be perfect and conditions are met. "But I want to help Ivorian football because I love it! "I am a leader, and my vision is bigger than just the simple role of being a coach. A coach has an impact on a club – but I want to have an impact on an entire nation. "I want us to re-think football, with a nationwide vision, so we can develop the game here. The Ivory Coast has a glorious footballing past |
SAMUEL KALU Reveals His Two Best Positions; Partnership With Bordeaux Pal Josh Maja Published: November 15, 2019 Samuel Kalu has revealed that his two best playing positions are the support striker and winger roles. Predominantly a right winger, he has been deployed as a left winger by manager Gernot Rohr in his last two matches for the national team, with Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze playing as an inverted winger. Kalu showed his versatility by playing as a right wing-back in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa held in Johannesburg last year. Speaking to our colleagues Naija Footballers via YouTube , Kalu said :''I can play both sides of the flank, I also play as a supporting striker.'' The Bordeaux number 10 went on to reveal that he has a great relationship with Super Eagles teammate Josh Maja on the pitch. ''It's all good, sometimes if we play together, we work together, he always tells me to give him the crosses. ''Anytime both of us are playing, he will know that he will have a lot of crosses, he has to put himself in a good position.'' Kalu netted the game-winning goal for the Super Eagles as they came from a goal down to beat Benin 2-1 in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match on Wednesday. Ifeanyi Emmanuel ANS |
FRANCIS UZOHO: Nigeria keeper says knee operation 'a success' By Oluwashina Okeleji Football Writer, France 15 Nov Nigeria international goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has undergone successful surgery after sustaining knee ligament damage last month. Uzoho, 20, suffered the injury after the hour mark during the Super Eagles's 1-1 friendly draw with Brazil in Singapore and had to be carried off on a stretcher. His Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia confirmed the extent of the injury and that the Nigerian was facing an extended lay-off. "And it was a success. I'm grateful to every prayer and good wishes said. Even the hidden prayers said on my behalf," Uzoho wrote on social media. "I'm deeply grateful. Now let the healing begin." He is expected to be out for at least six months and the injury comes as a setback for Uzoho, who had regained his starting place and had been picked for both of Nigeria's most recent friendly internationals against Ukraine and Brazil. In search of regular football, Uzoho had returned for a second loan spell in Cyprus by joining Omonia Nicosia in July from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna. A lack of top-flight football had cost him his place as Nigeria's number one keeper ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, and consequently went into the tournament as third choice behind Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa. Capped 16 times by Nigeria, he played all three matches as the Super Eagles were knocked out of the 2018 World Cup in the group stage. He made a solitary appearance at this summer's Nations Cup in the win over Tunisia as the West African nation sealed a third place finish in Egypt BBC. |
andrewbaba44:KANTE did played yesterday though. France had qualified before yesterday game like you typed and they don't normally play a domineering football during qualifiers. Inspite of the retinue of superstars usually on parade for France, they always struggle during qualifiers. |

thundafire:That is exactly what I was saying. Not always with a single partner. If I get 98% chance, Another person too get the same 98% Another person again get 98%. Yoruba own na knacking always with 1 or 2 people Everytime. So HIV no go too much Unlike the Akwa ibom and others wey you mentioned with different people and na im make plenty people get HIV pass Yorubas. I hope you understand now |
thundafire:Not because of knacking ooo but because it is not usually with a single partner. Look. No one knacks like Yorubas ooo because I am talking from experience |
priceaction:. It is not Nonsense Bro. Yes many don't know because they don't patronize Government Hospitals but 1. Every state has higher institutions that Carry out medical examination on New entrants year in year out. 2. pregnant Women nowadays do have secret HIV test conducted on them without them knowing. They even ask them to come with their husbands. 3. Same thing with nursing mothers. 4. Every complaint now, The Doctor would order for some tests be carried out on you before prescription or diagnosis and included is HIV codedly. 5. For example, I was told to carry out 7 different tests and RVS was included. so costing official then circled the RVS before payment for the tests Then I asked him why he circled it? He Then smiled at me and asked if I had ever done HIV test before and I responded in the affirmative. He now asked me when And I told him 3 times-Once in 2015 and it was negative. Twice last year but I wasn't told the results. He then said okay and I should go and pay. so I said since I'm paying, I will do it again before he now directed me to where I can get the test done separate from the other tests location. Now, That is how I knew that this hospital or medical people have other coded names for HIV that ordinary people don't know. 6. so, it is the statistics of these few people I referred that they use. 7. Meaning that if everyone should have access to the hospital like you are thinking, then more people would be discovered to have HIV and the prevalence figure given would be higher. |
byna:byna! Yes you are at fault ooo with this your comment. Women are actually Queens and must be treated as such! Hope you read my previous response that I did mentioned you though. |
oglalasioux:Who should be carrying out the beating in the case you've just posited? You mean, 1. My wife would beat me and bribe with sex for settlement? 2. Or that I would have to beat her before having sex? 3. If number 2 is the case, What if I am not a woman beater nko? 4. Does that mean there would be No sex for me since I'm not a woman beater? 5. Did she told me about that as her TURN ON during courtship and I would go ahead marrying her against my principle of mutual respect? 6. What if I never got angry with any negative thing she does out of genuine LOVE for her? hence no sex for loving her except when I hate on her? 7. Was it hatred for her that endeared her to me or LOVE? 8. I would rather marry another Wife without divorcing her so that sex starvation would send her packing by herself Even if 1 is the case. 9. if the case is that she enjoys beating me before mending fences with sex @ Oga byna, 1. Please forget about say your John Thomas no gree stand that day ooo. 2. Na because of your mind set and now that you know that her actions are all saying 'Honey I'm sorry. please forgive and forget' whenever she is naked, Then it would never disappoint you again. 3. In fact, even if e no stand, pre-intimacy wey she go do with you will reset your brain make e stand because she really really LOVES YOU I must confess. 4. Because Women cherishes a Man telling them Baby I'm sorry rather than them saying that to you whether they are right or wrong in any dispute. 5. Just thank God say the number 4 na theory but the practical dey your house. 6. So which science student go say he no know practical or e never do practical for science laboratory before? 7. Always enjoy your practical oooo. 8. Dey chuk am Bura/Oko well well because she dey enjoy am because she loves you go moon come back! |

AFCON Qualifiers: See What Joe Aribo Said Following Super Eagles Victory Over Benin POST by Joba Ogunwale — Reactions continue to trail Super Eagles victory over Benin Republic in the AFCON 2021 Group L qualifier that was played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. Goals from Victor Osimhen and Samuel Kalu secured the three points for Nigeria after Stephane Sessegnon had put the Squirrels ahead in the 2nd minute. Following the win, Super Eagles players including Joe Aribo took to their social media pages to express their delight in the victory. Aribo who was not expected to start after arriving on the eve of the match gave a man of the match performance in what was his first game on home soil. After the match, the Rangers midfielder took to his Twitter page to express his excitement at the team’s victory. “Good win in our first AFCON 2021 qualifying game! Always an honour putting on the shirt. Thanks for your amazing support!”, Aribo said on Twitter. Joe Aribo @J_Aribo19 Good win in our first AFCON 2021 qualifying game! Always an honour putting on the shirt. Thanks for your amazing support! #SoarSuperEagles Meanwhile, Gernot Rohr has revealed why the former Charlton man started the game despite arriving on Tuesday. Responding to the question posed by Soccernet.ng Chief Editor, Rohr revealed Aribo told him he is ready to play. “Aribo told me he was not tired after a long flight, and I have confidence in my players when they tell me they are ready to play,” Rohr began. “Also his father was here and this his (Aribo’s) second time coming into the country, so it was important for him to play.” Aribo and the Super Eagles will hope to make it two wins out of two when they take on Lesotho in the second round of matches of Group L. |
But we can't blame him for he is a journalist and has to air his opinion. I personally dislike Players using NIGERIA to play Ludo whenever they are being approach too It often irritate me that they never learn lessons from DELE ALI, GABRIEL AGBOLAHOR, JOHN FASHANU, CARLTON COLE, UGO EHIOGU, ROSE BARKLEY (though still playing) etc Who never played enough before being dumped kellycute: ![]() |
Kbs468:Imagine Tomori playing for NIGERIA and also featuring in the OLYMPICS should NIGERIA qualify alongside other Stars presently in the super Eagles eligible Age-wise, That would amount to reminiscing the 1996 Atlanta OLYMPICS Gold winning feat. Addendum : A combination of AINA EKONG AJAYI with a better LB than JEMILU or IDOWU (JEMILU for now since no one else) would be superb for a mid-field Anchorage on NDIDI ETEBO ARIBO MUSA pinpointing a twin strike force of OSIMHEN CHUKWUEZE with SIMON and KALU coming on for CHUKWUEZE & MUSA Would be deadly against LESOTHO come Sunday. Note : The 4 4 2 formation above is premised on the fact that In either of our 4 3 3 or 4 2 3 1 formations being deployed previously, the Wingers have failed to Link up with OSIMHEN- The point Man effectively as they aren't good crossers of the Ball for great pull out domination. Though I would have preferred BALOGUN to EKONG but lack of game time in his Club has been his bane What do you all think about this? Have your say please. |
LIFELINE For NIGERIA As SOUTHGATE Snubs TOMORI AGAIN In England Win Published: November 15, 2019 The NFF have been handed a lifeline over their pursuit of young Chelsea defender, Fikayo Tomori after England manager Gareth Southgate failed to utilise him in their European Championship qualifier versus Montenegro on Thursday evening. Tomori, 21 was on the radar of the Nigerian higher-ups prior to his call-ups to play for England, and could have become cap-tied for life to the Three Lions if he played even for a minute in the big win at Wembley. The dual-eligible defender was an unused substitute in each of England's last two qualification games before yesterday's meeting with Montenegro, and he watched on yet again for the entirety of the game, with Joe Gomez, James Maddison and Tammy Abraham coming off the bench as Southgate rang the changes. Thus, he is clearly behind all of Michael Keane, Tyrone Mings, John Stones and Harry Maguire in the pecking order of defenders for England. His international limbo could however, change by Sunday 17th when the Three Lions play Kosovo in a dead rubber, having scaled through the series as group winners, and Southgate could give most of his first team players some rest then. Anglo-Nigerian striker Abraham who became cap-tied to England on October 11th opened his senior international goal account in the 7-0 victory over The Brave Falcons. Emmanuel Chinaza |

ArmaniUhuru: What about the one that couldn't score more than a penalty kick against Paraguay in a Copa American competition involving Japan and Qatar as invited guest?Because the continent is not more than 10 countries and so cannot organized a 12 Nation tournament without inviting others. So, Why haven't they invite better countries that can win their cup from them? Although they tried inviting Spain and Portugal as per former colonial masters but failed. Except for Mexico that got to the finals in 1993 as they lost to Argentina and that was the last time ARGENTINA even won Copa America with MESSI NEVER WINNING FOR ONCE ONLY FOR HIS INJECTION TO BE WORKING IN CAMP NOU |
As the group B of the 2019 U 23 AFCON finals presently stands, NIGERIA vs SOUTH AFRICA is a must WIN for NIGERIA indeed just like AZUBUIKE posited. Because COTED'IVOIRE is presently 2nd ahead of NIGERIA because of their Head-to-head record of 1 : 0 victory in the first match despite NIGERIA having a 1 Goal difference over them. So, Should both Matches in the group tonight ends up in a Draw or a loss for both sides, Then NIGERIA is out of Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Let alone NIGERIA loses and COTED'IVOIRE Win or Draw. However, A Draw for NIGERIA and a loss for COTED'IVOIRE would see NIGERIA scaling through to the Semi finals as group runner-up

U23 AFCON: SOUTH AFRICA game is a 'must-win' for Nigeria - AZUBUIKE Taiye Taiwo 14/11/2019 AFRICA U23 CUP OF NATIONS The Istanbul Basaksehir midfielder has stated the Olympic Eagles' mission when they take on Amaglug-glug at Al-Salam Stadium Nigeria U23 captain Okechukwu Azubuike has tagged Friday's encounter against South Africa as "a must-win game". Imama Amapakabo’s side needs to beat Amaglug-glug to boost their hopes of qualifying for the semi-final of the Africa U23 Cup of Nations. The Olympic Eagles are placed second in Group B, with a point behind the South Africans, after picking up their first win against Zambia on Tuesday. "It is a must-win for us, we know the importance of the game and we've been working hard in training," Azubuike said in their press conference in Egypt . "Hopefully, tomorrow we are going to come out in our best and then make sure we win the game." Azubuike joined the Olympic Eagles late on Monday after Istanbul Basaksehir held him back for their games in the Turkish Super Lig. After missing the team's 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast , the 22-year-old played a crucial role in helping Nigeria secure a 3-1 comeback win over the Chipolopolo. Azubuike doesn't think his presence in Egypt spurred the country to their first win but attributed the result to the team's effort. "I wouldn't say my presence did a lot because we have good players even without me, we can do something," he added. "I have been in this position before so I had to speak to the boys and we came out to play our best because the country expects that from us. "Going forward, I think with or without me, everybody is important and we can win every game if we want to win and we work very hard." copied from goal com |
