You are right in your analysis. Just that you didn't enter the current stage and state of politics in the country today.

Youths have been called out to take the mantle, and they are doing so. Change is coming. And it seems that it favours Peter Obi. The reasons we can discuss later, but it favours Peter Obi that's for sure. This transcends ethnicity or religion. This is about survival of the nation and its peoples.

Yes I know what you are saying clearly and One clear fact we needed to understand is that the NIGERIAN constitution does not stipulate in clear terms any Presidential rotationary tendency per say but when a particular Political party gains power, The omnions then lies on it to make it rotational between North and south which was exactly what PDP did between OBJ and YAR'ADUA

But GEJ emergence on the scene following the latter's Death and his subsequent lose of his 2nd term bid to BUHARI changed everything regarding the already established rotational symmetry

So, The omnions then lies on APC to establish a similar ideology by setting up a Southern Candidate as PMB's replacement or successor

But having tasted power going into the 7th Year already, it doesn't want to lose the opportunity to PDP again especially with a South East Candidate that might not be sellable to the NIGERIAN electorates

A similar thinkering was also at play within the PDP which was what Peter Obi saw that made him leave the PDP having sensed that PDP is desperate to return to power come 2023 and so, they won't want a Southern Candidate and in particular-South East that the activities of IPOB all this years have been anti Government and thus counting against anyone from that region

My brother, this same Political power play is what is still going on with the choice of VP to ATIKU, TINUBU and OBI as the 3 major competitors for the presidency come next year

Now, if not that Peter Obi is even desperate over his ambition, he would have been VP to ATIKU by now since he already announced same that he wants a repeat of 2019 but instead, Obi walked away to the Labour party while forgetting that the North still HOLDS the Master key for anyone aspiring to be president to fulfill his or her dream going by their full Electoral participation and higher LGA spread which equally translate to higher wards and constituencies which is why they are larger in number in the National Assembly[/b]

His decisions In the last four days shows that he might lack the temperament and patience to rule a multi-cultured place like Nigeria

Peter Obi was actually being carried away by his popularity amongst the NIGERIAN Youths with social media presence across majorly the Southern NIGERIA axis and ofcourse the print and electronic media encouragement made him to believe that he has arrived on the NIGERIAN National Political landscape

But the the Demonstration by a section of the said NIGERIAN Youths being referenced above some couples of days back at PDP's National Headquarters for PDP as a political party to elect Peter Obi as it presidential candidate today (Saturday) is an indication of how peter Obi goofed by his resignation in less than a week to the primaries

It equally showed that for one to become president, one must at least belong to either PDP or APC as Presidential Candidate, Else NO SHOW FOR ASO ROCK VILLA DREAM OOOOO

*Look Bro, Northern votes doesn't easily get to unpopular Political parties in the North ooo as majority are illierate and they have been participating in the electoral process since 1999 such that they are already used to the logos of the 2 major political parties-The APC and PDP already after they have been doing same from the councilorship elections through to the chairman, House of Assembly, National Assembly and ultimately the presidential election as the campaign directives are always in Hausa Dialect -Ki or ka Dan na maa Lema ne fa (That is, You should thumb print for the umbrella ni ooo) and ki or ka dan na wa tsinstiya ne fa (you should thumb print for the broom ni ooo)

If a Southwesterner does not win Apc ticket the best option left for APC in the current contestants they have is Jonathan and it's a big risk. Most of the Northerners that has shown interest will perform poorly in most part of the South and will most likely share votes with Atiku in the North

Who told you? When they have the highest number of candidates contesting? Enough of the hypocrisy, if zoning must be used then it should be done fairly and zoned to the south east otherwise the zoning is of no use and should be discarded let everyone go and contest.

But did you know that the NORTH CENTRAL, NORTH EAST AND SOUTH EAST are the ONLY 3 REGIONS YET TO TASTE POWER IN NIGERIA DEMOCRATICALLY?
so, when you make reference to Zoning by either of APC and PDP, then you shouldn't always be thinking of the SOUTH EAST ALONE as that is where you guys got it wrong that the North as a whole is exploiting by fronting for the ATIKU movement since he is from the NORTH EAST

On a normal day, His Preferred Candidate can't even win a Local Government Elections.
