Waitung for my interview appointment and for NVC to approve joint sponsor because my Petitioner works outside the US but us domiciled in the US. I had to use a joint sponsor.. Waiting for acceptance of documents and interview. Wish me luck.

Actually he is right. There are multiple AOS forms and the one you will fill depends on the situation of the petitioner with regards to meeting poverty guidelines

There is only one affidavit of support form and that is the I-864. form.

The person petitioning for you will print out the forms from the USCIS website and fill the forms as well as the co-sponsor too...when the forms are filled out they should be mailed as well as their 3 years proof of tax returns and all mailed back to the USCIS local office that is assigned to their petition case.

There are multiple AOS forms it just depends on the petitioner's situation in respect to meeting the poverty guideline income.

Hello USMission, I've tried to send NVC emails and I call everyday but they never respond to me. It's been over 2 weeks now and they haven't changed my address. Please what can i do?

Other places you have resided ke? Do you live in Lagos? There is only one place you need to get the police certificate that is recognized by the embassy. That's on the Island beside Passport Office. The Street is Alagbon street. You can't miss it. It's by the passport office.

No i don't live in Nigeria.. I need to get 3 police certificates.

Lagos should be faster sef as that is the main place. Thanks alot, fingers crossed that it would go very well. No we didn't have any issue with NVC. We made sure to provide all documents they required using the checklist before we started the process. I made sure they were scanned properly and clearly too. If your scanned documents are not clear , you will get a rejection and have to resubmit which would then mean a delay in getting approval. I got a case complete within a week of submitting all applications and documents. Was the interview date that took about 4 weeks before it arrived.

Depends on where you reside. Did mine in Abuja. Went to police headquarters, filled out the form and got my picture and fingerprints taken. Paid 10k. Went on a Monday, picked it up on wed. Ready within 3days. Interview is in 4 weeks, going for medicals next week.

I currently live with my spouse in China. We filed a petition for an I-130, CR1 visa category last year while living in Abu Dhabi. I'm the beneficiary and she's the Petitioner. Our petiton was approved in March,2019. However, before approval we had contacted USCIS about a change of address. Fast forward to 4 weeks after approval, we received a mail from NVC providing us with a unique case & identification number. After logging in, i see that the location still reads Abu Dhabi. My questions are;
1. How do we change this address at the NVC?
2. Is a bank account and tax payment enough proof for domicile of the petitioner as stated on travel.state.gov?

Because we intend moving back to the US together and it states that the petitioner has to be able to proof domicile in the states and enter either before or concurrently with the immigrant.

At the stage of gathering documents and wouldn't want to be delayed at the NVC.
