But from my research, I saw that the Naira is higher in Value than the Korean Won.

Or do they pay workers in other currencies??

Why I ask is because the Tuition is in dollars, but they pay workers in their local currency.

So does going there to work and study, can it benefit??
I think you should go back and read the thread bro. I'm still in Nigeria you know and i acted based on the little information i got here. You can't get first hand information till you see for yourself. Any which way, life is a struggle. For me, the journey hasn't been easy. Going to have to buy dollars for 382 today when i budgeted 282 before i started this processing. Be strong and take the risk but get Oluwa involved. Cheers!

What Uni is that?

What is the tuition?

Can you convert to masters after the language program?

Can you stay back and work after graduation?..... That is the problem people travelling to Most european countries don't understand.
First and foremost south korea is in Asia. The name of the school is kumoh national institute of technology, Gumi. The tuition for language program is $2,345 excluding accommodation fees. I guess after your program you can stay back and work now according to the new policy irrespective of if where you work isn't in line with your discipline.
Again, you can convert your visa to a D2 visa when done with your program. I hope i've been able to assist with your questions bud. Cheers!

What and what did you legalize Sir...

Please I really need it.... Thanks
Sorry for the late reply bud. I legalized my credentials and diplomas. It just depends on what your school requests from you. I understand some schools don't even need to see embassy confirmation from applicant.

The truth is, this thread is slow like this because many people don't yet believe they can make money in south korea. So people are still rushing to Canada usa and other popular countries. One thing is to get admission, another thing is for you to see bank that will pay your school fees. I am talking from experience and some people can testify to that. I sofa for this pals.
I will advise you to start your application on time so that you can fight the wahala of cbn to a stand still. Diamond bank still remains the best bank but i came to know too late. We are still on the hustle bec we are not of they that give up but of they that lush to the end.
How long does it take bro for school to confirm fees?

Hi everyone, i'm George by name and i've been following this thread for a while now. I'm an applicant for fall semester Language studies in Korea. I am not impressed at all with the silence of this beloved thread which is full of detailed information and key insights concerning the whole process of studying in korea. We have people here, that have come and gone through this thread but they refuse to share success stories. Nobody is updating the house on first hand gists or tips. I'm not asking for much but please let's try to find time to drop posts here and encourage the people like us that have found interest to study in korea. I indulge everyone to please say something and let's keep this thread alive and hale. I appreciate each and every one of you guys. Thanks so much. Cheers!

Welcome and thank God. Did u ask any questions in embassy, what about air ticket? What else do u know apart from what u went for? Please share
I was able to speak with a korean administrative staff that called me to come pick up my documents. I used the opportunity to confirm about visa processing times and she said minimum of ten business days but it actually differs depending on the case of various applicants because of clarification of bank statement and other processes but i think they're efficient persons. Aside from vfs that isn't reliable. And mind you i went to pick up my documents myself because i stated it was urgent in an e-mail i sent to them about meeting up with a deadline. She's a good person as she even called me with her personal number. Those bad belle security men for gate even stopped me and told me they were on break that i should return in 2hours time after explaining to them about my plight. I just called her and she came to attend to me personally. For now, that's all i can say.

Definitely it will be faster but at what rate will ur anty sell dollar for u? She will want to use the black market rate for u because that is what the dollar would have amount to supposing she brought it home. But if she is kind enough to give u at the official rate, then u are good to go and it will be faster.
thanks so much bud. I really appreciate your prompt response. Long live thee!

I think the best bank u should use is diamond bank. Don't try to use ecobank because they will waste your time. Ecobank sells 300 naira per dollar but diamond bank is 283 or 284 depending on thier biding that day. U cannot expedite the process, i will advice u do it on time and not wait till dieing minutes. It will take one week and above to get your admission package from South korea. From what i have gathered and i think it also depends on the school. Apply to a school who has good communication relationship with their clients so that u can always relate to them when u have any challenge. Daehan University is the best in communication. https://m.facebook.com/dtuenglishprogram/
Thats their Facebook chat link and they always reply. Don't forget that they are 8 hours ahead if us, so chat with them accordingly. PLEASE i hope i did not offend.
Thanks bro. I'm considering asking an aunt to pay for me in the states and i'll credit her naira account here. Would it be a faster process than using the banks? Cc acadollar, don milky, puritymypride, vknonkwo and every other person with knowledge about this suggestion

Guys, how long does it take embassy to legalize documents both here in Nigeria and for those that did theirs in korea through friends? I have submitted since tuesday(10am) and the lady at the reception promised to call when it's ready. I haven't seen any alert from her till now. Even though she said it would take tentatively two days processing time. Today is the third day already and it's delaying my process. Also, how long does it take to pay school fees from Nigeria and receive admission package from korea? Is there any option to expedite this service and probably pay through tuition for it. Please help to clarify guys.

From all indications, you must be someone that back bites or a bad belle. You better be careful with the manner you destructively criticise posts! Grow up!

You can get it done in a court be it a magistrate or high court. Just swear an affidavit of fact listing your parents and siblings. What school are you applying to?

Guys i'm in abuja oh! Today was a hectic day for me. I'm tired of this country. I wonder why people should be collecting bribes for authentication of docs. From one desk to the other. I moved from bank to bank around abuja looking for where to pay the dues. Me and some guys i met there. I spent over three hours doing this....
