So far...NO COALITION has happened!
Its just ATIKU faction of PDP and some few disgruntled hungry and angry APC members decamping to ADC only igbos believe some faction of pdp joining ADC with few APC members will automatically transform to winning. APC is even getting the advantage cos they will end up teaming with the other faction of pdp. Una know really no politics at all. When Atiku becomes the ADC candidate, then you will understand better cos pdp southerners will work against him big time. South south pdp governors are already aligning with APC. |

The coalition presidential hopefuls have no trust that someone who loses out won't sabotage the fragile coalition. They want to have fall back options. This is why Atiku has not resigned from PDP and Obi is fully booked in LP while they both do anti-party activities in ADC.
Theyd claim they are trying to outsmart Tinubu. Anyone willing to outsmart Tinubu needs to be smart enough to be sure where he stands politically. Same obidients are attacking Wike but their fake messaih is doing same thing now. He is not a stable man. |

franchasofficia: One thing is signing an agreement, another thing is honoring the agreement.
Peter Obi the Rock my man doesn't have an issue supporting anybody that wins, the only issue is we Obidient Movement members, most of us don't want to hear that Peter Obi won't be on the ballot come 2027.
We are so prepared, physically, psychologically, financially and otherwise to fully back Peter Obi in 2027, and this time we are prepared to follow INEC with fire.
But if I am to decide for the Obidient Movement, I would suggest we support Atiku/Obi ticket should Obi run and Atiku wins.
What do I even know self? Let me quickly go back to London to check on Buhari the previous disaster Obi will never smell aso rock. You people talk more than this before nmandi kanu arrest and he is about to do his fifth Christmas in prison. Obi will till take third position and this time with a far lower vote. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Will Defeat Coalition Group In 2027 - Bishop Katung by kedeojo(m): 12:00pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
Hemanwel: Let me use this opportunity to advise Mr Peter Obi and fellow Obedients like me as we approach the 2027 elections.
To Obidients: Let's stop this naive radical approach of supporting our man, Peter Obi. Let's drop this idea of "Obi is qualified to be President or is a presidential material; hence, he can't be deputy to anybody", "2027 is Peter Obi or nothing", " Obidient Movement is bigger than Peter Obi", etc. Politics doesn't work that way!
Remember, despite President Buhari's cult-like followership in the north, coupled with his virtue of integrity, he still had to align with the 'powers that be' before he could become the president, after three failed attempts. We all know that Peter Obi won the last general elections but was rigged out. This is what will continue to happen, unless he forms a coalition with other political heavyweights. He certainly cannot do it all by himself. This is Nigeria. Our democratic ideals hasn't gotten there yet.
Again, in 2013, when the APC was formed, the current president, Tinubu, temporarily shelved his ambition for Buhari (someone he knew could get the northern bloc votes) to pave the way for his turn - which he is enjoying today. If he had insisted on contesting the 2015 elections, he probably would have lost, and might not have been president today
Let's also remember that Peter Obi is the leader of the Obidient Movement, therefore, we - as followers - are to follow him to wherever he goes. We are to listen to him. We are not to decide for him. He is the politician and he sure knows what's good for him. If being in the coalition party and deputizing Atiku is the platform/vehicle in which he could achieve his ambition of becoming president someday, so be it!
To Peter Obi: I will advice that you learn from Buhari for his decision to align with the 'powers that be' in 2013. Learn from Tinubu who temporarily had to sacrifice his ambition for Buhari.
I believe the Atiku/Obi ticket is the only ticket that can remove Tinubu in 2027. It's also the same ticket that can make Obi realize his ambition of becoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Obi didn't win 2023 election. How many votes did he scored in core north. After his religious campaign and the yes daddy call, you expect Muslim to vote for him. Obi was scoring less than 50k votes in most northerner state. May be you obidients think election was only conducted in southern Nigeria. Obi knows that and that was the reason after the election, he started visiting mosques in the north. |

seunmsg: In 2023, a northern Christian dare not declare an open support for Bola Tinubu. The entire Christian community in the country would have descended on him. But times have changed.
Today, northern Christian couldn’t believe how the Peter Obi they supported in 2023 has moved on to form an evil alliance with El-Rufaiz , the butcher of Kaduna Christian whose children promised to unleash further shege on northern Christian's and Atiku, the Fulani fundamentalist who danced shamelessly on the grave of Deborah, the innocent Christian student who was murdered by Atiku’s supporters.
Indeed, 2027 will be pay back time as every decision has political consequences. I just pity obi cos the northern Christians vote he got in 2023 will now be for Tinubu. No Christian up north won't be happy about Kaduna south peace. The kukah and co will mobilize Christian vote for Tinubu. Obi's time has really gone. |

Somehow, some scallywags think he stands a chance over Obi or Atiku?
Even the hard of sight and hearing knows this "endorsement" was paid for.
Unfortunately for him, it wont translate to votes. Obi can't also win Soludo if constitution allow him to contest for third term. Let obi prove his worth by sponsoring a candidate against Soludo. He did that with Valentine Ozigbo and we all know the result. Obi is been promoted by igbos for president cos he is the only igbo in the race since 2014. sreamsense: They backed him to win ADC primary or presidency? Which one? Hope they know the difference? Tell Obi and Atiku that you want to dash Amechi ticket. ADC primary will be very interesting because each of the major candidates is a bad looser. Atiku, Obi and Amechi; each of them is a bad looser. Once it is not each of them that wins that primary, it means that primary is marred with fraud and can never be acceptable. Each of them will get angry and will never support one another. Instead, each of them will seek alternative platform to run ridiculing coalition and throw away coalition in the mud you are very wrong. Ameachi will accept vice presidential candidate if offered because Atiku will surely be the candidate of ADC. It is left for obi to agree to run with Atiku or he join another party. When I say, most south south don't longer allign with south east cos they are too tribalistic. When given chance, they will malign south south. People who don't regard Ebonyi state as real igbos, is it tribe in south south they will regard. We are so wise and political calculative than them now. |
Politics › Re: Presidency, APC Leaders Fault Boss Mustapha On Tinubu's Role In Buhari's Victory by kedeojo(m): 4:56pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
casualobserver: It will also help these people to take some time to look at the breakdown of Buhari’s votes by region and states in 2011 and in 2015. It was the flipping of the SW + Edo that gave Buhari his victory. Without those 7 ACN states (plus Kogi and Kwara) Buhari would not have gotten the 25% required in 2/3rds of 36 states +FCT which he never got previously.
As you can see below in 2011 Buhari only got 25% in 16 states. Without the 6 SW states + Edo under ACN, plus Kogi and Kwara, his story would have been the same in 2015 as it was in the previous elections.
12m votes is of no consequence if you only have 25% in 16 out of the minimum 25 required. They knows the truth but bitterness is killing them. One of them even said rochas brought 700k vote, did buhari get 25 % requirements. The ACN wing championed by Tinubu made the difference. Tinubu was so bold when he criticize buhari in Abeokuta about him crying for three times and he call am and told him he will become next president and it happen. For Tinubu to get the ticket of APC when buhari wasnt supporting and also the national chairman then Adamu, shows he is a formidable and strategic politician. Even El rufai didn't support him for the primary.it was after the primary he began supporting. No politician in Nigeria today would have survived the onslaught and hurdles Tinubu face from primaries to the main election. Obi has not even face primaries of ADC, he and his supporters are threatening fire. After the outburst in Abeokuta, Adamu the national chariman said it is an insult to president buhari and tinubu will be punished but when buhari was interviewed around that time, he simply said Tinubu made him president. Which candidate of a political party will criticize a sitting president and get away with it to the point of winning the primary and later succeed the president. Emiefiele is the scapegoat today because he allowed himself to be used by Buharis boys. He easily fell cos his people has long standing hatred to the yorubas. Today is in pains. Except Buhari, all that work against Tinubu are receiving their baptism of fire. Tinubu is a gladiator and a colossal politically. |
Politics › Re: Presidency, APC Leaders Fault Boss Mustapha On Tinubu's Role In Buhari's Victory by kedeojo(m): 4:37pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
Kalulu44: There's something most of these people supporting Tinubu in this matter is not getting right. Nobody is saying Tinubu didn't help in Buhari's emergence as president. Tinubu did by adding his south west numbers to the millions Buhari already had. But that did not automatically made Tinubu the one who made Buhari the president. Tinubu tried no doubt with both his votes and finance. But only Tinubu south west votes wouldn't have won the election. So Tinubu votes was just like a salt added to a soup to bring out its taste, Buhari and his support groups has almost done the finishing of the soup, and that's what Boss Mustapha is trying to say Tinubu was the major catalyst that delivered buhari's presidency. Without his support, he won't have won the primaries ahead of formidable politician like Atiku and kwankwanso. That is the first major step to buhari victory. Buhari was able to get the required 25% in two third of the states and FCT because Tinubu endured he got all six western states, Edo state and kogi state with his effort and the likes of Saraki brought kwara. Na small pikin they worry some of una or bitterness that has become regional trademark. |

AMINDA: Okay, your Tinubu intends to use state apparatus to win re-election? I'm glad even his die-hard fans are coming to terms with the fact that he has no realistic pathway to victory. Tinubu and his state apparatus will be resisted across the entire North and in the East. He's free to rig the Southsouth. They appear docile but their numbers won't get Tinubu across. you are ignorant. If the governors in south south who before the year end will all be APC members and decide to rig, then I assure you that tinubu will get nothing less than 10m votes from south south and that will out number the Atiku votes from the north. Pdp riggers and APC ones are now together. The vice presidential slot in 2031 is the major interest and follow by Atiku refusal to step down when matters in 2023. No governor will support Atiku in south south. Go and take that to the bank. He will also lose gallantly in the south west. |
Politics › Re: Can Obidients Think Deeper For A Minute? by kedeojo(m): 10:57am On Jul 11, 2025 |
Chidibe212: Same thing I said earlier in one of my posts and I was tagged anti Obidient and not being igbo.
Let Atiku do his 4 years, reform INEC to make our votes count then Obi enters.
If it's ok for Obi to be deputy for Atiku it's still fine as long as the agreement is on paper and upheld that Atiku does only one term and hand over to Obi ( with the Northerners backing and also with people who wants to witness Obi's presidency). However it will be better another Southerner to deputize Atiku other than Obi in my own opinion o so that Atiku will have his own presidency and Obi will have his own presidency as well.
This is STRATEGY and NOT EMOTIONS
Even if Obi contest alone under LP, or even with the backing of Atiku under ADC, Obi will loose especially under this TINUBU.
And even if Atiku looses in 2027 without Obi's backing with votes, he still has a stronger chance/opportunity in 2031 and another time Obi or a Southerner will have a chance again is in 2039.
It's only the North that can fight head on against this TINUBU
Thanks OP you said the outright truth void of emotions most especially when you said ATiku with backing of CPC bloc will flood the core north and those votes there will be hardest to rig "cos they will fight for it unlike if it is OBi as the flagbearer. It is simple no one fights for another man's right especially Nigerians. North will fight for what is their own! (Don't blame them)" The North with their numbers and nerve will fight (even physically) for their own with this hunger as a weapon unlike the South particularly the eastern part
Infact let me tell you what will happen in 2027. Tinubu will loose but he will not agree to step aside like GEJ. They will be bloodshed and crisis which the North can easily champion alongside hungry southerners that wants Tinubu out. The military will come in and re-conduct a fresh election and Atiku will win afterwards. you understand politics. Igbos should sit with Atiku and sign an agreement of after his presidency either four or eight years cos I know Atiku will definitely do if by chance he win in 2027, that power comes to south east with his backing. But allow a south south person to run with Atiku and you guys throw support. If Obi contest as vice presidential candidate to him and you people now think he will handover after four years, just know that the highest office you people will attain will be vice president cos Atiku will do complete eight years and we south south would not fold out hands why after eight years of vice presidency and power remains again in south east for another eight years. Don't compare south west opportunity now cos they were majorly in Southern Nigeria who embraced the formation of APC and we south south was the president then tru Jonathan. |
