youngEmelex: The problem with us is that we hardly learn from history therefore history keeps repeating itself.
During Buhari's tenure, there was this open display of hypocrisy by the north. It's was the 'sai Baba' chant all the way whether Buhari did wrong or not.
They sang his praises until he left office. The use of brutal force against protesters were appreciated by the north. The killing of Biafra agitators was something to celebrate in the north.
Even though that they northerners weren't exempted from Buhari's incompetence, they were all ready to perish as far as he remains in power. There was no single comment against killing and rapping of women in their farms.
Fast forward to today, the northerners are now the ones forming the Hausa Zalla movements and championing the Tinubu must go campaign and no other region in Nigeria is paying attention to whatever they are doing.
When they complain against insecurity, they are asked why they didn't complain under Buhari. If they attempt to protest, they are asked why they didn't protest under Buhari.
It got so bad that close to 500 people were kidnapped in Niger state and the media reduced the figure to 15 persons. Nobody cares about the happenings in the north any longer and news about them hardly go viral. Other tribes have left them to their fate and none is going to give a single vote to their candidate come 2027.
But the funny aspect of all these is that the Buharists are saints compared to what we are currently facing now. A certain people now openly defend fraud just because their tribes man is in power. Other political parties are attacked during their rallies and they come online to celebrate the attacks.
I actually pity them the most because if the table ever turns, IDP camps in the north will be heaven compared to the price they are going to pay for their foolishness, bigotry and the act of taking wickedness to another level
As I was reading the Bible, I just knew that Jesus is God. He's not a prophet. I was reading about the miracles he was doing, and I was like, I've never seen miracles in Islam. I'm reading about the way he heals people, and I'm like, no, this can't just be another prophet, cuz even Muhammad wasn't doing what he's doing. I start feeling conviction.
Why do I not like the things I used to love? It's just strictly the Bible. The Bible's literally convicting me, but it's bringing healing to me. God's literally, within 3 months, completely renewing my mind from how I view homosexuality, how I view sex before marriage, secular music, drinking. August 15th, 2 days after my birthday, I was like, oh, I want to get baptized.
I remember in front of my whole church, I said, "My name is Nadine, and I declare Jesus is the Lord and savior of my life!
I was like, I have to tell my family. I told my dad, and over 2 years, my dad had me blocked completely off everything. He attempted suicide for his third time because he found out I was a Christian. He said, "You have brought shame to our family." They found a whole suicide note about how, you know, he attempted because my daughter's a Christian. I failed. I failed in life.
During this time, I'm praying for my family. The Lord starts to show me, "Do you need to forgive your family? You need to forgive your dad for the ways he's abused you." And I'm like, "No. Why? Don't you see what he's done?" I cried, and I was just like, "Okay. Jesus, if you forgave me, I need to forgive." Cuz if he could forgive me, who am I not to forgive my dad? So, I started forgiving him. I said, "I'm going to say it. I forgive my father for all the abuse he's put me through. I forgive him. I forgive him. I forgive him." And as as I started to say that, something would just break. Something was breaking off me. The rejection and the pain was breaking off me. My dad, after 2 years, sends me a text message, maybe like five paragraphs of him apologizing to me for everything he had done to me since I was a little girl. I called him. I was like, "I love you." I don't see my dad as the person who abused me. I see him now as someone that God wants to reach. I have completely forgiven my father. I love him. I see him with the eyes of the Lord. And that's only only by God. It's only cuz I understand how much I've been forgiven. When you come to Jesus, it's not just a better life. It's a new life. It's a brand new life. Jesus is my savior. He's not just the savior. He's my savior. He saved me. He saved me from addiction. He saved me from homosexuality. He saved me from the lust of the world. He saved me and he wants to save you. He is the savior. There's no other savior. He is the only savior. You are never ever too far gone for God's love, mercy, and grace. He is ready to welcome you with open arms!
obembet: I I believe many Nigerians have been wondering why the great man of God, Apostle Arome, has been trending on social media for the past month. Before I share this, let me tell you a little about him."
Apostle Arome is a man of great inspiration when it comes to the undiluted Word of God, with an ability to effectively deliver God’s counsel to the people. He is striving towards the rebirth of apostolic Christianity. He founded Remnant Christian Network (RCN) with headquarters in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria and branches in and out of Nigeria.
Now, here are a few words from Pastor Arome that have made some Nigerians, including the social media influencer Very Dark Man (VDM), challenge the man of God." Some pastors, including Pastor Abel Danima, have directly challenged the man of God over his various claims about his beliefs, while some other prominent pastors have also warned Christians to stay away from any attack on Christianity as one body of Christ.

Kimboshakasha: Biafra did not start the civil war. Nigeria did. Get your facts right.
Read objectively not with emotion you will get the right version of event. The one your ancestors told you was a lie or at best a deliberate twist to suit their narrative.
JuanDeDios: I knew you'd ignore my advice, read it fast, and miss the point.
If you can't see your inference yourself then something is wrong with your reasoning. You be have already summed up the scenario but want to gaslight me for your own analysis. You will be ok.
JuanDeDios: Read this slowly. If an armed robber kills an innocent person, it's wrong. If a policeman kills an innocent person, it's wrong. But it's more shocking when a policeman does it, because we expect more from him than a common criminal. Biafran crimes were wrong. Federal crimes were wrong. But I expected more from the federal people they were the government.
Who am even explaining to? You can't comprehend any of this. You'll be fine.
So by your inference Biafra are the armed robber or criminal policeman right? So fg should apologize to criminals! why? Apology to people you described as criminals o☹️

Asaba Massacre: Nigeria Remembers- 59 Years On, And Still No Official Apology

the Biafra started the war they don't know their would be consequences from the war. The people killed in asaba, Edo and ore have Biafra apologized to them?
Is this dressing or fashion in African society? This is fast becoming common sight and spreading like wild fire even among married women. This looks shameful to me though. 😠
LagosOrigin: Tinubu said he had saved enough money from fuel subsidy removal , it's time to show the workings if truly he saved shishi
The president is lies more than the devil
You mean your angulu president. When most of you ranting will not go to school properly. The money for subsidy was being borrowed before. But now subsidy is no more so they are no longer borrowing. You should try go for extensive lessons.
I hope this is not deliberate internal sabotage being sponsored by bandits brothers in the system after the onslaught on bandits? The success against bandits is vexing them😋
