This government have promised nothing good and fulfilled it . Everyone should prepare for higher food prices next year . The report I am getting from food suppliers about food prices from the north is not good at all. This is harvest season so prices should be lower. I expect rice to be 120k from march (off - harvest) next year. |
It has affected everyone negatively.some people with private jets have parked them for now. |
I will wait for Dangote to confirm before I believe these people |
Rivers LGA election has given us a glimpse of how 2027 presidential election will be . He doesn’t need to think about it because his IG of police, service chiefs and INEC will deliver the country to him. I even fear he may seek third term. What surprises me most is that no political heavyweight is talking or condemning what is happening in rivers state. It shows how low our democracy have sank. |
Just imagine what the IG will do during general election |
If care is not taken, the next 7 years will continue like this for Nigeria. Forget about voting tinubu out, he is a mafia it won’t work. I hope he will pick a decent successor as he picked fashola . If not it means Nigeria doom will extend to 15 years and by then the generation of youths available will be the once’s bred under Nigeria corrupt system. They will see corruption as a normal way of life. |
mightyhaze:I agree with you on the farming but a lot needs to be put in place to make farming less risky. Apart from insecurity from bandits , there is also issue of high theft rate in farms . One of my friend rented a land to plant plantain . Once the place was almost ready for harvest overnight they stole a sizable portion of the harvest. He reported to the elders police and people he rented the land from. People advised him to harvest the rest and continue with the case but he wanted the evidence to be in the farm so he did not heed . Days later thieves came again and finished all. The risk in farming is not making people key in . Nigerians are not lazy just that what government is supposed to do to make people thrive are not being done and protest no Dey work again. |
Government should create an enabling environment for business to thrive. That way private businesses will be involved in the sales distribution of essential items instead of government wanting to donate a hand full of items for 200 million people. |
Amumaigwe:What do you advise at this moment as all available means of negotiating with government have failed ? |
It is so sad. I wish people listened when every right thinker was against his presidency. I remember that documentary gistlover posted , in a serious country he cannot win LGA election talk less of presidency after series of the revelations that came out about his past . Now it is only prayer that can save us because protests have failed. |
Out of 200 million people so this is the best person Nigeria picked to be president ? |
It’s only a matter of time everyone will be in band A. It was just a style of removing electricity subsidy for everyone . |
Nothing can work properly in Nigeria as long as tinubu is the president . |
RollinTNDA:Yes. The only unfortunate side is that it will reduce economic activity since people will sit at home because of high cost of transport . |
This reminds me of FGC ODOGBOLU |
ppogba:What due diligence are you taking about. People take advantage of the system . With a good lawyer you can get an eviction just as they did . You don’t really sound like someone that Nigeria has passed through judging by your comment . They didn’t even notify him of the court process which means they must have pasted the court summon, taken a picture and then removed it . The people he is dealing with are very crooked. I pity him . |
ppogba:From the last paragraph I can deduce you are not matured. Did the man say it is a bank? Do you know people do money lending as their business? Once the money you need is far lower than the collateral anything is possible. A lot goes on that you don’t know about . |
To those saying it is not real: Do you know if the wife forged his signature in a letter giving her permission to use his property as collateral? This is Nigeria. A lot goes on in the underworld . There are loan sharks and money lenders that don’t follow the book. So don’t expect the borrower to be a bank . Women are devils , a lot of us have our individual stories. |
Bomaway007:This can happen if the sender did a transaction with someone that paid him with proceed from kidnapping or fraud. Once the original owner of the funds makes a report they will freeze every account that partook in receiving the money. I suggest you and the sender come together and work out a story that can convince the bank that you are not involved. |
Good day everyone. I have an appointment for 16th September (Monday) that was booked using the old platform. I just got informed by my friend that Monday 16th September is Eid maulud holiday. I have checked email and no rescheduled date. Will the interview still hold ? |
Kai this is so sad. Unfortunately every Nigerian’s net worth has diminished since BAT took over |
If this monthly candle closes below 59k then I will expect a dip within the range of 38k to 44k. |
I have a little problem. I filled 15 July 2024 as my date of travel in ds160 and chose lagos as my venue. Some months later I paid the fees and booked appointment for September 2024 in Abuja as abuja had a closer available date than lagos. My questions are: Do I need to fill another ds160 form since it is just the date of travel that is wrong? A friend told me even if I fill a new one , I will not be able to link it with my profile as the old website no more works. Can another ds160 be used for interview even if it is not linked with profile? Does the venue of the interview I already chose as lagos in ds160 matter ? Since I wasn’t able to get interview slot in lagos eventually. |
The middle class have been wiped off by this government. Bad policies are affecting businesses and the president is not bothered. I heard they want to fuss businesses to reduce their price rather than reduce taxation at the port, in the market and on the road . |
Most women are after the money. Not the Man. Pray not to be broke to find out if your wife loves you because what you will discover will shock you
|
Na wa. I know he has started looting enough from the treasury to pay 100k per vote in 2027. Unfortunately same poor people will collect the money and still vote the disaster . I am expecting the most rigged election in Nigeria to be conducted in 2027. It is only God that can save us as he saved us from Abacha . Fellow Nigerians, na one chance we enter |

Difrent:That lagoon comment by the oba in 2015 was what sowed the seed. Nnamdi Kanu only reacted to what was playing out |
Tinubu should shun tribalism and controllability and instead pick based on merit. See the kind of people he surrounded himself with. If I were tinubu I would start looking for how to consult great economist within and outside Nigeria. The country economy is not in the right hands just because he want people without conscience he can control |
Donald7610:This article is not about charging at home. It is about the economic viability of going to a charging station. |
easzypeaszy:You are the one who is not calculating . You even added insults to show how empty you are. I don’t know if I should interact with you based on your intelligence but for the benefit of other readers let me explain. An average commercial bike takes 2k to 3k fuel for the full day, bike engines do not consume much. Having to pay 2,500 for a full charge which probably last a day does not make sense. At least it should be lesser that the average fuel expenses. Mind you, the charging station is not readily available at every point which means you have to reserve some of the charge to transport to where you will recharge . We are looking at the economic viability of using the charging stations so don’t bring the idea of charging at home. That is not what the article is about |
The users should calculate which will be cheaper between petrol and this 2,500/charge. I think 2,500 per charge is a lot. 500 to 750 would have been ok since it is a bike NB: for those saying you can charge at home, this thread is about paying 2500 for charging in a charging station. |
